Cue Rev. James Chun--I send him an inquiry at 8:30pm on a holiday and get a phone call him from him within 15 min saying let's book your beach wedding. 5 days later, my in-laws flew down from the mainland and with my parents, brother and grandfather, witnessed a beautiful and intimate ceremony at sunset at Magic Island. James was not only professional and helpful in the whole process, but despite not knowing us at all, truly found the words to capture our love and curated a ceremony that was truly "us." I cannot recommend him enough and feel so thankful he was the one to go on this adventure with us!!

Front start to finish, it was the most amazing experience. The coordination was flawless and the service was top notch. We didn't get to meet our officiant Ellsworth until the day. The photographer and videographer made us feel so comfortable! The flowers were fresh and made beautifully. The hula dancer was gorgeous and the musician was wonderful. My hair and make up artist understood the assignment and they both made me look flawless! Our photographer Carson took over 200 photos and made us feel so special! Our highlight video and ceremony video were awesome. I recommend this company to anyone who wants to get married in Hawaii as they have the wedding planning down to a science. They have something in everyone's budget I loved that they took away the hassle of booking everything separately especially since we didn't live there! Thanks everyone!

After seeing the amazing reviews of Mark, I decided to inquire through their site. Carrie called me that night to walk me through and answer any questions since our wedding date would be just one month away. Carrie gave multiple location suggestions with photos and provided detailed instructions on how to obtain a marriage license in Hawaii. I was originally so nervous about getting married in a different state, but Carrie put my mind at ease! Each and every interaction clearly showed how much care they put into all their couples. When the morning finally came, everything went so smoothly. Mark's words were sweet with some added special Hawaiian elements that we absolutely adored. Even though we had just met Mark, having a private ceremony with just the three of us was not awkward as I had feared. Nothing felt fake or corny whatsoever. The ceremony itself was short and simple and exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend Mark and Carrie for any couple looking to have a memorable ceremony experience with some genuinely good people. Thank you again!

After deciding 6 months ago to have a vow renewal ceremony in Hawaii, I was completely lost as to what my next step should be. Our daughter lives in Kapolei and suggested an informal ceremony on the beach. I loved the idea and typed these words into Google search: beach vow renewal Hawaii Reverend. About half a page down in results I found the listing for Mark's business. I went to his site and filled out the simple request for more info. I was pleasantly surprised when just a few hours later I got a very sweet and personable letter from Mark's wife, Carrie. Carrie handles all the correspondence and scheduling for Mark and she is wonderful! She was so good with every detail and question that I had. She had the perfect suggestion as to the place for our vow renewal. Her responses were always prompt and very detailed. Within a weeks time I had mailed out the deposit check and secured our date and time. The day of our ceremony Mark was in touch by text and told us right where to park and where to meet him. The ceremony went perfectly and his words were exactly what I had hoped for. I loved the fun detail of having us kiss as long as he blew his note on the conch shell. I definitely recommend Mark and Carrie as your go-to Hawaii ceremony organizers and officiant. Thanks to both of you for helping us to have a romantic and magical day!

She brought a lot of joy and laughter to our ceremony. We actually also decided to slightly change our wedding location to a spot where the terrain was pretty awkward and weird and Pomai supported the decision and made it work! Her son, blew the Pu, and it was gorgeous! Blowing the Pu is no easy feat! Our musician Henry was so warm and kind. We thought he might only play music during some parts of the wedding but he picked songs throughout which made the ceremony feel more magical. Debbie, our photographer was extremely easy to work with and would coach us on where and how to stand so that we would have flattering photos. We planned the wedding in two months, so we didn't have the year leading up to the wedding to get fit! Debbie still managed to make us look absolutely stunning. We had a few sets of photos that we absolutely wanted and Debbie was really open to making those shots happen. This was an unbelievably affordable option for getting married and I can assure you, the quality was not compromised in any way. I got way more than I expected and would recommend the full ceremony package to anyone! It was so beautiful that my wife and I were back and forth between laughter and tears the entire time. I can only describe the whole experience of working with Kahu Pomaikai and her team as magical. Purely magical.

From the first message on yelp all the way up until the ceremony, Kahu Pomaika'i was extremely helpful, easy to work with, and professional. Kahu Pomaika'i helped me with every question I had and responded promptly to every email I sent. We ended up choosing the Makana package and later added a photographer, musician, and conch blower. Kahu Pomaika'i set up each of these services for us and each of these people were beyond amazing. Even though we only met these people fifteen minutes before the ceremony started, it felt like we were all family. The icing on the cake was when Kahu Pomaika'i included my aunt and uncle's daughter (who could not make it to Oahu) in her blessing. Kahu Pomaika'i took a moment to chat with my aunt and uncle before the ceremony and learned that one of their kids could not make it. In the back of all of our minds, we were sad that she wasn't there so when Kahu Pomaika'i included her in the ceremony we were all extremely touched and thankful for her kind words. Kahu Pomaika'i explained the meaning and purpose behind every detail included in the ceremony, and we could truly feel the aloha with every word spoken. Each word felt fluid and natural, not recited and bland. This wasn't a quick Las Vegas drive-thru ceremony, it was one of the most spiritual and meaningful events that I've ever witnessed and been a part of. Hawaiian Aloha Blessings showed us the true spirit of aloha. There was never any pressure, the pricing was simple and fair, Kahu Pomaika'i and her associates were a pleasure to work with, and the actual ceremony was more than we ever hoped for. If you need an officiant, you won't regret choosing Hawaiian Aloha Blessings. You should also consider hiring: Po'okela, as your conch blower. He assists Kahu Pomaika'i with the ceremony and blows the conch in all four directions to summon family ancestors. He's also Kahu Pomaikai's son! Adorable! Butch O'Sullivan as your musician. His vocals and ukulele create the perfect vibe for an island ceremony. He was so warm and kind and cool at the same time! Debbie as your photographer. She did an amazing job and really took the time to make sure the lighting and positioning was perfect for every photo. She didn't rush it and run off. She stayed after the ceremony to take more photos on the beach and in different areas of the location for both my aunt and uncle and the rest of the family. Mahalo Nui Loa to Hawaiian Aloha Blessings!

From the initial phone call we made, multiple emails, and text messages throughout the planning stages, Kawena is an amazing communicator. Mind you, she is very busy, but she always made time to reach out to us in a timely fashion, answering any questions we had. Our plan as a couple was to have an intimate ceremony on Oahu. We wanted something simple, inexpensive, while also incorporating something traditional to the islands, the energy it offers, and its people. Kawena and her team hit it out of the park! Her ceremony gave us goosebumps. We went with a package that included music from a Ukulele player, flower bouquet, Haku Lei (flower crown), Maile Lei for the groom, and a photographer The flowers were fresh, fragrant, and beautiful. The Maile Lei smelled amazing. Danny played the music during the ceremony, then sang to us afterward, while we shared our first dance as a married couple on the beach.
