I chose them because they make the cakes with love, using fresh ingredients and traditional methods. The service was incredible, they were proactive in finding out the best way to deliver, and very uncomplicated in sorting out the type of cake and how to deliver it. I did not try the cake (a cheesecake topped with fresh fruit), but was assured by the recipient that it was incredible. Payment was very easy - paypal in this case, and the price was very reasonable. Seriously…read more The proprieter, Nick, sources raw beans from around the world, and hand roasts it to produce some most delightful blends and single-origin brews. In addition to espresso, they make (and bottle) cold-brew coffee, which is an excellent and rare offering. This little cafè is situated down a narrow arcade - easier to find on foot- and is very much a locals favourite. Inside is a very urban vibe, featuring local street-art talent on the walls, good music, free spring water and free WiFi. Plenty of seats in the arcade too. The focus being on awesome coffee, the food menu is limited to a few cakes/cookies. Staff are friendly, and you won't be left waiting long for your coffee or tea to arrive. Oh, did I mention the tea? Brackendale tea. As awesome as the coffee here (except it is tea). Open weekdays, early morning till 2pm. Given that Nick has probably been up roasting half the night, I can understand the early closing hour :)

I'd noticed this place on the way in so thought I'd drive back out & give it a go, as I could park right out front. The lass serving was very attentive & listened to my coffee preferences. The result was one of the nicest coffees I've had. I also tried the breakfast roll on special & it was absolutely beautiful too. Definitely worth a try.
