Seemed genuinely concerned about the issue I was having and made helpful recommendations

I worked with Tony in Dec 2024 for multiple audio, internet and security fixes and upgrades in a newly purchased home. I like to wait on my reviews to make sure I have no regrets or issues, and I can say 1 year later I am happier than when I first got it installed. TLDR: I would highly recommend Tony and his team for his work. I will personally be using them again and have recommended them to others already. Excellent service, responsiveness and genuine customer service. Tony works with you not just for you. He worked with me on within my budget and timelines, and provided great suggestions, options and education to make sure I ended up with the best outcome. Everyone with his company I interacted with was professional, nice, and great at their jobs. Finally, he worked just as hard after the install and payments to locate grill covers for my recently purchased speakers. Which was hard as due to budget/value we went with end of model life options so the grills were no longer being produced. I may have gotten last two in America. This level of follow-through and post-sale support is rare today. read more

Needed my OTA (over the air) reception fixed: cabling in the attic repaired, antenna tweaked. Mission accomplished! Very pleased with the results. Pricing is by the hour, and I had hoped the task could have been done more quickly, but I chose to have the team continue and complete the job. It was a good decision. Highly recommended. read more

The best service- just an all around good person. I love the work. My tv looks great mounted above my fireplace.

Tony (owner) and Patrick (tech) were both completely outstanding from start to finish. I wanted to add new LAN ethernet connections on both 2nd and 3rd floor of my finished townhouse. Tony responded very promptly to my request for quote. I learned Tony used to do industrial cabling work down at Texas City Refinery [now Galveston Bay Refinery] - as a mech engineer whose worked on this refinery, I can tell you this is impressive. Tony immediately understood my project needs, asked great questions/made great points, and I realized I didn't even want to quote anyone else. Tony kindly offered two different quotes (lower cost quote for external-house wiring and slightly higher labor quote for in-wall wiring). I opted for in-wall and running the cables down from my attic (where they tied into my network switch and patch panel). Their cabling work was fantastic - extra coiled up wiring at both ends, well secured, clean & hidden for nice aesthetics, color-coded & also clearly labelled, and they minimized holes in my drywall (I have a top notch drywall/paint guy and it's impossible to tell there were ever any holes). Moreover, they were very respectful of my wife, pets, wearing shoe covers, etc., and helpful throughout - even gifting me a CAT6 cable for my computer while we were testing connection speeds at the end. I'm a Benchmark customer for life. Thank you Tony! read more

I recently purchase a 75-inch TV and wanted a professional install to his wires. The TV was going in a large wall and needed to be very neat. I researched installation companies online because I didn't want a disaster like my friends had with a popular company (guy fell through their ceiling). I fount Benchmark on Yelp with a 5-star review. Tiny and his technician were the most outstanding and professional people I have ever had enter my home. Tony spent time finding out exactly what I wanted. He didn't just say, "Where do you want this?" and throw it on the wall. This was a first for me, so I relied heavily on his expertise. He made some of excellent suggestions and I am so very pleased and proud of my new media center. Once installed we discussed speakers. His knowledge about sound systems blew my husband and I away. If you are even considering one, contact him first. He is way better than research you can do online. His response time via Yelp (and then text) was very quick. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He has done ginormous jobs and little ones, like mine. 5-star plus! read more

I highly recommend Benchmark for your electronic solutions. I spoke to Tony over the phone and gave him a quick run down of my small project. He came to my home to give an estimate and inspect my cable and wi-fi connections. Tony is very knowledgeable and gave me a quick and precise estimation of the work that would be involved. He knew exactly what I needed and wrote up the estimate the next day. He was very thorough in his explanation of the work and suffice to say, Tony committed to the project. Tony and Nick came out to my home and completed the job in record time. The work was highly professional, quick and neatly done. Tony and Nick even prepped for the next incoming contractor which means a lot in this day and age. Best of all Nick bills at an hourly rate; no 4 or 5 minimum hours billed like most contractors even when they know the job will be done in under 2 hours or less. I am very glad to have chosen Benchmark for my project! read more

Benchmark Communications - TV Mounting Near Me - Alvin, Texas

Was looking for a company and or person that would listen to my needs, not rush to get to the next appointment, and work with what I have. I found this company through reviews here on yelp. I can tell you we started off with a couple text then talked on phone. After talking with Tony the owner I knew I found the right company. They came out and ran new cat6 back to the my shop and up into the house to get my internet working. They fixed and finished the work my internet provider did not. Highly recommend to anyone. Great customer service and work. read more

I want to start this by saying Tony is a stand up guy. He's very polite, honest, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. He came out and gave me a free estimate detailing exactly what my options were for what I wanted. On the day of installation he and his team were prompt and got the work done efficiently. I am extremely happy with the work they did. Tony was knowledgeable and walked me through everything with the new system. I am now able to do everything I wanted! I will be using Benchmark Communications in the future and I can't recommend their services enough. read more

Tony was extremely professional. Communicating before, during and after the service call. Highly recommend this company.

Can't recommend the team at Benchmark enough! I had some specific requirements and they handled all of my needs professionally and with courtesy. While some installation teams might rush to keep to a schedule Tony and crew made sure all elements of the install were functional and even helped me troubleshoot a bit of my preexisting equipment to ensure the complete network was performing exactly as should be. Great experience and good people. read more

This is a good company. it's so hard to find company's who do internet and tv. I recommend this company very professional

Really great guys who take great price in their work. Quick to respond and they were able to schedule me the very next morning. Did such a good job running network and speaker wire I had them mount speakers and a WiFi access point. Great work all around and really professional look. read more

I have to agree with the other reviewers... I messaged Benchmark this weekend through Yelp for a project I needed to have done on a very tight timeline. I received very quick responses to each message. I decided to see if Benchmark would be able to get the job done. I called on Monday morning, and Tony was out installing the tv Monday afternoon. He graciously fit me into his schedule and did fantastic work at that. He let me know what time he would be over, texted me while he was on the way, and arrived promptly. He explained a few options on how to conceal the wiring, worked with me on exactly where I wanted the tv placed on the wall, and set the roku player back up as well. He was incredibly personable and professional and I will definitely be using Benchmark for future work. I highly recommend them! Thank you!! read more
