Wildernex Wildlife Control - Austin Snake Removal

    Wildernex Wildlife Control

I started using Wildernex three years ago. We are surrounded by acreage and a green belt, so we had…read moreMANY encounters with snakes in our yard. Their monthly service has reduced that by 75%. This week I had a large water snake hanging around the side yard. We scared it away, but it returned yesterday. I called Andrew, my service tech, and he came by that evening and found it! The snake was caught and was " safely relocated." Now I can go back outside and water my plants without being terrified! Andrew has always been helpful and listens to my concerns, then treats the yard as needed.

I was there a few times while he was working and he was always warm and friendly and explained to me where he was in the process. He texted me regularly when he didn't see me in person, so I always knew what was going on and I never felt like he was trying to rush to get the job finished. Another reason I went with Wildernex originally, was because they said that only one person would be coming to the house to remove the animals. That was important because my relatives didn't want a bunch of different people coming in and out. We had several raccoons making a nest in the attic and they were causing quite a bit of noise and some damage. I called several places at the beginning and got 3 different quotes. The quotes were all about the same but I liked the fact that Wildernex will trap and relocate the animals rather than killing them and that was important to us, so we went with them. Boy am I glad we did! It's much easier to kill the animals and be done with it, trapping and relocating takes time and patience. Andrew came out every day to check his traps for several weeks and set a game camera to make sure he'd gotten all of them. At the end, a straggler showed up and Andrew was ready with a final trap and ended up getting 4 raccoons and a possum in total. All of them were safely relocated (over 20 miles away so they don't come back) and he even went the extra mile to relocate them in the same new area, in case they were a family. I think that it's really helpful that Andrew is a wildlife biologist so he's familiar with the habits of the animals which makes his trapping more efficient and effective. He doesn't cause too much stress to the animals or the humans in the house, for that matter. There was no need to kill the little guys and we all really liked the way he got them out of the attic over time but didn't hurt them. We also learned that raccoons have a preference for Cheetos! After he trapped the whole crew he cleaned up the mess that they'd made in the attic and sealed up the entrances and exits so no new ones can come back. In addition to being great at his job, Andrew is a really nice human being. The older folks in the home were sometimes challenging and he was always so respectful as he addressed their concerns and was very sweet with them. The price was right in line with the other quotes and maybe even a bit less but they offer something that's priceless, which is awesome service and a job perfectly done, along with a guarantee. You'd be hard pressed to find better service than what he gave to us and I'm so happy that we made the choice to go with Wildernex. It was a win win for us and the animals.

These are definitely concerning but I can't imagine it's costs $9000 to fix this problem. I really just want the pests gone I don't really care about new attic insulation. I am glad I read this reviews because I don't want to have to follow-up with anyone after the work is done. The reviews on Yelp are also completely different than the are on google so there is definitely some shadiness there.

Buyer Beware! I view Critter Control as a criminal organization…read more They advertise and you pay for a long list of preventative measures at your home and they do the very minimum. I was sold and paid for... * Full sealing and exclusion of all entry points * Screening of all weep holes * Installation of a one way exit * Camera installation for monitoring * Fogging the attic at a rate of 1 gallon per 1,000 cubic ft * Removal of the one way exit and repair of soffit * Thorough sanitization after animal removal However, the work orders prove that their technicians spent only 1.5 hours on the initial visit and did not perform the majority of the contracted work. No cameras were installed, no weep holes were screened, no full exclusion work was completed, and the attic fogging was not performed to the specifications in the contract. The squirrels were back within 2 days. When Critter Control returned, for what they called "Warranty" work, their technician stepped through the attic floor and the ceiling in my home. I have disputed $5,660 worth of credit card charges and filed a consumer protection complaint with the Texas State Attorney General.
