Where do I begin. 9 years ago, after doing research we walked through the doors of Benham Ortho. Now, that location has changed but everything else has remained the same. My husband was 25 at the time, and I've been with my husband since we were 15. He hated smiling. He was very insecure. His dream was to have his teeth straightened to where he could smile again. He picked careers that didn't need much interaction with people. While going through treatment, we were always treated like family. I remember coming with my husband to appointments and wishing I worked here. Dr. Benham and his team were always there. Even if a bracket popped off he had an assistant that was willing to meet him at the other location on his lunch break just to help out. They changed my husbands life. Fixing his teeth gave him the confidence to quit his job and apply and change job careers. I saw my husband making friends and even WANTED to take photos with me. Dr Benham changed my husbands life. We moved out of state for a while and I never stopped thinking of this office. In fact, I was given a chance to work at a start up orthodontics practice. I fell in love with ortho because of Dr. Benham and his team and what they did for my husband. I am still blessed to work at my job but I work remotely now and are back in Texas. We have a 7 year old son that we recently brought back to Benham Ortho. It was so crazy to be back in this office and see some familiar faces.. it was like being back with family. I love that they are going to be there every step of the way for our son Julian. He has had some traumatic dental experience and although they were very busy.. Dr. Benham noticed how scared and nervous Julian was. He stayed in the consult just to calm Julian down and explain to him everything and how things work and how they promise they will take good care of him. Working in ortho, I know how busy the clinic can get and how it can get backed up. Not once did his team seemed stressed or behind and I'm thankful they took the time with us. We look forward to coming back next week and getting an appliance put in for my son. Thank you for welcoming us back with open arms and for changing my husbands life. I am forever grateful to you all. Photos are the first day in braces and then 6 months into treatment with extractions. Other photo is 1 year into braces. Other photos are showing how happy he is to smile!! read more

Just the worst service. I'm a physician and the service these people provide is just bad. I do not recommend this office at all. When wires that they have placed are cutting into cheeks they simply recommend parents cut the wires on a Monday morning. Really? Terrible and do NOT recommend. read more

What a great orthodontics practice! They did a wonderful job on both of my daughter's teeth. Super flexible hours- we could get in outside of school hours. Dr. Benham has a McKinney office as well- so on occasion when we would have a scheduling conflict- we could get an appointment there. All the staff was kind & helpful. I also love that they have an incentive program to motivate kids to take care of their braces . read more

I actually met Dr Benham through a friend, and so I finally convinced myself to get an appointment for a consultation for Invisalign. Dr Benham is actually a very caring doctor, and very straight forward. I really appreciate that he went through all the treatment options, he wasn't just trying to sell me on a product to make money. He told me the benefits and the disadvantages of whatever I wanted to do. The office itself is great. The staff is very kind, I didn't have to wait too long. Dr Benham took his time talking to everyone, not just me. And that's really important to me, because I'm a health care provider myself. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is interested in braces, adult or child. You'll feel comfortable. read more

Dr. Benham and his entire staff and absolutely fantastic! From the initial consultation to "braces off" day I could not be more impressed or happier with the results BOTH of my girls have had. The office is a treat to visit...massage chairs, large video screens for the kiddos over the chairs and in the waiting room, iPads, Benham bucks that are redeemable for prizes and much more. Upon removing my daughters braces, one of her teeth was grey and roots dead. She needs a root canal and beyond... there are countless medical articles on over aggressive orthodontists and how it can lead to dead roots. All he offered in return, "sorry" and a bag a candy. He may have a bunch of positive reviews but ask yourself - is a 1 out of 70 chance worth your money and more importantly your child's happiness? There are plenty of other better orthodontists - this guy is an over educated soldering iron handler at best. read more

Both of my kids are current patients of Dr. Benham, one of them on his second set of braces. They love Dr. Benham and so do I. He and his staff are totally committed to an outstanding patient experience in every aspect of treatment. The office is comfortable and welcoming to kids and adults; it's loaded with amenities like a video game room and a beverage bar that make it a pleasant place to visit for all ages. The staff is friendly and professional. Scheduling appointments is easy and they are always understanding and accommodating about schedule changes and emergency visits. The technicians are competent, well-trained and thorough; they prioritize patient comfort and proper treatment. They never rush or cut corners, no matter how busy the office is or how far into their lunch break the appointment has run, and my kids' well-being is their only focus. Dr. Benham is an amazing doctor. His only goal is to take excellent care of his patients. He is extremely skillful and knowledgeable and the technology and treatment plans are the very best available. In addition to his professional capability, he is an absolute pleasure to work with. He handles challenging and complicated cases with a calm competence that is very reassuring to kids and parents. He has a gentle, laid-back demeanor that is soothing to patients who are nervous or scared; he listens and answers questions truthfully, thoroughly and unhurriedly. He's especially good with children; he's so caring and compassionate, and he's never fake or patronizing with them. I've never met a doctor with less ego or a more kind, generous personality. When your child gets his/her braces removed, there is a "braces off party" complete with gummy bears, jelly beans, and other foods that were off limits during treatment. There are contests, prizes, parties -- all complimentary. Also, Dr. Benham sponsors many local teams and clubs and donates time and resources to many excellent causes. He gives his patients beautiful smiles - and gives them lots and lots of reasons to show them. I unreservedly recommend Benham Orthodontics to people of any age seeking the very best orthodontic experience possible. You will not be disappointed! read more

Wonderful experience with Dr. Benham and his staff. Very professional, friendly, and great results after just one year!

My son William went to see Dr. Benham and his staff. Our entire family was impressed how friendly the entire staff was and primarily my son, since he was going to have to be the one in braces. They explained the entire 'braces procedure' and what William would entail, how long, insurance costs, etc. What my son loved a lot, besides Dr. Benham and the staff was the video games and the Benham bucks. He makes sure he wears his shirt every time he goes. We have since recommended a friend there and will continue to do so. This is a great place for a kid or an adult to have their teeth straightened! read more
