"Ben Pham" runs this business, now for what at least 12-15 yrs. I bought 2 systems here, had some repairs done (before I knew how to assemble my own PC's), and a bunch of components - monitors, keyboards, mice, speakers, etc. Most of his merchandise are inexpensive, low-quality imports from Asia (China, Thailand, etc.) so high-end and big name brands are not their forte. Also, while things "look" like cheap imports, I don't think overall they're cheaper than Fry's, Central and Pixel USA, Benitek is a 1-man business so can't beat anybody on pricing I think. It's just very convenient if you live in that North SJ area, as opposed to running the Fry's gauntlet. Ben is a nice guy, his English is heavily accented, so intriguing thought-provoking conversation can be put on the backburner, but he knows computers very well and he won't try ripping you off, but go in with some idea about prices of whatever you happen to be looking for first 'lest you pay a little too much. read more

I came to Ben to build a custom PC because I simply do not have the time to build it myself. Once all my parts arrived today, I bought everything over to Ben. He was very quick, professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable in computer software and hardware. It took him 2 hours to build what I would've completed in a week or more. Very happy, satisfied customer. If I have any PC or Mac issues in the future that I cannot resolve or don't have the time to fix myself, I will be returning to Ben. read more

He has parts for your computer and he can build one up for you if you like. I've been going to Ben Pham since 2006 and I keep forgetting to write a review for him. I've referred a couple of people to him who have used his services and have been very happy with his work. My sister sees him on a regular basis for her computer fixes and recently he built her a new one from scratch. She is thrilled with it. Mom's computer has gone to him for a recovery from a virus and he was able to save all her data and transfer it back after a complete re-install of the operating system. I just got back from Benitek today and I am once again a happy customer. My back-up hard drive was making the "click of death" sound and I thought all my photos, music and documents were lost forever. Data recovery can be EXTREMELY expensive and I had already resolved that I may lose all of those memories. Ben discovered it was a faulty hard drive enclosure and within 20 minutes I was leaving with my hard drive back in business. I highly recommend Ben. He is always fair, honest, and has mad computer skillz! I love supporting small business and will continue to go to Benitek for his services and will continue to give him referrals. I have received superior service all these years from Benitek USA! Beni -- who is the owner -- is extremely professional and helpful. It turns out that I have worked for many established major corporations and startups in Silicon Valley in addition to teaching in several universities. As such, I have worked with many companies similar to Benitek USA. It is my firm opinion that Benitek is superior to almost all of the others. Due to my disability, I am not able to carry things. Quickest and most affordable computer repair place in San Jose. Bought my computer in for a motherboard and windows 10 installation. From drop off to pickup, the process took only about 3 hours. Ben was really nice and explained to me the repairs that he made to my computer. Turns out that I had a dead CPU. Ben told me which CPU were compatible with my PC, told me the price ranges for them, and gave me a temporary CPU for free of charge. Great place and person. read more

If your computer needs repair, You should consider bringing it to Benitek. Ben the owner is a great business man. And doesn't rip you off like some computer shops will. I took my computer to him to replace the motherboard. When I picked it up, I noticed he took a few extra minutes to go above what he said he was going to do. My laptop had two missing keys. He replaced them for me. and restored my computer. Saving me a about an hour. Bottom line. He doesn't do things half-ass. Check this place out, its worth your time.. but.. Buying computers looked a bit over priced. Just a tad. I would still recommend this shop to a friend. It's one of the best that I know of. read more
