She was a paraplegic after MVA and the first day there, the staff attempted to stand her up and fell. I, myself, am medical and attempted to discuss my concerns with the doctors but no one was interested or cared one and she almost passed before we could get her transferred. Please do some research before considering your loved one.

Inpatient Depression episode. ******Do not go to Trust…read morePoint**** This place needs to have license removed. The staff is horrible. There was 1 or 2 that did not treat people with total disrespect. The folks that ran the day to day should be fired and reported. I was physically abused, verbally abused. The did not know what hippa laws are for. They totally disregarded my right to privacy . The all night crew, were nothing but mean. So much was done and said and I cannot communicate the physical pain as well as verbal. The day that I was discharged I told the social worker about the terrible way I was treated. All I know the group were from another country, they twisted my arm, I observed one of the gang taking a recording of me on there cell phone. I had/have several bones broken in my foot. I was given a wheel chair and told by my Vanderbuilt Doctor to not put any weight on my foot. I was moved to a much smaller unit. This where I met the Nigerian Night Crew. They snatched my wheel chair from me and took it away. They were laughing and told me my foot was not hurt. I was threatened if I contacted the police, I would be sorry. This is just the tip of the iceberg . I did file a police report in Murfreesboro. I am sure it was never addressed. I was worse when I left than I was when I was admitted. ******************************* Please do not go there! It was nasty. Too much to tell like this, I hope this saves someone from going there. If you want to compare notes, please feel free to contact me via email: luvgill@me.com. I was told by the patient advocate that she would file a complaint with the state. I called back the day after discharged. The person I spoke to was rude and just mean. She advised me to never call back again.

Had to remind staff we are humans and have rights which did not work. Transferred that "argumentative" behavior to we are patients and we have patients rights and referred STAFF to the tiny printed Patients' Rights print out in a very obscure location where patients do not frequent much. Staff announced to about 20 of us humans that we were amongst rapists and stalkers. The majority of the women in there were tragically raped throughout their lives, some received hysterectomies from the abuse. Patients were getting called by the wrong names, some being called the name of the person they were raped by. Mind you - this is co-Ed and no locks on the doors. Women were being paired with men as roommates the day I was leaving. This place helped to get my hypothyroidism diagnosis - a chronic condition that was left untreated for 17 years of my life. Beyond that, extremely traumatizing and a stay any longer than 4-5 days has left the the therapeutic level and will likely cause additional incorrect diagnoses and continued psychosis. The staff are extremely understaffed and overworked. Funders are severely neglecting this place and mental health as a whole. I Hope Trust Point sees better days and staff receive trauma informed extensive training. Nurse S(h)andra, Dr. (nurse) Jayjay, Nurse Alyssa, Nurse Mark, and 3 other Male Nurses (excluding Moses), and Charge Nurse MJ were our only hope while in this place. Oh and the meds that were prescribed were very wrong. Luckily my TWO female psychiatrists that I've had for a couple years at Centennial Outpatient Psychiatry in Nashville quickly caught and fixed this :) P.s. Trustpoint - if you're going to respond with a generated, disingenuous response -- Save your time, your staff needs it.

You people are genuine, actual monsters. You denied us therapy, you denied us comfort, you denied us autonomy, you subjected us to infantilizing 'group' therapy (the whole group, from aggressively different backgrounds). - You ignored a girl having multiple seizures. - You ignored another woman having an asthma attack. - You ridiculed, made fun of, and manipulated all of us, but in my case an individual with C-PTSD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. You failed to get me ANY resources, you failed to notice ANY symptoms, you just shot me up with antipsychotics and left me to wander up and down the blank white hallways. That's all we would do every day, by the way! Walk up and down the hallways! That's it. We had to be each other's therapists. Everyone was trauma dumping (DANGEROUS) just sitting on the floors in the hallways, because we (age 18-24) didn't want to sit by the several significantly older patients who were so drugged (against their will) that they slept **all day**. I am serious, all day. They'd just sleep. In the chairs. All day. They'd barely wake for meals. That's abusive! Get them care! What on earth are we doing here? Why was an 18 year old girl with blatant severe DID and trauma being kept in the same room all day as patients who were being held in psychiatric care awaiting trial? That's not even the whole list. I refuse to relive this any longer by writing any more. You. People. Make. Me. Sick.
