All dry cleaning and washing/drying/ironing is shipped out of town to an offsite facility. I can easily understand how ite could be lost. As for taking a long time for items to be returned after alteration, I took two shit's in today to be hemmed. I observed a large amount of clothing to be altered. When you're the only phone company in town, you must understand the place will have a lot to do. In the case of having alterations done, this is a hand-on project and it's likely you won't get your items back within a week or so. She does good which is why she has so much to do. Your only other option is to locate an individual who does alterations in their home.

I dropped it off with a local satellite pick up/drop off location, and when I received my garment back the color appeared less bright, there were some random hairs (looked like animal of some sort) on my jacket, and most egregiously, random light blue stains most notably on my lapel. This is the most inconvenient laundromat I have ever used. First, they operate off cards; ok fine,…read morehowever you can't load any amount on there, noooo, it can only be $20. Should you not be a local and not NEED that much, you must prepay you wash AND dry by getting the help of a worker there. Dryers are $1, $1.25 and $1.50 (sz difference I guess). I asked how much time you get, and she told me 20 minutes, but turns out it is only 25. When your wash is done, you must then go find an employee and have them authorize your dryer. It is very inconvenient and a huge hassle. Plus, they certainly are not very friendly. I only gave this two stars since the place was huge, but be warned, if you are not a local, they don't treat you very nice. I'm surprised they don't make you prepay to use a folding table. Boooooo!
