The lady who answered the phone and took the order for my sons homecoming date flowers was very nice. The wrist corsage turn out pretty. The only thing is I did not notice until the corsage was home was that one of the roses had a little bit of brown around one of the petals. Overall the corsage was beautiful and the price was great! I was able to take that one petal off that had a little bit of brown on it. :) -update- I changed my review to a 5 star because after I made my review Art contacted me to let me know he appreciated our business - in fact, that means a lot these days! We will return for flowers in the future! What a great overall experience! read more

WOW! I am beyond impressed and it takes a lot to impress , I'm really picky when it comes to flowers. I ordered special personalized flower pots for teachers day. I brought the flower pots in and showed them a photo of what I wanted them to make up. They did exactly what I wanted. I told them I wanted the flowers fresh and full. Angelica assisted me and Carmen is beyond the best!!! The teachers that received these arrangement were beyond happy. Thank you Beneva Flowers!!! read more

Ordered flowers on Wednesday for Mothers Day (Sunday) to be delivered on Saturday. Flowers arrived on Thursday, the day after we ordered. Not terrible but definitely annoying. Mom loved the flowers, they are beautiful. Called florist to alert them to the error. They offered to retrieve and redeliver. Right. She apologized. She explained that Mothers Day is a busy time. Right. Maybe if you're in the flower business you get your act together and use a day by day list of who gets what, no? We asked for some sort of adjustment and she offered to remove the delivery charge. Fair enough. We have used Beneva a few times before and the flowers are consistently good. A bit expensive yet we return. Next time we may try another florist who has their act together better. read more

I've used Beneva Flowers for flower arrangements for the past 10 years. In almost all cases, the arrangements I ordered were lovely and what I expected. Unfortunately, I will no longer be using them as my florist. I went into the shop to order a low flower arrangement for my mother's 80th surprise party and 2 balloon arrangements. The person I worked with was very nice and she asked me about colors and then recommended blue dendrobium orchids which are really aqua and purple. We asked that the primary flower be the orchids, but to add some white flowers and some silver curley cues that we had seen in one of the new years arrangements. She took our order and checked with someone in the design area to make sure the orchids could be ordered and received in time for the party. She was told no problem. At that point we also mentioned we wanted to order 2 balloon arrangements, but the shop did not have any of the colors we wanted in the latex and they only had 2 Mylar balloons that were not the right color scheme. It was suggested that we go to Party City to purchase the balloons and then come on after the holidays to drop off the balloons and finalize the balloon order. I did return on Tuesday, Jan 3rd, and the woman I originally worked with had the day off. I had spoken to her the day before and she said she saved the order and I could work with anyone. The young woman looked for the order and when found said it was a white flower arrangement. I explained that no, it was to be a low arrangement of dendrobium orchids with a little bit of white and silver. She said she had never heard of those flowers before and when to the floral area to see if anyone had more info. She came back and started helping another customer. She claimed I seemed to be upset and she couldn't help me. I was not upset, however I was concerned that the party was on the 7th and Beneva Flowers did not seem to have a good handle on the flower order. The young woman then went and got someone from customer service who came out, got my info and then went back to the floral area to confirm that my order would have dendrobium orchids in it and that they had been ordered. I also gave her the balloons we purchased and confirmed that the 2 balloon arrangements were to be 7ft tall, each with a Mylar balloon and then 6 or more latex balloons. I asked that they make the arrangements as full as possible and that they had 45 latex balloons to work with. They are the experienced ones, use their discretion. I called back on Jan 4th to confirm with the original woman who took my order that all was set with the order of flowers and balloons. She confirmed. On Saturday, Jan 7 around 1:45pm i heard from Mandy that one of the Mylar balloons broke. They wanted to know what they should do. I said use the balloons that were left to make the arrangement, as i did not have a Mylar ballon to give them. She said they did and sent me a picture. Again, I said to use their discretion and to please make the bouquets as full as possible. Saturday evening I arrived at the venue to find a totally white arrangement with no orchids on the table. While nice, it looked like something you might see on a coffin or at a wedding, and it was certainly not what I ordered. It was way to formal and white and sadly blended right into the white tablecloth. The balloons were not a full arrangement at all.... 1 Mylar and 6 latex and they sat on chairs in the corners of the room as the weights could not reach the floor. I called the florist on Monday morning and spoke to the first woman i gave the order to. She apologized and took down my info and said customer service would get back to me. The first customer service person called me and apologized. She said the information about my order was in the wrong area of the order and the designer did not see it. I was flabbergasted. I asked if my money could be returned and she said she would have to have the manager call me. Mandy the manager called me, said she was sorry, and offered to send my mother the correct flowers and give me an e voucher for a future purchase. I stated that there would be no future purchase and requested a refund. All mentions of this incident were made as if this was just as silly matter and sh*t happens. For me personally, it ruined my evening as the event organizer and my mom never got to experience and keep the orchids I knew she would love and want to eventually use in a painting. I can not recommend Beneva Flowers anymore and I will go elsewhere for my floral needs. Truly let down and disappointed by this whole experience. read more

Beneva flowers needs to be your go-to for all of your flower and plant needs! Their selection is superb and always fresh. We order flowers and plants numerous times per year for business events so I have personally dealt with their customer service representatives, billing department and delivery drivers on many occasions. Each and every employee is always attentive to our needs, helpful in choosing an arrangement and always on time and effecient with deliveries. My lastest delivery exceeded my expectations so much and is the reason for this review. I have attached a photo of the beautiful corn plants for the office. read more

I am very impressed with the business practices of Beneva Flowers. A bouquet I had ordered for a friend in the hospital was signed for at the hospital - but never made it to my friend! He was on a general unit where flowers were allowed- but at some point had been transferred to ICU (unbeknownst to us) where flower delivery was not allowed. We never did find out where the flowers ended up! The staff at Beneva immediately refunded our money, however, even though the bouquet was signed for by staff at the hospital. If we ever need to order flowers in Sarasota again we will absolutely use Beneva! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. The entire company is rude, greedy and downright two faced. Seeing this as a customer, it is a very poor business. The creations are sub par compared to other florists in the area. I highly recommend you look elsewhere at places that actually care for their customers and no, you can't fix this. Not to mention the outrageous prices. They made my worst day even worse after losing someone. Mandi puts on a nice smile and voice only to turn and manipulate you to make more money. Dirty business. Its the day after Valentines day!!! I just received yesterdays flowers!! My partner placed the order 2 weeks ago (he is traveling) and so upset I didn't get the Valentine roses. Beneva, insisted I signed for them, yesterday @9:40 pm (I was still at work). Meanwhile there is no record with my building gate guard. (Obviously, Beneva's story, BS!!!) So, they said they would deliver the flowers today. Feedup, my partner cancelled the order, they delivered the roses anyway, today, a bit wilted and bittersweet. (I hope they don't charge my partner.) 1 star is generous ... tho the word is out! This florist used to be a 4 star. Including recent reviews, they seem to have no brakes on a steep decline downward. read more

Beneva Flowers saved my sister's wedding. She ordered her bouquet from a local competitor, providing a photo of the arrangement she wanted and it was her one big splurge item for her wedding. The flowers arrived mid day Saturday for a Sunday evening wedding. The orchid bouquet she requested was mostly spray painted green hydrangeas and by Sunday morning the orchids had wilted and browned because the only water supply was for the hydrangeas. Beneva Flowers is open 7 days a week and their designer Wayne was amazing. We showed him the bouquet we had and the pic of the bouquet that was ordered. He brought out the orchids Beneva had onsite and they were beautiful, there was no doubt that we needed to order a whole new bouquet as the other orchids were too damaged. Beneva Flowers went above and beyond to make the bouquet perfect, it was a rush order, they didn't gouge us on price (less than the competitor for superior quality) and added a complimentary boutonnière since the one from the competitor did not match the bouquet. Exceeded my expectations! Beneva delivered the beautiful lily arrangement (see picture) to my friend in Sarasota following a difficult family loss. The friend was so impressed she sent me a picture via text. This marks the first time I have ever sent an arrangement via an out of state florist (I'm in Ohio) where the delivered flowers were more incredible than the picture on their website. There is not ONE negative thing I could say about this vendor! Their floral creations are actually still one of the most favorite things about my wedding!!! I was very nervous about flowers because I am a bit obsessed with them. I had picked out some flowers I wanted, color swatches of my wedding colors and a few ideas about the bouquets and center pieces. Doris listened to all my dreams of the bright colorful flowers I imagined and my budget. She helped me pick flowers that were the colors I wanted, very unique, a bit extravagant, versatile (used at both the ceremony and reception) and within my budget. My groom and parents appreciate how they found a way to give me what I dreamed of and so much MORE without breaking the budget. My flowers were so vibrant and gorgeous that everyone commented on them at the wedding and still to this day (1 1/2 years later). They looked almost as stunning as me. :) Seriously the people at Beneva are a talented, friendly group of people that make you feel so comfortable that you know they will not let you down. They hooked my mom up with a gorgeous arrangement for Mother's Day! She lives in Sarasota; I live in California, so I needed a delivery.
