I just called Armordillo to have some equipment sandblasted and I've never been talked to so rudely in my life and I'm in customer service. The gentleman ( I use that word loosely) not only flat out refused to do it. He could have politely said no. Instead he was belligerent. When I asked who he would recommend he said he wouldn't recommend anyone I would have to do my own looking around. That's not his job.

The owners of this shop are also genuinely nice and friendly people who put lots of care into heir business. It wouldn't shift into anything but neutral. Then the brake lights and turn signals went out. On June 18th, I got the car to Subaru of Bend. It was there until July 28th because the wire harness that Advanced Northwest Welding had install had blown out the BIT computer unit - and they had to disconnect it or the issue would continue. On May 26th I had a hitch installed by these people. At the time the installer didn't appear to know what he was doing or how to install the wire harness. I was sitting there watching the install and could hear everything. Not only did they not install the proper wire harness for my car; they installed it incorrectly. Not only was my trip ruined, but they damaged my car. All of which cost me a lot of money and time. Not to mention the fact that this could have caused my daughter and I to get killed. The owner is terrible to deal with. Unless I get every penny of my money back - I plan to take her to court.

When I finally got it back there was no change - the issue was still present - but it was now missing a part! He's since promised to order me a replacement part, but guess what? He hasn't called me back on it and every time I check in it's as if he's never heard of the situation. I have zero faith he's ever going to get me that part. Run away from this guy. I can't recall ever having such a bad experience as a customer.

To his credit, he recognized this was a gas leak issue outside his scope and had me call another company to handle that repair first. Once the leak was fixed, JJ came back to repair the igniters. Unfortunately, he installed them incorrectly, and now they continuously click-- a problem that didn't exist before he worked on the unit. Instead of fixing the original issue, I'm left with a new malfunction on my cooktop. I don't doubt he meant well, but this was a gas appliance repair he wasn't equiped to complete correctly, and I've now got to pay someone else to redo the work. I'd be cautious hiring him for anything involving gas cooktops or igniter installation.
