I gave a cost per head and he created a wonderful menu...everyone raved about the spice pork tenderloin, the garlicy grilled beef and the desserts. Unfortunately I didn't get enough pictures.

He had everything unloaded, staged and was out the door within 15. He delivered on every level, and we will for sure hire him for our next events. Thank you again, Jerry!

However, this was some of the MOST DELICIOUS food I've ever had at a wedding. Huge variety of fruit (blackberries!), a gigantic spread of different crackers and cheeses, 3 types of bruschetta bar, grilled asparagus, mushroom, tomatoes and zucchini, artichoke hearts stuffed with spinach/artichoke dip (addictive), butternut squash ravioli in a butter/sage sauce...this was all I ate, and I know there were a few options with salmon in them as well. As a vegetarian, it's nice to know there are really delicious catering options that large amounts of people will love, even if they are meat-eaters (not that I'll be getting married in the next 30 years or anything)...If you find yourself at an event catered by Classic Catering, consider yourself lucky!

The quality, taste and price beats any other catering options in the Overland Park/Lenexa area. They arrive early or on time EVERY TIME, their presentations are ALWAYS complimentary to the meal being served and always taste delicious. In particular, I have consistently ordered the Champagne Chicken & Mexican Fiesta (w/Chicken Fajitas) and they have never failed me. For the private event, it was a 70th birthday party at a friend's home. Every guest was impressed with their professionalism, the food and the set-up. I echo the previous poster's comment that if you are lucky enough to attend an event catered by Classic, consider yourself lucky! Additionally, I worked at a company where Classic catered every Holiday Party and again, I highly recommend them for all of the above reasons. Lastly, a special thank you to Spence & Jan! They are always a pleasure to work with!

The salads are large and filling! My favorite thing here is the lemonades - they have so many flavors and most if not all are made with housemade syrups. Ordering was super simple online and the food was ready exactly on time with zero hiccups. They even helped me load it to my car in the freezing cold, and scrounged up a couple of birthday candles for me which I had forgotten to buy for the party! The food itself was delicious. The quantities are huge, so excellent value. And the presentation was Instagram-worthy. Can't wait to come in for brunch, as the shop itself is adorable and full of treasures in the retail racks. This is my new go-to place for party platters. Thank you, The Table crew!

There were a couple things I didn't like and the good news is that I didn't have to order them for the event. We selected a plated service and our confirmed guest list was right at 150, which they had no difficulties handling. We offered 3 options to our guest and I have to say all three of them received high praise. 1. Crab crusted Halibut 2. Braised Short-rib 3. Cornbread Stuffed Chicken A starch, vegetables, rolls and salad made for a great meal. They even offered a cake cutting service which made the entire night feel stress free. We also had a charcuterie board to begin the evening with our cocktail hour and most of that was eaten. Payment options were easy to deal with and although moderately priced everything seemed worth it. Once again Taylor was there every step of the way.
