I was so disappointed in the wrist corsage I ordered for my 94 yr old mother's birthday. She is in a memory home, so I asked for it to be bright and fragrant, and that it was with 1 big yellow rose. However it was so sparse and poorly made my sister had to attach it to the elastic wrist band by wrapping the ribbon and tying it on. I live out of state and asked for it to be delivered. My heart sunk when I received a picture of it! Of all the beautiful wrist corsages we've gotten for Mama, this was a total let down. I called the florist to let them know how we felt before I posted this review, and all I heard was excuses with no apologies. I was told they don't really do wrist corsages and they were doing me a favor to deliver it. I wish I was told that when I chose a local florist and asked if they could make a corsage. I won't be using this business again. I'll ask my brother what Bradenton florist he used for the pretty one he got her last year. read more

I ordered a large boquet of flowers to be sent to my mom for her 90th birthday, since I could not be there in person, thanks to COVID. I also ordered a bunch of balloons and a teddy bear to go with the boquet, which she loved. Her favorite thing was the teddy bear! The only downside is that only one balloon was sent instead of several and I only realized it when I asked about the balloons. However, Mom loved it so much and said she didn't want anymore ballons, so it all worked out very well. In the future, I will definitely order flowers from "Flowers by Edie," for special occasions for my mother, and recommend their service to others. These people were so amazing and patient. I sent a flower arrangement for someone in hospital who was discharged. I feel like I sent these people on a wild goose chase after that for a couple of days for a 40.00 arrangement mark was so pleasant and patient after several attempts trying to deliver these flowers. at one point I felt so bad I was ready to say just give them to whomever, but his attitude was so great and reassuring. Recently ordered wedding flowers. The bouquets were nice but the flowers were a little on the old side. Roses already turning brown, For the price they should have been fresher. The centerpiece looked as though it should drape a coffin. I didn't bother to say a word because Edie herself is not friendly. Thanks for wasting our money. Which was a lot. Very efficient, reliable and ask relevant questions such as size/flower preference and height (low or tall arrangement). $10 dollar local delivery fee is normal, but I believe you get a great value for the budget you provide. I live in California, and had ordered flowers from Edie's in the past for my mom in Florida, and they were always lovely. So when my father passed and I needed to help my mom with arrangements, Edie's was my first choice. They did an even more lovely job than I expected. I gave general design guidelines, and pointed out arrangements I liked on their website. They customized the arrangements to the colors and flowers we preferred, and the results were gorgeous. The roses especially were spectacular--large, lush, and very fresh. The arrangement they designed for in front of the podium was very elegant, and proportioned just right to be visible vertically from it's position on the floor in front of the alter. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and talented. They stayed in contact throughout the process, and managed delivery perfectly so we had no worries. And the price was extremely reasonable.
