From the time I first contacted Dimension Law Group following the death of my brother in 2021, Attorney Synthia Melton was very instrumental in helping every way she could. I always felt like the needs of me and my family were met. My late brother's estate was recently settled and closed and I am very satisfied with how his estate was handled. Thank you for all of your help. read more

I really liked my initial meeting with Joanna and her approach to setting up the deal. However, once it came time to write the document they just wrote a bunch of stuff that was not talked about which could have been entirely prevented if they'd reviewed the initial documents I'd sent or had a simple intake form. Instead there was lots of expensive rewrites. For example they contested the agreed upon sale price when I'd already sent the appraisal and of course was charged for this whole back and forth. I also felt like they were not forthcoming with steps of the process and forced me to keep checking with them at a minimum of $30 a pop. Them asking if I got the money and me saying yes cost $60. In total it cost at least 3X what was initially quoted. They also had an error where they without notice or invoice automatically charged me for their services plus $5,000 of fees that were to be split with another party. I really liked my first meeting but feel they are not very organized which ultimately filled their coffers. read more

The worst legal experience I've ever gone through. Avoid at all costs. Was required to work with Katy Sweden as she drafted our newly formed HOA. For context, I'm the first buyer into this HOA after Dimension Law helped to establish it only 10 months ago. Katy, after sandbagging us for weeks, refusing to honor our mandatory HOA Transfer Meeting, finally met with all of the new buyers to transfer it to us. From the beginning of the threads with the attorneys, I have flagged inaccuracies on descriptions of our property (vastly incorrect bedroom / bathroom count), but instead of correcting them, I've been getting pressured into accepting an amendment proposed by the seller, and will only get my descriptions updated should I accept a preposterous amendment which would take away our parking by redrawing the property map. I continue to refuse the amendment, but now it's unclear if we'll be receiving an accurate unit description. I've inquired about even paying for the amendment ourselves but haven't gotten any straight answer. Emails go unanswered, questions remain, problems persist. read more

Synthia has been a wonderful lawyer (and overall) person to work with. I had a client dispute in my small business, and she provided honest and effective strategies to remedy the situation. I will definitely call her again next time I have a legal need! read more

Very unprofessional , I scheduled a consult weeks in advance just to find out it was cancelled with no reason a mere days before my appointment. Leaving me to have to scramble to find a new lawyer. read more

Despite the current Yelp reviews, I am so glad I went with Julie Martinello and Dimension Law Group for my estate and tenant matters this year. I engaged Julie in June 2022 and have had the most professional and proactive legal counsel through every phase of each process. Even with multiple hiccups and stalls from opposing counsel, Julie remained attentive to my goals. Her advice and direction even garnered more than what was originally asked. She is a fierce competitor in court and I felt fully prepared to win (and did). I'd highly recommend Julie to anyone looking for an experienced, attentive, and action-oriented attorney for estate planning and landlord-tenant matters. read more

I went to these clowns to see about evicting a tenant. They made me pay them $150 to do an initial "consultation". Their intake person was unfamiliar with current Seattle eviction rules and had to look up her answers; some of which were wrong or outdated. It was clear to me that I was not talking to an expert. read more

This is the most unprofessional encounter I've had with a firm of any kind. I'm a manager at Boeing and have a referral service through Boeing for Julie Martinillo. This is my first legal matter with anything in my whole life. I went to their office and spoke to a paralegal Yaritza and I provided all my documents and I never ever received a call from Julie. I tried to call everyday for a week and I never received a call Back from anyone. I left messages with Yvonne at the front desk and still received nothing from Julie or Yaritza. I am now being sued and have no idea what to do so I have to find another lawyer. read more

A SCAM, a $$$ racket ? Called for a referred Real Estate Attorney to help me with a quick local RE project, she is now "gone", with two phone reps trying to hustle me to a "remaining" Attorney, and then REFUSES to have this unknown & questionably qualified or appropriate or interested Attorney chat with me x 2-3 minutes to see IF they can help me or able to or want to, yes...they want to "book" a "30 minute" phone chat & DEMAND "$175." upfront. Omg. A 2-3 min chat with the proposed new Attorney only needed to see IF the unknown Attorney appropriate & good for this case. Omg. The profile of the quit or fired Attorney STILL on their website & the one they say does that type of work without a pic or any info on ! A scam, very very unethical... read more

This is the most unethical law firm I've had to experience. Be very aware of Synthia Melton! She's good at what she does for the most inhumane reasons. This woman tried to take advantage of me at my most vulnerable time in my life, and used, her having a toddler child, to relate to me; so that I felt comfortable with the fraudulent misrepresentation that she cold heartily practiced against me. But what Synthia wasn't aware of is that when you use your skills and judgement for the worst, you will reap what you sow. I believe she thought I was just this homeless minority with no education. When we reviewed documents, I disagreed with a few things and she crossed it out and made the changes to what I was willing to accept. She acted like she had another appointment and had me sign the documents and took copies of my ID, then she had the receptionist bring me back just the ID, and I was told I was going to be emailed a copy of the signed documents. Well, I was emailed the document that I wouldn't sign. This is something I knew not to do before hand, but as I mentioned this was my most vulnerable times in life. I was just happy that her client and I was going to walk away from everything, content. Synthia knew exactly what she was doing and when I told her, that wasn't what I signed, and to email me the documents with the changes we made, and with my signature, she acted stupid like she didn't know what I was talking about! She then threatened to sue me and proceed with criminal actions on behalf of her and her unethical client! I told her I will vigorously defend myself and I had proof that she did what she did...this was January 2020. Now she's silent. I think we all know why. She's nothing short of the client she represented. DO NOT GO TO THIS FIRM FOR REPRESENTATION! AND MOST DEFINITELY DON'T SHOW UP WITHOUT AN ATTORNEY, AND IF YOU CAN'T OBTAIN AN ATTORNEY FOR ANY REASON, ASK TO RECORD THE WHOLE MEETING, IF THEY DON'T AGREE THEN DON'T GO! P.S. DISCRIMINATION IS AT IT'S ALL TIME HIGH RIGHT WITHIN THIS FIRM! read more

I have only had the best experiences with Julie Martinello on various things that I needed her help with. From estate planning to lack of tenant rental payments. She always responds fast to my questions, which I appreciate very much! I have been using Julie for quite a few years and I have always been happy with the results. read more

I am very pleased with the attorney I found at Dimension Law. I contacted Dimension Law when I was facing an illegal eviction after my fiancé passed away. My fiancé's brother had shown up a week after his death and gave me one week to move out of the home we shared for ten years, and began illegally accessing the property and violating my rights as a tenant. I contacted them in a rush - she called me back before our consultation appointment and I hired her on the spot - she immediately put a stop to his behavior (called him directly) and helped me set up an appropriate amount of time to move. She handled (and still does) all communication with my fiancé's brother and his attorney, and I don't have to deal with the anger or frustration! She's been extremely helpful during an extremely difficult time. I'm very happy I have chosen to be represented by Dimenson Law. read more

I had a conference call with Julie Martiniello regarding the probate of the death of my parents. In truth, I was a few minutes late due to the time difference; I had to wake up very early (5am), however, it was one of the worst business experiences of my life. First, I apologized for being late, but I soon noticed she was talking to me on speaker phone (without asking). Moreover, she really did not seem to know anything about my case; even though I exhaustively explained myself to a secretary at the firm. She was quite busy at the time due to the fact that she plugged in her headphones and started to multi task, while scratching the microphone on her clothing; creating an excruciating sound. I was desperately trying to receive help from her law firm and was talking about the death of my parents, but Julie Martiniello was (1) not interested (2) made me feel like I was wasting her time (3) kept trying to push me off on another law firm when she found out that my parents didn't have a large estate. It made my parents death an even worse experience. read more
