Months later in his waiting room, I pondered Christopher's vintage photo of a train wreck. A jaded metaphor for my once-hopeful marriage? -- no, this was about what I still had coming. Christopher presented his credentials. Graduated from Harvard... specialized in game theory... leader of the county bar association's family law section... he's in my neighborhood... How could I go wrong? After I retained Christopher, I learned he'd recently fallen out with his legal partner (hence the name change from "Rao and Pierce"). In the transition, the support staff were in flux and disarray. Early on, his team neglected to file critical documents. They made an embarrassing factual error about my son. To my repeated requests they were often nonresponsive. I harangued them to complete my will. Throughout, we let opposing counsel drive a simplistic narrative. "We're keeping our powder dry", Christopher would tell me. He did object to the judge about OC's page counts... Our court orders? all drafted by OC. We lost and we lost, and each time Christopher declared some small victory. And he'd regularly criticize me. "I'm tough on my clients", he'd tell me. Regularly I wondered if I'd hired an adversary, not an advocate. From other reviewers I'm seeing I'm not alone in this. Two years and about $100K later we withdrew, and Christopher's long-suffering assistant wrote me, "Thank you for being you, for being kind, caring and never being afraid to express your emotions. You will always be one of my favorite clients." Divorce is already too traumatic. Much as I empathize with his staff, I suggest that you avoid Christopher Rao.

I really appreciated her knack for using simple language and examples to help me understand everything. This put me at ease immediately and was very helpful. Additionally, Katrina was very prompt and personable. Even though I contacted her during the holidays, she got back to me right away and kept me updated on her progress the whole time. She has a warm, professional manner and is incredibly hardworking. I heartily recommend Katrina and look forward to working with her again.

So the EFF has a list of attorneys, and I kid you not I wrote an email to every single one of them. Katrina (P.O.V legal services) was one of the first to actually reply back to my email. After receiving replies back from most of the attorneys I decided it would be best if Katrina represented me. Once we met she informed me exactly what was going on and the different options I could take, which gave me a sense of relief. From there on she was extremely helpful, if I ever had a question I would shoot her an email and she would reply and answer back pretty fast. She worked with me around my busy work schedule as well. To summarize I can say that I am very pleased with my experience with POV(Katrina). So if you were like me a few months ago frantically looking for an attorney for matters like this, go with POV!

We were overwhelmed, anxious, dealing with a complete liar and juggling a lot at the time. Bryn took the time to truly listen, asked thoughtful questions, and immediately made us feel supported and understood. When we met in person, he was nothing but professional, kind, and--somehow--even managed to make us laugh during a very difficult situation. Throughout our time working with him, Bryn's emails were always detailed, clear, and extremely effective. He consistently shut down nonsense and misinformation from the other side with precision and confidence. Comparing the professionalism and substance of Bryn's work to what the opposing counsel produced made it crystal clear that we made the right decision trusting him with our legal needs! Bryn isn't just an excellent attorney--he's a genuinely good person. He's a family man, a great dad, and it shows in how deeply he cares about his clients. He treats you like a human being, not just a case. When our situation unfortunately escalated into a lawsuit, Bryn recommended an outstanding litigation firm, which ultimately helped us win. That recommendation alone speaks volumes about his integrity and experience. I cannot recommend Bryn highly enough for business legal matters. He is smart, ethical, responsive, and absolutely worth the time and money. His paralegal, Kelly, is also wonderful to work with--professional, helpful, and kind. Bryn truly has a great thing going, and I will always be incredibly grateful we found him.
