The Spring Hill office is centrally located, and very convenient. The receptionist was welcoming and warm, very efficient. The back office staff was waiting for me, and gave me an x-ray order before I even sat down. I went right downstairs, and was greeted by the pleasant and efficient radiology staff. My x-rays were quickly done, and I was sent back upstairs. Dr. Lawrence made me feel like he took time to listen, that he genuinely cared about me, gave me a thorough examination, and explained my x-rays. Hemmed and hawed for almost a year whether or not to write this review, yet still being in pain…read moreafter all this time, here it goes... My first visit with Dr. George rubbed me the wrong way. Before even poking her head through the door, she asked "how are you doing today sir". Well, I'm a woman with what some people would consider a man's name. I was also grossed out that the tables do not have paper on them for cleanliness and no disinfectant to clean between patients. She looked at my x-rays and moved my leg around stating she heard a pop...I didn't hear one. She ordered me an MRI at TOA's location in Nashville stating it'd be a quicker turnaround. Upon returning after my MRI result, she told me I had a torn meniscus and needed surgery, as it would not heal itself. No other remedies. She explained things so quickly, I was lost. I did have the surgery soon after. I was told to book physical therapy right away. So after one week, I went to pt and have regretted it since. Whether the surgery did or did not work, I don't know. Ever since that one pt appointment, I've been in pain. I mentioned it on follow-ups with Dr. George who told me it takes time to heal. Well, it's a year later and it appears another surgery (with a different surgeon who has tried other options first) is in my near future.

It would be impossible for her to be more attentive, concerned and personable than she is. Her extensive schooling and training hasn't kept her from being able to relate to non-medical people on an easily understood level. She showed genuine concern for me and thoroughly explained my options (often stopping to ask if I had any questions) before helping lay out a plan for my care. She put me at ease with what can be a very troubling issue. I could not have been more pleased with my experience as a patient or more impressed with Dr. Brown's "bedside" manner. Bravo!
