Bee Ridge Florist is 10/10. Today I arrived at 3:15pm unaware of the new summer hours in which the shop closes at 3:00pm. Devyn saw me in the parking lot and reopened the shop to assist me. That is top notch service. Not only was Devyn kind and patient with me, she also created the custom bouquet (pictured) with ease. The price is fair and the quality is even more supreme. Thank you Devyn! Bee Ridge Florist is superb. read more

Bee Ridge Florist - Custom bouquet by Devyn - Florists Near Me

I called with a mid-afternoon request to have a flower arrangement created as a gift for my sister's birthday the same day. I usually plan ahead but being away a few days prior to her birthday threw me off a bit. I wanted to try a new (to me-well anything is really new because I am new around here) local florist and I was pleasantly surprised. was told that some flowers they typically had (per the website) were not available but that she could start an arrangement and I could meet her at the shop to explain what I could like in the arrangement from the flowers they had in the case. When I got there I was greeted warmly and the women working were so personable and took my requests to heart. The delivery driver who stopped on to pick up arrangements to deliver out was extremely nice as well. I can tell this florist cares about delivering a quality and aesthetically pleasing product. I was provided with a beautiful assortment of a variety of flowers and colors with added height accents for visual interest. I will continue to use them again and again. Thank you, Bee Ridge Florist, for your kindness and delivery of a great product. read more

Easy to order, on time and reasonably priced. They sent me a VM when delivered and because there was no one home, they even took a pic and sent it to me to show it was safe in the shadows (it's Florida, so that's a big deal). So I got to see the arrangement and it looked beautiful and fresh! My friend loved it. Would def order again! Thanks Bee Ridge, it's hard to order when you don't know the company...you came through! read more

Bee Ridge Florist - Florists Near Me

Bee Ridge Florist saved the DAY! and saved Mother's Day!!! Let me tell you about it... I live in NY and my Mum lives in Florida... Like many people, I ordered my usual arrangement through 1800 Flowers on May 5th, for delivery on May 7th.. with 2 days to spare before Mother's Day. Like so many patrons have complained of, 1800 Flowers did NOT deliver the order and promised that it would be delivered on Sat. May 8th. They failed and I was left angry and helpless at 8:30 pm - the night before Mother's Day. What florist would be able to add a delivery on Mother's Day at nearly 9 pm the night before? Impossible... Every search yielded deliveries for May 11, May 12, May 14th...far after Mother's Day. I took a chance after frantically searching through local florists and placed an order with Bee Ridge - for a delivery on Monday 5/10 - as their shop listed closed on Sunday's. I accepted that this would be the best that I could get given the circumstances. My son then spoke with his Nana on Mother's Day - and she tells him - "The flowers are gorgeous!".. I thought that 1800 Flowers came through with their delayed delivery - so I emailed Bee Ridge and asked them to cancel my order for Monday 5/10. I then received a call and email on Monday 5/10 from Bee Ridge that informed me -- it was their flowers! They didn't want the day ruined and they got this delivery out to my Mum on Mother's Day. I don't know how they did it! I will be forever grateful to Bee Ridge Florist's team for going above and beyond. This kind of dedication is truly hard to find. Thank you Barbara and everyone at Bee Ridge! Highly recommend for those in the Sarasota and surrounding areas! read more

The staff at Bee Ridge was incredibly supportive and communicative, even during on of the busiest weeks of their year. We are especially grateful to Barbara who was so kind and patient and to Schuyler who helped us with late adjustments. read more

The previous owners were very good we used them for over eighteen years, several times weekly for our business. The new owner came in with a major attitude! Tripled pricing and lessened the quality. Very disappointed in the new ownership, their business will suffer severely if she stays as a spokesperson for her own brand. Major attitude. read more

The best flower arrangements professionals in Florida! I recently used them twice and both times the flowers were gorgeously arranged.I have sent my family to use their services and we all are now loyal customers for events and special occasions .The owner and staff are extremely patient and listen to the needs of their customers. The prices were great for the Quality of their professional services with all the arrangements. Need flowers for your wedding, GO HERE!!! I was a little hesitant when I was deciding who to go with for flowers for my wedding because of some of the negative yelp reviews, but I'm SO HAPPY I chose Bee Ridge Florist for several reasons. First, make sure you get PAULA WISE to help you with your flowers. She is so awesome and did an amazing job. She spent over an hour with my family and I helping us decide every specific detail about our flower arrangements and bouquet. I think I asked her the same question 5 times and she was soooo patient with me. She was really honest with her feedback and her recommendations weren't based on doing what is the most expensive. She also was really clear with pricing which is huge for me cause I had a very specific budget for my wedding flowers. A different florist kept giving me a huge price range and couldn't tell me exactly how much each flower arrangement would cost which was extremely frustrating. Paula didn't dance around with numbers and was crystal clear with the cost which were very affordable compared to other florists. I am very confident that you will have a great experience with Bee Ridge Florist. If you give them pictures and details of exactly what you want, they can deliver. I am extremely happy with the pricing and service. Paula is fabulous!!!! read more

I remembered my mothers birthday at the last minute and turned to google for florists in Sarasota. I was a little hesitant since I was ordering on the phone from Miami and wasn't sure what kind of arrangement they would end up delivering. After a short chat with the man from Bee Ridge he said he got an idea of what to send my mom and we hung up. I explained I wanted something really nice since she use to own a flower shop a few years ago and that she loves purple. Well they managed to get my mom her flowers less than 24 hours later and she loved them. Not only that, but they were also very beautiful...much prettier than I had hoped! I would like to add that my mothers birthday is today, the day before Valentines day. I'm very happy that they could come through the day before one of the busiest holidays for a florist. read more

Flowers are just exquisite and super fresh! Adding to the experience was Shawn. He not only called to confirm I'd be home for the delivery and checked in with me once he was at the gate so I wasn't caught off guard, this man is sunshine personified! Every interaction was infused with kindness and professionalism. I am not sure what put a bigger smile on my face, the gorgeous arrangement or the exceptional customer experience that Shawn served up with his delivery. Thank you Shawn and Bee Ridge Florist! read more

I went online to find a florist locally where my parents live in Sarasota. Loved the reviews I read here on Yelp about them. Ordered my Mum a Fall arrangement for her 70th Bday this week. They were delivered the next day, as I requested, and they are gorgeous! She loves them, and already knew about them locally. Very, very pleased! Will definitely use them again! read more

The staff was incredibly unfriendly. A huge downer all the attitude. On top of that: *They lost our initial payment, only to realize a week later that it was their mistake. All the staff was rude about this issue. *They quoted three type of flowers for the bride's bouquet but only included two. * They decided to change the size of the requested floral arrangements without any notice. Overall they seem to be interested in finding items to charge and / or overcharge more than providing a decent service. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewere for any type of event. read more

Since the birth of my niece 6 years ago I have regularly contacted Bee Ridge Florists for holidays, illnesses, and special occasions. Hey! Well, after a several 800 # birthday bouquets gone bad... and mom asking over and over "Why don't you just order from Bee Ridge?! They are the best in town!" I finally wised up and starting making all of my mom's special occasion flower orders through Bee Ridge. She has always been blown away by the quality and beauty of each arrangement. And, I have been blown away by the value and the super nice, go the extra mile stance of the staff and owners! My mom is 90. And, one of her favorite things to do is drop by Bee Ridge and gush to them what a great job they do. Mom had another round of cancer awhile ago that she recovered from, so I decided to create a standing order... since every day is a special occasion now. The shop was super helpful in setting that up. And, she is over the moon with the attention and beauty she receives every week. It's my mom, she's worth it! They know it and the bouquets show it. Every Friday, she just glows. Thanks again BRF!! You ROCK! read more

RUDE RECEPTIONIST! Chastized for getting floral arrangements quotes from multiple florists. Seriously?! The best always welcome competition and the opportunity to prove why they are the best choice! Anyone who has planned an event knows that! Shockingly unprofessional given all of the high reviews here. FYI they are also known as All Event Rental and Design - same unprofessional treatment there because the same person answers the phone (even though there are different phone numbers). read more

I came in last Wednesday and Serene was incredibly sweet and helpful. It was a tad uncomfortable though because another older woman was being very abrasive and condescending to the woman helping me. I have been unable to visit my Mother in her assisted living apartment, so I have started sending her bouquets from Bee Ridge Florist every couple weeks. Each one has been gorgeous! My mom is an artist and really appreciates the colorful and fragrant bouquets. I keep waiting for her to tell me to stop....but she hasn't yet! So, I guess I will be ordering another in a couple weeks. This one had snap dragons, lilies, roses, and hydrangeas. It was stunning. She always sends me pictures. read more

My husband sent me a "special" bouquet for our 1st anniversary. He called and ordered a special arrangement, wanting it to look impressive for $325.00 The flowers consisted of carnations, roses and Lillie's. It looked like nothing more than a couple of $10.00 bouquets from the grocery store. When I complained the owner became saying " what do you want? Exotic or quantity? Well, for 325.00 I would expect both. They are rude, unreasonable and untalented. We paid the bill, and will never return. Don't waste your money!!! read more

1/24/2011. We are very pleased with all aspects of dealing with this shop. Our order was taken correctly, delivery was excellent and the flowers were beautiful and well received by the customer. We recommend this shop without hesitation or reservation. They will receive our local business going forward. UPDATE: 1/2/2012. Their performance last year was superb. Today I talked to Carl, shop owner, and placed a new order. Order entry went as well as last year. I love a good shop! read more

I always have the best experience with this florist. They are prices great, fast delivery, and their staff are very friendly.

I took my son there so he could pick out the flowers for his first Homecoming dance date. They were very patient and helpful, patient is the main thing since he had never bought flowers before and had no idea what he wanted. They made this the best experience for him. The flowers were gorgeous and we were very happy with our experience. I would highly recommend them. read more

My experience here is overwhelmingly good! Flowers are outstanding as is delivery. When I get a chance to see what is delivered, I am often astounded at the beauty and quantity. I first learned of them when I received a vase of flowers as a gift. WOW! is all I can say. Amazingly fair prices, and some interesting little baskets and rose-head flat arrangements make for easy shopping at many prices. They also always have fresh roses at $5.98 a dozen in many colors. Drop in and treat yourself once in a while.. read more

We hired these people for our wedding. Bee Ridge did not show us our flower arrangements until the day before the wedding. They were.. not what we were expecting, at all. The colors were all wrong. They decided it would be appropriate to make things look Christmas-like, because our wedding was on Dec. 19th. It caused my fiance just a terrible amount of stress, the day before the wedding. We called around and ended up buying another $500 worth of flowers from a competing florist to fix the problem. Bee Ridge painted some of the flowers they had and we redid all of the arrangements at the last minute. One of our bridesmaids had to micro-manage the arrangements. Furthermore, Bee Ridge refused to reimburse us for any of the money we had to spend to fix these issues. Pictures are worth a thousand words. As soon as I figure out how to add before and after pics of our flower arrangements, I will happily add them to this review. read more

I am shocked and appalled by the way I was treated by Bee Ridge Florist and @alleventrental&design. They are one in the same don't be fooled!! I have been calling around to get info for wedding flower arrangements. I had no idea they were the same company. I set up an appointment with All Event Rental & Design to see what they had to offer. I then called Bee Ridge Florist (Two different phone numbers) to see what they had to offer. When they transferred me to speak with an agent it was the same one as from All Events. It is a shame i didn't get her name but WOW!!! How unprofessional and rude. The treatment I received was appalling. She told me that I was unprofessional for shopping around for a florist. That it was unprofessional to waste their time getting a quote and that you should only work with one person. News flash rude lady!!!! People shop around to get quotes. Don't think you are the best around there may be others better than you!! I can guarantee that my business will not be with them and I will spread the word about their UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE & DISGUSTING ATTITUDE. I wish that I could give ZERO STARS!!! It was just discussting!!! read more

I've never been to this florist before, and I will never go back. My friend who is getting married was looking for ideas/guidance for bouquets and arrangements, and the help of someone who is experienced in weddings. We came from Indiana to have a wedding in Siesta Key. After doing some research I chose Bee Ridge to be our florist. There were some emails and phone calls exchanged and all seemed well. When we arrived before the wedding we had discovered there were a few miscommunications. Although we had these Barbara was able to finish all of the flowers for my brides wedding in a record time and they were ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! I suggest anyone to use them. The staff is awesome the flowers are beautiful and it was a great price! We'll be back! Thanks Barbara and all of the staff at Bee Ridge Florist for all of your help and hard work! read more

I went in for the 25 roses for $10 special. The woman who waited on me was very helpful in assisting me in selecting 3 colors as I wanted 70 roses for a birthday gift, and she even went to the trouble of getting some additional colors out of the back room refrigerator. This is an unbelievably good price for what was a very impressive bouquet for my friend. She was thrilled. The only thing one should be aware of is that due to the low price, these roses are sold "as-is", which means that some stems may be broken - 3 were unusable in my 3 bouquets - certainly acceptable, but just be aware of this in case you need an exact amount of usable stems. Also, if you want them to be unpackaged and put in a clear piece of plastic, the cost changes to $5.98 per dozen ($5.88 for my order), and, understandably at this low price, greens and baby breath are extra as well. Overall, a great buy! read more

I hate everything about this florist. They are so rude to their customers it's disgusting when they charge top dollar for something as cheap as a carnation.
