Both the output and guarantee were the best in the industry. I contacted PowerHouse Solar because they were listed as an "elite" SunPower dealer. I couldn't be more pleased with that decision. The owner, Bruce Blake and his sight manager, Garrett came to our home and evaluated our damages. They were thorough, knowledgeable and very professional in their evaluation. After getting approval by the insurance adjusters I gave them the go ahead. Approximately four weeks later they installed the new array and did an outstanding job. The installation took slightly more than one day and included the removal and recycling of the old system and installation of 21 new panels and the required rails by a team of six technicians. All team members were polite and professional and went the extra mile in terms of being helpful and efficient. They actually left the work sight cleaner than when they started! The new system is working exactly as described and should reduce our energy costs to about zero. We have built homes and remodeled over the years which is often fraught with delays and missed deadlines. NONE of that was an issue with PowerHouse Solar. They did everything that was expected and more! If I could give them six stars I would! Thank you for a job well done!

Of course the water heater blows on a Saturday night. I started making calls at 7:00 am Monday morning. After having the stoner with the Amsterdam bumper sticker from one shop give me a very bloated estimate on what it costs to replace a standard water heater, I started thinking why not upgrade to a tankless or solar system? BNB Solar was the voice of reason. I had a couple of pricey quotes from local companies on what various systems would cost me, and then I got a call back from BNB Solar. They said they couldn't set me up with solar right away, but if I could get a new propane water heater installed, they would come and help me tie it in to a solar system for a very reasonable price when their schedule allowed. People need their hot water. Tomorrow I'll be calling Home Depot. I'll let you know how it goes.

The main service panel was upgraded and the coordination with the electrical contractor, county permitting, PG&E, and the solar installation team was seamless. They put holes in the ceilings and didn't patch them up, i had to.. The vents are uneven where they installed the inside filter looks so crappy my four-year-old could've done better. They actually used the breakers/fuse to my power outlets to my plugs in the house so half of my plugs in the house don't work anymore instead of putting in a different/larger breaker, Pg&e came out and flagged my gas because they hooked it up wrong , Pg&e had to come in and redo the whole gas line, never once did I get a call from Managment, bosses, nobody they will call and make me do my appointments because I prepaid for the service, and threaten me with voiding my warranty.. but actually getting customer service is nonexistent . Now that they have my money, it doesn't really matter to them. If I had the funds, I would 100% take them to court !!!! If you want to save yourself money and a headache do not use this company! As a single mom paying $16,000 for a new HVAC system and getting the crappies job done is heartbreaking. Unfortunately the loan is through a third-party so they got paid for their horrible job while I am paying out of pocket to fix their mess.
