Before going to Benefit BrowBar located in the Colonie Center Macy's I would let almost any hairdresser or salon wax my eyebrows, and I always left REALLY disappointed with the shape/service. I even attempted threading which left me with no eyebrow arch at all! I researched the Benefit BrowBar online and since having my first appointment with Jamie over a year ago I no longer let anyone style my eyebrows except Jamie or Bailey! They are extremely knowledgeable about shaping and styling eyebrows based on your individual style and face. I always receive compliments on my brows. If you are struggling with plucking, growing your brows out, or finding the best style for you make an appointment today! My brows are light blonde and begin to curl when they are grow. After a visit with Jamie and Bailey I always feel and look my best! They are so friendly and great listeners. Even if you just have questions about the Benefit products available they will lead you in the right direction! I love personally the "Gimme Brow" Gel and "They're Real Mascara" You will not be disappointed. read more

Not only did Bailey change my brows- shaping them into what I've always wanted and never could achieve with threading services- she changed my life! She listened to my concerns, and was extremely knowledgeable about benefit products. It used to take me 30 minutes to fill in my brows and I was never quite happy with how I did them. After Bailey showed me how to style them, my morning brow rountine is no longer 30 minutes, more like 5 if that and I love love love them. I'm finally proud to walk out the door, it's like I have her styling my brows everyday! I used to have very sparse eyebrows and she recommended the Browvo, which I was a little hesitant on, but it seriously works! My brows are so much fuller and it also works as a primer, which is super nice. It's definitely worth the price, I'm never going back to threading. After a year of destroying my brows, the Benefit Brow Bar made me see results that ive always wanted in 2 visits! read more

Jamie and Bailey are AMAZING! I and my two daughters have had nightmare experiences at numerous spas and salons who claim to specialize in waxing. We went to Macys brow bar and Jamie and Bailey were like no other experience! They are clean, they care, their precise, they listen to what you want, and will spend the time till you are completely happy and you walk away with the best experience possible, they can even fix what others have botched. I am a model and actress for over 20 years so it is very important to me to have the best professional service when it comes to waxing, I also have sensitive skin. I assure you that if you want the best possible experience in your waxing needs, this is the place and these are the girls! I would go no other place. I travel almost an hour to go to them and it is beyond well worth it. read more

Jamie is absolutely amazing!! She is by far a highly skilled eyebrow waxer & shaper (esthetician). She completely transformed my eyebrows to a shape that is so natural and fierce! She listens to your needs and makes you feel so comfortable in her chair. She has given me a surge of confidence by simply shaping my brows to accentuate my face. She also guided me on how to fill my eyebrows in. She also recommended an amazing brow growth serum Benefit sells that I am beginning a daily regimen with. She was so genuine when she told me we will get my brows to their full potential in time. She really is a sweetheart and appreciates her customers. You will not be disappointed, I promise you, she is a true artist and natural talent!!! Go give Jamie a try!!! Make sure you make an appointment in advance she books up quick !! read more

Being very into makeup, eyebrows are my favorite part! I don't have naturally great eyebrows and have gotten used to expecting disappointment when it comes to getting them waxed (have also gotten them threaded). I had Jamie do my eyebrows because my mom swore by her. I honestly went in thinking as long as she does them well enough, ill be satisfied because I never get a great outcome, until NOW! She honestly did them perfectly, and showed me that I actually do have a naturally good brow. She explained everything she was going to do before because she clearly sensed my hesitation and nervousness trusting someone new. If you go to anyone else, you're wasting your time! Go to Jamie! read more

Jamie is the bomb.com y'all!!! She FINESSESSSSS my brows every. damn. time. and I've been going to her since 2017!!! The first time I went to her she didn't just do my brows, she explained the entire process of what she does and the importance of how your brows affect your entire facial structure! There's been times that I won't have the chance to go to her for a few months and I'll walk in expecting her to not realize it's me and then she starts asking me about life and college and still remembers what we're trying to do with my brows from the last time I I was there. Jamie is HIGHLY recommended read more

Bailey is one of the best in the business! I have been coming here for almost 4 years and she has become like family! I trust her with my brows because she makes me look so awesome and is super talented in what she does. She takes pride in her work. Everytime I go I feel like I'm going to my girlfriend's house...she is so easy to talk to, fun, professional and an expert at what she does. I wouldn't go anywhere else EVER for my eyebrows or make up needs. I wish I could give this a higher rating. She is the very best and I'm so lucky I was introduced to the benefit beauty bar at colonie center!! read more

I have been seeing Bailey for my eyebrows for a few years now. Not only is she extremely personable and friendly, but I have never met someone more skilled at giving a natural brow shape (and I have had several professionals wax my eyebrows throughout the years, prior to meeting her). I am constantly receiving compliments on my eyebrows and always refer people to Bailey--she is the best. I love that she spends the time to cover up and "style" my eyebrows after each visit, too--it's so relaxing that you forget you're sitting in the middle of a store. Going to her is such a treat! read more

Absolutely love getting my brows done by Jamie at the Benefit BrowBar! I've had plenty of waxing experiences before that I've not been entirely pleased with, but this one is very different. Never before have I been asked what I wanted with my brows or what I'm looking to get out of the experience, and it's great to know my input is part of process. It's not simply hair removal though, the brows are shaped to fit your features and if you want, she'll fill them in after too! I'll never go back to getting them done anywhere else :) read more

I've been going to the benefit brow bar in Macy's for a year or so, and every time a great experience. I specifically see Jamie, and she does wonders with my brows. The brow look I have are "bold brows" and she makes them look flawless and clean. My favorite products for my brows is the "goof proof brow pencil," super easy to use. For my face I use a foundation called the "hello flawless" foundation paired with "pore-fessional primer". I highly recommend the brow bar in Macy's, and Benefit products are just great! read more

I was trying to get my eyebrows cleaned up on a whim this past Saturday (Labor Day Weekend). I walked in and Jamie was more than willing to squeeze me in... Thank god! She was fantastic and her consult was thorough, seeing what I was looking for and nailed it! She offered to fill my brows and then after I asked, she showed me a product I needed and how to use it. It was appropriately priced and no one was pushy during my visit. I WILL be visiting again. Thank you!!! As a heads up, tipping is cash only. read more

I have been going to the Benefit BrowBar for over four years, maybe even five. Each and every time I go, I feel better than when I arrive. Jamie is hands down the best. She explains what she's doing through each step and wants you to understand how important shaping your brow is. She'll explain which product is the best for your brow because no face is complete without it! There is no better place in the Capital District to get your brows done. I trust no one else. Don't walk, run to brow bar! read more

I've been going to the Benefit Brow Bar for a few years now and absolutely love it. Prior to Benefit, I had hopped from random places to go get my eyebrows done, to get generic-looking eyebrows. Bailey is an artist and does such a fantastic job. She is so detail-oriented and really makes sure your eyebrows are the right shape for your face. (I have a lot of eyebrow!) The Benefit staff are so welcoming and just genuinely good people. If you haven't gone to Benefit yet, what are you doing?! read more

As I was walking through Macy's tonight I noticed a customer getting their eyebrows done at the Benefit BrowBar. I shopped a little and decided to check the BrowBar out. I'm so glad I did- Bailey is amazing. Not only did she give me some background info on Benefit, she also walked me through and explained the process of waxing. I felt completely comfortable letting her decide the best shape for my brows. I'm definitely going back to see Bailey for all future brow appointments! read more

I've been going to the brow bar for a few years now, and have always had a great experience. My brows come out even and neatly done every time. Jamie typically does my brows, and in the beginning before I could remember who I saw last, Bailey also has done them. They both do an AWESOME job, and I've had numerous compliments from many people. The equipment and station is always neat and impeccably clean. You can tell these girls know their stuff. I refuse to go anywhere else! read more

Bailey helped me look and feel beautiful again..I originally went to just look at mascaras and maybe a concealer...Bailey really wowed me with her knowledge of all the products.. i have very small lashes and she showed me the best one for me and also showed me some makeup tips/products to cover some flaws i see on myself. Bailey took her time with me and listened to everything I said. She went above and beyond for me..thats not an easy thing to come by these days read more

I've been going to the Brow Bar at Macy's for a few years now and my brows have never looked better. Jamie is great at taming my unruly brows and achieving the perfect shape. No more over plucked, embarrassingly thin brows! Sure it's a few extra bucks than getting them done at the nail salon or the threading spot but it's 100% worth it. Plus they fill your brows and touch up your makeup when you're done so you can go on with your day without red blotchy skin. read more

I've been going to Bailey at Benefit Brow Bar for about 4 years now. She is absolutely amazing, she has a great sense of all products, answers any questions when asked. She also will tell you what types of products she uses on brows when getting them done. All of the staff there is great! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is all about there brows. Anyone who compliments mine I always say where I go and whom I get them done by. LOVE LOVE LOVE read more

I have been getting my eyebrows done by Jamie about once a month for the last two years and I couldn't say enough great things about her! I'm not quite sure what I did before her. Jamie is very professional, always extremely friendly, and highly knowledgable. It is obvious that Jamie loves her job and it goes without saying that she is absolutely great at it. I am always happy and satisfied with how my eyebrows look every single time. I highly recommend! read more
