French dip and lots of different dips. The au juice is so good but ask to try other dipping sauces.

Found this place in the Marina. Friendly staff and they speak pretty good English The food is so good. I've had the French dip which is amazing. Ask for their dipping sauces. Try all of them !

Loved bennittos ! The vibes, the food, the service were all my fav when living around the plaza marina. Depending on what time you go you get a different feel, I enjoyed the evenings but also went for lunch. Def a really great spot for a quality meal and kind service.

Stumbled upon this place accidentally and let my nose show me the way. Located walking distance from the Marriott and right next to the marina. First off you can sit inside or outside and they have it spaced really nicely for covid. Our server Pearla was amazing. I was pretty overwhelmed with the menu and she guided me in the perfect direction. They have sandwiches which come with 4 different bread options and 10 different options for dipping sauces. (4 sauces come with the sandwich).. my kinda place! The sandwich comes on a cutting board and is HUGE! Plenty even for the biggest eaters! I ordered pasta with salmon, capers, and roasted red onion. So good! We order some roasted vegetables to give us some balance. Those I'd probably skip. The table bread was off the hook. Came out warm, sliced, and individually toasted . Dipped that in the pesto and it was a dream come true. They bring out oil and vinegar with the table bread if you made the mistake of not ordering one of their sandwiches. The ambiance is really nice. Tastefully decorated with down tempo music. Going there for breakfast in the morning! Breakfast is from 10a-12p. Almost forgot the best part! Total bill was $22... USD for dinner! Would have spent three times that amount in the US.

Stumbled upon this place the other night and so glad I did! I just had the crostini appetizer and a couple glasses wine. It was soooo good...similar to Bruschetta, but much better! One had eggplant and goat cheese, one with blue cheese, yummy!!! It was perfect fo my meal alone!

This place is operating perfectly in all ways. It's a gorgeous room, cute patio area, perfect servers, great drinks, and wonderful Italian food. I had the fettuccine Bolognese which was great and my wife had the lasagna which was one of the best ever. We regretted we didn't have room for dessert as they all looked wonderful. I've rarely been so excited to come back to a restaurant and definitely will next time I'm in town.

The paninis here are amazing! The sauces to try with the sandwiches are all delicious as well! Jalapeño sauce is my favorite...spicy but not overwhelming, with the olive tapenade coming in a close second!

The view can be beat anywhere in PV and PV is my home away from home. Book early. Truly 5* dining. Every second from arrival until taxi or driver picks you up. During high season you even need reservations for the bar. That's how incredible this restaurant is. If I could give a six star I would give it Dress: resort dinner, not resort casual Yes that's it. The violins playing are just the icing on the cake. Not too loud to interfere with hearing impaired (I have one). Perfect for all ages with help through entry.

I would have to say that La Cappella is one of the most romantic restaurants in Puerto Vallarta…read more Tucked away in the hills behind the main church, La Cappella delivers an immediate "wow" factor the moment you walk in. The setting, the atmosphere, and especially the views make this much more than just a place to have dinner--it's an experience. We started with cocktails. I ordered a traditional Old Fashioned made with Maker's Mark. It was made perfectly, although I would have liked to see a better selection of bourbons. Maker's Mark was the best bourbon available, but fortunately, they made a very good Old Fashioned with it. My wife ordered one of their specialty cocktails, the Maracuyá, made with tequila, passion fruit, lime juice, and agave syrup. It was refreshing and a perfect cocktail for a warm evening. We started dinner with their namesake salad. It was a generous portion--large enough to be a meal on its own--and our wonderful waiter wisely suggested that we split it. It came with mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, apples, pineapple, carrots, walnuts, and goat cheese, topped with a passion-fruit vinaigrette. After a hot day in the sun, it was incredibly refreshing. For my main course, I ordered the ossobuco, a slow-roasted pork leg with a Marsala wine reduction served over mushroom risotto with vegetables. The pork was absolutely delicious--falling-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. My wife chose the grilled octopus. The flavor was very good, but I would have preferred the slippery skin to have been removed before cooking. It was tasty, but the extra work required to eat it would probably make me choose something else on our next visit. But honestly, the ambience is what makes La Cappella truly special. We arrived about 30 minutes before sunset and watched the sun slowly dip below the horizon while a live violinist played along with recorded music. Sitting there with my wife, watching the sunset and listening to the violinist, was simply amazing. It's hard to imagine a more romantic setting anywhere in Puerto Vallarta. The interior is elegant, formal, and exceptionally well kept, while the overall atmosphere feels special without being stuffy. We wound up, ordering an after dinner, drink, in lieu of dessert, but moved out to the high top patio to get a better view of the city. I highly recommend La Cappella for a special occasion, anniversary, date night, or simply a romantic evening with someone you love. The food is excellent, the setting is spectacular, and the experience is one you'll remember.
