Came here all the time when I lived in the Bronx…read more It's a fairly good CVS. It's always stocked well and kept nice and organized/clean. The selection is pretty good here. They also have a lot of different snacks/foods that I don't regularly see in most CVS's. I still pop by here once in a while during my lunch break if I need something random during the workday, but I don't see the need anymore since I live in Manhattan now. The lines are never too bad here. There is some waiting, but it's never been a crazy amount, no matter what time I come. My brother found a $20 bill on the floor once. Not that it's relevant to my review or anything haha.

Incredibly full after I made an online reservation for both the latest Moderna Coronovirus vaccine AND the RSV vaccine same day one after the other. There were over 4 different lines, and over 60 people waiting for different services from the pharmacy. I was on line 1 hour when only 3 people were ahead of me, then the pharmacy employee was a Venezuelan girl in her 20's who didn't speak a word of ENGLISH!!! Terribly unprofessional. Then after waiting again on another line, after she took my insurance information, the pharmacist giving the vaccines calls my name at 3:00 PM and says he only has the Coronovirus one, the RSV "goes fast here.". Never again will I step foot in ANY CVS especially the CVS at Morris Park, BRONX, New York!!

For the past 10 years, my mother gets all her prescriptions filled by Pilgrim Pharmacy in the Bx. I…read moream writing to commend the quality personalized approached practiced and demonstrated by the staff. My experience with the staff ranging from the front desk to the pharmacy is one that I am grateful for. I feel comfortable calling to inquire about prescriptions, ask questions or request a delivery of her medications and any other need related to my mother's medications. Each and every time, I reach out I am greeted by friendly, caring and professional staff who are compassionate and well informed. Please know that I relocated my mother to another residence however, I chose to stay with Pilgrim although I am surrounded by large pharmacies in the community. I am so happy to have Pilgrim pharmacy as a support resource that is reliable, efficient and trustworthy. If you are looking for quality care, I recommend you contact the pharmacy or stop by and visit to see for yourself. I thank the staff at Pilgrim pharmacy for being there for me when I call asking for assistance regarding my mother's medications. I truly appreciate the awesome delivery of services you provide to the residents of the Bronx. I rate you a high 5 and wish you and the staff continued health and operational success! Respectfully, Nancy Fernandez, daughter of Angela Ruiz.

Usually a super nice and sweet place. However, they started using an AI program that incorrectly…read moretells you which medications you do or don't have. I requested a refill through it, and it said it was in the queue. I called back hours later because I hadn't received a text and was confused. This was now the second time I was trying to get this same prescription, which was not ready weeks ago. When I told the lady the AI said it was ready, she repeatedly told me she did not see it, and I explained to her that my psychiatrist also said the same thing. I then called back and recorded the AI telling me what it told me because I was not lying, nor did I have a reason to lie. Was I upset? Yes, because this is not the second time, and it is a medication I need. If you cannot have people who can answer the phone properly, with training, and handle situations, don't have them answer the phone at all. And if you are going to use an AI program, make sure it actually works so customers aren't upset. Especially as a lot of these medications are what people rely on to live and function every day, but simply because it's not them taking it, she did not care.

Pharmacy - 4 stars The pharmacy is great for the most part…read more It doesn't stay open for very long on weekends and major holidays, so be wary of that. If there's a problem with your prescription, the pharmacists are almost always willing to help you resolve the issue, rather than leave you to figure it out on your own. The pharmacy manager is definitely the best; she's very knowledgeable and offers great customer service. The wait time for picking up prescriptions is sometimes long, but I guess there isn't much that can be done about that. I wish they had more chairs in the waiting area - as of now, there are only three. Photo Shop - 5 stars I haven't patronized this Walgreens's photo shop very much, so I can't give a comprehensive review of it. I've mainly visited it for passport photos. In my experience, the wait time has always been minimal and the staff very helpful. No complaints. They offer personalized photo products, but I can't attest to the quality or wait time of these products as I've never purchased them. It's also stocked with a good amount of SD and miniSD cards, as well as some old-fashioned Kodak disposable cameras (not sure if they offer to process the film from these cameras, though). I'm pretty sure they also sell digital cameras. Beauty Department - 4 stars They carry all the major pharmacy brands. They have a lot of L'Oreal, Maybelline, and Revlon makeup products; a good number of products from all the other brands (Milani, Rimmel, Wet n Wild, Sally Hansen); and some random cheap brands. They also carry a good selection of perfumes and colognes, but these are stored behind the register, so you have to ask to see them. They also do let you sample them, which is helpful. They also carry some beauty tools, grooming tools, and nail products. I had to knock off a star, however, for the annoying way that they stock their personal care products, which are in the same aisle as their beauty products. The deodorants are kept behind individual sliding plastic 'doors' that have to be slid all the way down to the end to get a product from the middle. The razors are kept behind a lock and you have to ring the customer service bell to get a person to come unlock it for you. You'll find yourself pressing the bell multiple times before anyone comes to help you. When someone does finally come, it'll be someone who appears to be very annoyed and who stands over you as you inspect the product. It's just easier to get a nearby working employee to help you than to ring the bell. They claim these added safety measures are to prevent shoplifting, but they just make the shopping experience more difficult than it needs to be. Also, if shoplifting is such a big problem that they have to lock up their products, then what the hell is the security guard who stands at the front of the beauty aisle doing? Customer Service - 3 stars The customer service is hit-or-miss here. Some employees offer impeccable customer service, even running around the entire store just to find a product for you. Others give minimal effort to helping you, if they even give any effort at all. One thing I know for sure: if you want any product that's locked up (razors, hair styling tools, special feminine hygiene products) FOR THE LOVE OF GOD don't ring the bell. It takes forever for anyone to help you and the loudspeaker makes an annoying announcement every time you press it (which causes people to stare at you and be annoyed with you). Just find an employee who's walking around or something. Or visit the Rite-Aid across the street, which doesn't have nearly as many items locked up. Overall - 4 stars The store is small, so it may not have everything you came for. If you use the Walgreens website's 'Find in Store' feature, it's not always accurate for this store (or for any Walgreens stores, really). Often times, I have looked up a product on the website, found it to be listed as 'In Stock' in this store, and visited the store just to find that they either are out of stock or never even carried it. The best stocked aisles are the dental hygiene aisle, the home cleaning aisle, the personal care aisle (probably because no one can reach the locked up products in this aisle), and the food aisle. They now have a rewards card, which is pretty useful. I recommend signing up for it. You don't even have to carry it when you purchase things, you can just enter the phone number you signed up for the card with at the register and you'll get the rewards. Customer service is alright, depending on the person who helps you. The lines sometimes get long, and they often open up a register in another department when this happens. They have good, sizable parking behind the building, so that's a plus. Overall, it's not a bad store, but not exceptional either.

Worst Walgreens I have ever been to. The customer service is terrible. The sales associates do not…read moreacknowledge or engage with customers, and the overall atmosphere is extremely unwelcoming. The staff are rude, inconsistent, and seem ready to argue over even the smallest concerns. A much more professional and respectful approach to customer service is seriously needed.

I came in after an urgent care visit for shortness of breath and asthma due to its urgency I was only in CityMd for less than 20 minutes, but I'spent an hour in Leroy pharmacy just to be denied because their system is not up-to-date. I helped them by going back to the clinic to get a print up of my eligibility. They still denied that | also went into my membership portal that showed them My coverage is active They denied that as well leven gave them a number for them to call based on providers and pharmacies and because it's the weekend they weren't able to get thru but my print up from the medical office and the portal both shown that eligible for visit and pharmacy, if I'm dealing with this and I have private insurance 1199 my bear goes out to those on public insurance in 2026 there is no room for lazy pharmacies that don't have the time to update their systems. If you're acquiring money from the public, you should be putting that back to make each interaction is convenient for everybody. I've never had to pay out-of-pocket my whole life for my insurance, but the only resolution they can come to since their system was inadequate was for me to pay $50 and to get reimbursed for my insurance DO NOT COME HERE Instead, use Walgreens use Parkchester pharmacy I'm always in and out in less than 10 minutes. Especially today Parkchester pharmacy was a huge help. All I had to do was give my information last name date of birth. They found my prescriptions instantly and I was out. That's the only conversation I had with the pharmacist was verifying my info if we want a quick happy experience use these pharmacies
