Jason coordinated and provided the DJ, Photobooth and Uplight Services. He and his team did a fantastic job. The uplights paired so well with our wall drapery and elevated the space. My husband and I along with our guests had a blast with the photobooth. Also, one of the highlights of the evening was when Jason played our requested Filipino songs- Awitin Mo at Isasayak Ko- and the crowd went nuts haha. Core memory for sure! Justin provided the emcee services and did a fantastic job with engaging our guests. Justin was also meticulous and took the time to get to know me and my husbands details like how we met, our favourite color and more to ensure a seamless program! If you are on the fence about getting this duo and their team, I hope this review would help in making your choice! They are professional, has timely and great communication, and most importantly they are fun and that translates to the crowd! Mahalo Jason, Justin and the Ono Kine Entertainment crew for making our wedding celebration so special for us and our families.

After contacting numerous sound companies around Oahu, David with Akahi had the best pricing and options. He was very responsive and always responded to inquiries in a timely manner. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my original emcee had to cancel a few days prior to the event. I contacted David to ask about hiring an emcee and he offered to provide the emcee services at NO ADDITIONAL cost (Awesome)! On the day of the event, David arrived early with ample time to set up. I experienced technical difficulties when trying to set up my slide show, and David went out of his way to help me get the stressful situation resolved even though it was not his responsibility. The sound equipment he used was perfect for the event and I even received compliments from the bands that David did an excellent job providing sound for them. If you are looking to book a sound man for your next event, consider contacting David at Akahi Productions. You will not be disappointed in his service! Mahalo plenty to David and Akahi Productions! I will definitely be using them again for all my future events.

From the very beginning, Brandon was incredibly kind, professional, and easy to work with. He communicated with me by phone and text, which made everything simple and smooth during a time when I had so many things on my mind. We were able to quickly secure the date, and the booking process was very easy. I paid the deposit through Venmo and the balance at the event. On the day of the service, Brandon handled everything beautifully. His setup and breakdown were effortless, and his music created such a meaningful atmosphere throughout the entire evening. During the funeral program, his music added a level of comfort and reflection that truly touched everyone in attendance. What made the day even more special was the music he played during the dinner reception afterward. It brought warmth to the room and allowed family and friends to gather, share memories, and celebrate my mom's life together. One moment that meant so much to me personally was when Brandon took the time to learn a song just for the service -- "I Hope You Dance" by Lee Ann Womack. Hearing that song played live during the service was incredibly emotional and moving. Many people who attended told me how powerful and beautiful that moment was. Later on, Brandon shared with me that he now performs that song at other events because of how meaningful it was. Knowing that a small piece of my mom's memory continues through the music he plays is something that means a lot to me. If you are ever looking for someone to provide music for a special event, I cannot recommend Brandon Onishi enough. His professionalism, talent, and genuine care truly made a difference on a day that meant everything to my family.

The last thing we wanted was to be too stressed out to enjoy our special day. They were an absolute lifesaver throughout the entire process who brought structure, guidance, and reassurance and made our special day the best of our lives. We had monthly check‑ins that kept us on track without ever feeling rushed, and their planning software kept every detail organized in a way we never could've managed on our own. It felt like having a roadmap to keep us on track while avoiding all the common pitfalls of the process. Whenever we wanted to discuss an item that made us stressed, Annie knew exactly what to say to help make us feel at ease. On the day-of, everything ran so flawlessly that we were completely unaware of anything happening behind the scenes. We got to be fully present, enjoy our day, and soak in every moment while they handled all the moving parts with total professionalism. Highly recommend! Annie markets herself as a planner who creates one of a kind weddings. Our experience was the opposite, and once we declined her MC and sound package, her engagement dropped off noticeably. I told her from the start that my dream was a dinner party and that eating with our guests mattered more to me than anything. She did not raise an issue until the timeline review, when she said it was not possible and that I should be taking photos while my guests ate. I asked whether it was a venue restriction. She said no, she just did not think my guests would like it. That was an opinion, not a reason. She told us things about our own vendors that were not true. She said she knew our makeup artist and loved working with her. Our makeup artist had never met her. She said our videographer needed microphones that plugged into a sound system and did not have any, and that her sound package was the best way to handle it. She had never spoken to him. He had microphones for everyone. We declined the sound package and were then told we would not have speakers or a microphone because our cellist did not provide them, and that their sound system was the best fix. His contract said otherwise, so I contacted him directly. He could absolutely bring his own system, but Mango Season had told him not to, because we were using theirs. We had never agreed to that. She also told me to stop talking to my vendors and send all emails through her. I am glad I did not. Every one of these came to light because I kept talking to them myself. She repeatedly asked for our room and safe codes. She wanted the codes to our rooms and safes so she could move our gifts and cash. At that point we had only ever met her over Zoom. We said no, and she kept bringing it up. We had family who could handle it. Annie did not retain what we discussed. After three separate conversations about cutting our cake early for photos and serving it after dinner, the cake came out immediately anyway. My mom had to catch it and send it back to the kitchen. We purchased a choreographed first dance with its own recorded track, documented in the planning platform she uses. No one confirmed how it would work. Her team moved our cellist and all of his equipment to the dance floor without asking, and it had to be moved back, costing roughly twenty minutes of the live music we paid for. The Wedding Day. We asked about a golf cart and were told it was not possible. My father called the hotel himself and they were happy to send one. Guests were told last call was 9:15. Our bar was contracted until 10:00, and our bartender told them he did not know why that had been announced. Our lighting was contracted until 10:00. Annie let the vendor break it down at 9:30 while we were still dancing. During dinner her husband came to our table to push us toward dancing. We had just been served our food. While we danced our last song in the pavilion, Annie and her husband shut all the doors on us and left. I cannot speak to their music and MC services. On the planning side, they need a lot of work, and I wish I had gone with someone else. Our wedding day was still beautiful. That was down to our venue, our other vendors, and our families, who filled the gaps.
