I recently visited this establishment and was incredibly disappointed. Firstly, as I am unable to eat spicy food, I asked the waiter about menu items that I thought wouldn't be spicy based on my previous visit there. However, he was very unhelpful and just said "it's spice". Therefore I opted for the safe option of a fillet steak. However, what I received on my plate, definitely wasn't a fillet steak, and I'm pretty certain it was a beaten pork chop! (My Jewish grandmother would have been furious might I add!).
It was cut up into random pieces and completely covered in mushrooms and onions. As I was with a large party, I opted not to create a scene and somewhat begrudgingly ate it. Perhaps I was being a little paranoid, but I got the distinct impression that the waiting staff knew exactly what I had received, and the original unhelpful waiter even had the audacity to approach me, rather smugly, and ask how I was finding my fillet steak! Needless to say, I doubt I shall ever return to this restaurant again. Based on this experience, the 1 star rating is fully justified.
I found it really disappointing, as on my one previous visit to the restaurant, I had a very friendly waiter that went out of his way to accommodate my health needs and suggested a very tasty lamb chop dish. So if any of your party are unable to eat spicy food, I'd unfortunately recommend steering well clear of this restaurant! read more
