Arrived and greeted nicely. Up the stairs to our table. Nice table with decent view. Staff speaks very little English. Had the Caesar Salad, it was horrible. The dressing and lettuce were warm. It had no flavor, tasted like warm mayo but mayo had more flavor. Was told it was new dressing made today and is good. Ordered a pizza to share, which was actually pretty good. The sauce tasted a bit canned to me. It was hot and had good toppings. No white wine by the glass except most expensive. It was good, very small pour. Not impressed will definitely not be back. I literally can't believe the food tonight. I am so unbelievably upset that this supposed Italian restaurant can't cook fresh pasta. I ordered fresh ravioli and it comes and it's completely rockhard. My family had ordered already obviously, but I am not going to sit and eat undercooked rockhard pasta I sent my food back, and 45 minutes goes by and I still have not gotten my food My family has finished all of their food so obviously I'm not waiting any longer. The fried octopus we ordered came cold, the server took the plate to come back within two minutes with extremely hot octopus that is chewy which indicates it was heated in a microwave. Chicken wings bone were too dark inside which means the wings are way too old. They serve hookah for $75, that is US dollar. Sometimes you want to eat by the beach but still have aircon. My husband got the a pizza with blue cheese and shrimp. I was expecting it to be disgusting! Blue cheese and shrimp? The people and the service was good. I felt like non-Mexican food and decided to have a pizza. I know it's not a place that specializes in pizza, but I figured it couldn't be that bad. The ingredients were fresh, but the pizza was on the bland side to me. I added salt and pepper and cheese, and crushed red pepper, and then finally some tobasco sauce to make it palatable. Will I go there again? No. The view from the restaurant of the water was nice. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio that was so so, but nothing to write home about. read more

My first check in, in Mexico is at an Italian place. What can I say, I love pizza. It's about 120° with humidity her in July. After venturing through Old Town, we all wanted a bite to eat. We were all dripping with sweat. This place welcomed us in and had no problem accommodating a larger group. The comfort of the air conditioning and a clean restroom make this place a must try. The excellent food and drinks did not disappoint. Service was a tiny bit slow but hey, you are probably on vacation, so you shouldn't be in a hurry. My friends ordered the strawberry mojito, and I selected the pins colada. They were both delicious and called for a second round. Their pizzas are one size, around 10 inches. We didn't want a huge lunch, so we selected 3 different varieties. A margarita, a pepperoni, and the signature La Posta. All three were amazing and ended up being the perfect amount of food for our group of 8. The crust is thin and slightly charred in spots around the exterior by a smoking hot pizza oven. The Last Posta was the star of the table. Everyone loved the combination of onions, artichokes, and sun dried tomatoes. What a shining star this place is. read more

this really breaks my heart, but I have to be honest. I have been coming to Puerto Vallarta for 35 years. Up until this year after Covid. Everything was great about this restaurant. You could always depend on it. But I've had to Very disappointing experiences. First, I brought my wife and young child to a sit down dinner last week. We ordered the margarita pizza and the lobster Posta. Both were extremely average. And that's been generous. I paid a premium price for very average food. Then, I compounded this mistake by doing an Uber eats and ordered the Margherita Pizza and the Ragu pasta. I cannot tell you how terrible the delivery food was. Absolutely juvenile. If the chef had any respect, he would've never let it leave his kitchen I never speak ill of anything nor do I ever leave any negative reviews and I respect all small businesses, but this was just horrible. We were taking a walk on the Malecon when a fierce looking rain shower started to dump down. Clearly it would pass in an hour or so, but we were literally right in front of La Posta and decided to hop in and get a snack. This was the first restaurant since in Mexico that we ate at that had table cloths and air conditioning, so it was clearly not our type of 'side of the road' taco stand! In any case, the pizza and fried calamari that we got were ok. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was good (with a good view of the Malecon).
