Awful delivery service and the flowers literally never arrived. Never go here.

There aren't very many perks, if any, to being sick but a beautiful flower arrangement is definitely one!!! For awhile my husband and the delivery guy were on a first name basis. Every single arrangement was spectacular! There's a reason everyone who has lived here awhile recommends Beneva Florist. read more

I ordered flowers for my mom's birthday and they turned out beautifully! They did exactly what I requested. I live in LA, so I was hoping this was a good florist and they wouldn't send a cheesy arrangement. They did such an excellent job. It looked classic, stylish, and beautiful. They really heard what I wanted and delivered. read more

Friendly service in person and over the phone. I used this company twice and they did not let me down. The flowers arrived timely and my significant other loved them! The arrangements were made with fresh flowers and arranged perfectly. read more

Ordering flowers always gives me anxiety. I know. It shouldn't. They're just flowers, right? But all it takes is spending good money on your mom's flowers only to have them show up 4 days after her birthday, and already partially wilting. On Friday night (last minute of course) I thought "Maybe I should order flowers for this person..." Immediately thought, "Ugh. They'll never get there by tomorrow. And I'm worried they're going to be a teddy bear mylar balloon when I ordered calla lilies." But I took the plunge. I'm gonna try this ONE MORE TIME. Beneva Flowers came through in a big way. Everything was immediate. And the flowers that showed up were incredibly beautiful, fresh, and obviously just arranged. The recipient is used to the good things, so that added an additional worry, but she was so happy, everyone ooohed and aahhhhed. I even looked at them and thought, "That's what I ordered??" (in a good way) Beneva has restored my faith in flower delivery, and made me realize there's life after being gravely disappointed by one of those nation-wide dispatch flower 1800 things. Thank you Beneva! read more

We have been a very satisfied customer of Beneva Flowers for just over 20 years! The staff is amazing and the flower selection is so wonderful that we never ever had a problem finding a selection. Wow! I had the best experience working with Annie with Beneva Weddings!! Our wedding is in May 2020... and while I haven't seen their finished product yet, the first planning meeting and follow-up email was beyond professional and informative. We live in Texas and it's such a relief to know this piece of our wedding planning is in good hands with Annie and the Beneva Team. Annie was able to pull up pictures of my ideas and she kept running out to her flower inventory and bringing my vision to life with arrangement examples ON THE SPOT. She was able to give me prices right away as I listed my ideas. I truly can't believe how easy the process was. She was patient and kind and she really listened to my vision. Thank you Annie! :-) read more

I use Beneva every year to send flowers to my mother. She always loves the arrangement, it is always delivered on time! Beneva has a more personal touch than just picking a random on-line flower company. They are great to work with! read more

Amazing to work with by phone for a special birthday delivery, incredibly helpful for a last minute order, and the arrangement exceeded all my expectations and thrilled the recipient. I asked for bouquet with star gazer lilies, and that it be amazing - the gentleman I spoke with was delightful to work with - the flowers, well just beyond what I had hoped for. A wonderful florist and experience. read more

No matter where I am sending flowers, I only use Beneva Florist. Love the choices and the service that I always get.

I send my mum flowers on a pretty regular bases. My experience with Beneva Flowers has been smooth, easy, and very satisfied with the end result. I am making them my go to flower source when having floral deliveries in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. read more

Wow! I missed a friend's birthday and placed a last minute order with Beneva Flowers. The arrangement that arrived was spectacular. So lovely, my friend said she couldn't decide which side of the arrangement to photograph. The company was responsive, friendly, and professional. I have used Pro Flowers in the past, but will forever more go local and use Beneva Flowers. I love to support a great company and Beneva Flowers has my attention for sure. Thank you for being so terrific! read more

I just received a floral arrangement as a gift. There were green, red, and black berries that I was unfamiliar with so I called the florist. After asking what the berries might be, I was put on hold. The person came back on and said the berries were hypericum. I then asked if they were poisonous because I was worried about kids or dogs possibly managing to eat some. I was put on hold again, and while I was waiting I researched them on the internet. (Yes, I was on hold that long). Finally I was told the berries are similar to St, John's Wort. I said they can be poisonous and are actually listed as such on the ASPCA website. The response was "maybe if they eat a lot". Really? If Beneva is going to include poisonous items in their arrangements, they definitely should inform the sender/buyer and give them the option of changing their selection, and include that information on a card with the arrangement so the recipient can be aware of the potential hazard. read more

Terrible customer service. Did not bother to call after missing the delivery date or after leaving a message to check on the order status. Refused to take responsibility for the problem. Manager was rude and disrespectful. Clearly had not begun the order yet and was plenty happy just to cancel my order instead of finding a solution. read more

I used Beneva flowers as I am out of state. I originally went with an online company that was not able to fulfill my order. I placed the order, paid extra for delivery, but they still were not able to do it. Beneva flowers were absolutely wonderful in helping me out of my bind. They were able to get the flowers delivered and they were absolutely gorgeous! I can NOT thank you enough for caring and going so far above and beyond! Thank you times a million! Wonderful company, amazing products, goes above and beyond!!! Thank you very very much! read more

Ordered a plant Saturday and paid extra for guaranteed Sunday delivery... Sunday plant was never delivered, Monday plant was never delivered, and now on Tuesday they've sent the plant to the wrong address. After calling to let them know the gift had not been received and I'd like my money back for the Sunday fee they claimed to be closed for the day and would get back to me tomorrow... still have not had anyone contact me. Definitely recommend staying far away from this company. Terrible service all around. read more

More than I could ever ask for. The staff is so polite and well mannered you could not be treated better. They really deliver 24 hours as I asked for delivery at 8am and not only was it there on time, the roses lasted 2 weeks! Never saw anything like this. The flowers are very unique and as far as roses go, never saw better quality. Thank you! read more

The worst Florest I have ever delt with. My mothers 90th birthday a major milestone and after ordering delivery was not met. Upon calling they told me it was not a priority. Then to make the insult worse they delivered the flowers to the wrong address and expected a 90 year old woman to go pick them up. No one should do business with this company. UPDATE: 10-23-15 I spoke to the owner (Art) who contacted me after this post. He was very apologetic and explained a series of errors that occurred. He has offered to make it right by sending flowers to my mother today. While it was a frustrating experience I am glad to see an owner who takes pride in their customer service and will go out of their way to do the right thing for the customer. As a result I endorse Beneva Flowers and amend my rating. read more

I ordered a value flower arrangement to to be sent my doctors office last week. It was there within 2 hours. When I went to the office yesterday the nurses and even the MD were raving about it. They even took pictures of it ! I have used this flower shop several times in the past. they are always helpful, flowers, products always beautiful. read more

Thank you Beneva Flowers for the beautiful arrangements and beyond great service. When the gorgeous flowers that my brother ordered after my fathers passing started to fade a few days after delivery, you sent a new bouquet which helped alleviate the pain of my grieving mother. Great customer service for long distance order! I had to make a last minute change to the delivery date (my fault), and they were super responsive. They were able to get the delivery out the same day I reached out for help. Super service! Would definitely use them again. read more

Unbelievable service!!!!!! From the moment we walked in ...amazing service. We walked in with our wedding one week away.... every employee who walked passed us asked if they could help. It was very busy week before Valentine's Day but we felt like the only people there. They spent time just understanding exactly what we wanted for our special day and as we walked out we felt totally confident that they would finish off our wedding day perfectly! Can not wait to see the magic they are going to make happen! read more

For the past 20 years, my brother and I have been sending flowers to my mother for various holidays and special occasions. Prior to the Internet, we had to rely on Beneva Flowers and the results were always iffy.....sometimes great, sometimes awful. Many times my mother would say that the flowers died within 1-2 days of delivery. Not ok for a a $50-100 arrangement. read more

I had ordered flowers through Beneva Flowers to be delivered to a family member. When I saw a picture of the actual flowers delivered, I was disappointed so I notified Beneva. I asked for a refund, or even a partial refund because the flowers delivered didn't look like what I paid for. However, the best Beneva could do for me was offer me a gift card for my next order! I turned it down because I told them that the gift card would be useless for me since I wasn't going to order flowers from them again. I want a refund or a partial refund instead. And the response I got was, "I don't see how a refund would solve the problem." But a gift card, that I can't use, will? I am so disappointed and appalled by all this that I highly discourage anyone from doing business with Beneva Flowers. On their website you'll find the slogans, "Exceeding Expectations" and "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed." But sadly .... that's not true at all. read more

My wife always insists on Beneva Flowers. When I found out she was pregnant , I talked to the staff about having a bouquet made for Mother's Day. When ordering flowers for a funeral service that is out of town there is always the concern that the arrangement will not turn out to be what you thought you ordered. After placing my phone order yesterday and requesting quite a few specific things I'm so excited to see by a photo (provided by a family member there) that the finished product turned out wonderful and was exactly what was discussed on the phone. Thank you to who I believe was Angelica for helping me order this beautiful arrangement at a very difficult time for our family. read more

Flowers lasted 2 days! Nice arrangement for my wedding anniversary but most flowers in the arrangement were dead within a couple of days. Only one type of flower in the arrangement lasted 6 days. Have never had this happen with other florists - even the flowers you buy in the grocery store. Will not use this florist ever again. read more

I ordered my flowers online for Valentines Day and left them specific instructions that it was for a business, so I had assumed they would realize that most businesses close at 5pm. Nope, not them. I checked on my delivery at 4:45pm and was told they are still out for delivery. Called their phone number where I was transferred to an answering service and had to leave a message with them and wait for a call back. Find out the flowers were then delivered THE NEXT DAY. What is the point of getting Valentines Day flowers on the 15th, kind of defeats the whole purpose especially when they charge you an extra $10 just for ordering flowers for Valentines Day. I was always pleased with their flowers and their service, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Bottom line, don't rely on their delivery service on Valentines Day. read more

Have used for past 15 years, but last three times just keeps on getting more disappointing. Not delivered on day promised, did not deliver flowers ordered and now, one of worst customer service answers after calling about current order ever!!! I have used, referred friends and had all of my businesses use. No more!! Wow! What a way to destroy what used to be a great company. read more

I ordered flowers online last night o be delivered to my mother on her 90th birthday today. I requested before noon delivery and by 4:30pm she had still not received the flowers. The flower shop was very unapologetic and could not understand why I was upset that my mother did not get to enjoy The flowers for her birthday and they had not even left the shop. Why would you deliver birthday celebration flowers in the evening??? Will never use them again nor will I recommend this business to anyone. I gave them one star only because the review would not post without any stars chosen. read more

Used them for about 2 years. Switching to someone else. Expensive. Last time the web site warned me about needing to make a second choice as backup, but wasn't clear on how to do that. Got a phone message "please call back or your order won't be filled". I ordered $50 of cut flowers. Why would you need a second choice for $50 worth of cut flowers? Just pick some and put them in a box. Called them, got put on hold by a stressed out counter person who went to find the florist to figure out why they called me. Got disconnected. Ultimately they sent an orchid. That must have been some orchid for $50 plus delivery. read more

I used Beneva flowers for my daughters wedding yesterday. I cannot say enough about the professionalism from beginning to end. I met the owner David Shuel at an Oriels game I was working as his company was passing out flowers to people coming into the stadium for opening day. He was very personable and we started talking about my wedding when he realized I didn't have anyone picked out for flowers yet. He gave me his card and told me to come into the shop with my ideas. I hadn't put much effort into finding a flower company yet with everything else I had going on for the wedding, but I always heard nothing but positive things about Beneva flowers and felt comfortable with the company, and with David. I went in with my ideas and the prices Beneva gave me weren't even comparable; they were EXTREMELY reasonable! We were given a quote and they told us to call or email them with any changes we needed to make. It turns out one of my bridesmaids dropped out of the wedding, I called right away thinking we would lose the money spent on her bouquet. They refunded us the money a week before the wedding. We made 2 or 3 changes throughout the whole process and each time without hesitation or grief, they would change the proposal and gave us a new one no questions asked. They were extremely accommodating to all of our needs. I dropped the vases off for the centerpieces a few days before the wedding a little nervous something would get lost as there were so many vases. Everything came right on time and looking absolutely gorgeous the day of the wedding. They worked with my cake designer and day of coordinator to make sure all the centerpieces and the flowers for the cake got to the right places without me having to worry about anything. EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL and looked better than I could have ever imagined. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Beneva flowers!!!! read more

Bah! I have used them for years to send flowers to my mother in Sarasota but this year on Mothers Day they totally blew it. I placed my order online on Tuesday for a Friday delivery, the day my mom was due home from the hospital. When I called on Mothers Day to my surprise the flowers had never arrived? I called them first thing Monday and was told no one had been home so they did not deliver them. Now first, the web site showed the order as delivered, second they never contacted me or my mother to arrange a delivery on Sat and finally they have always in the past left the flowers at the door so I had zero expectation that my mother had to be home. Out of their control but what really sucks is that mother died on Monday and never got my flowers! Thanks guys your crappy service really hurt read more
