I used to only be able to get Ben and Jerry's at the grocery store so it was cool to visit one in person. Pricing is equivalent to that of a cold stones if you ever been to one. Expect to spend more than $10/person. Lots of flavors to choose from. Service was pretty fast for me.

However if you're in the area, got $10 to spend and need a quick ice cream fix while enjoying a sunset walk, then this spot is definitely the mood.

After hopping off the last stop of the water taxi at National Harbor on a Friday night, we walked up to the Ben & Jerry's kiosk on the pier but it was closing up for the night. But the staffers suggested that we walk over to their storefront just a little walk further down. It's close to the pier. You'll see the storefront and outdoor seating that's covered by an awning - seating not just for the ice cream shop, but the other eateries there. When we went inside about an hour before closing, there were a good number of customers on line. For my husband, I ordered him a small, non-dairy ice cream (2 scoops in a cup); they had 3 non-dairy flavor options available - a cherry cheesecake, a chocolate one, and one with nuts that isn't commonly found where we live (I went with this one). For me, I went with one of my favs - half-baked - but splurged and got it in one of those ridiculous chocolate and topping dipped, waffle cones in a cup. No regrets. It was worth the extra $$ charges! The man who took and made our order was nice. I also grabbed a pint from the cold case for the fridge in our hotel suite - for later, back-up, you never know when you'll need :) This is a good spot in National Harbor for families with kids and ice cream enthusiasts? I mean, who doesn't like ice cream?!

Delicious ice cream with a great variety of flavors. The employee was super sweet and provided wonderful recommendations. It's easy to get overwhelmed because of all the options! Kinda pricey, but still worth it for the amount of ice cream they give you. They had outdoor seating, but I wish they had indoor seating as well. Solid spot for a sweet treat in this area. read more

We always forget about the National Harbor, but as we manifest spring into existence we made it an ice cream night. Great service by David, super clean shop, and the flavors and portions delivered. I found this ice cream shop to be overpriced. Sure the ice cream was enjoyable but the reason I gave it 5 stars was because of the service. My husband and I went there in the evening last night after dinner. 11/6/25. We walked in and it smelled clean and it was immaculate. The beverage refrigerator well stocked, the display cases stocked in an almost artistic way. The shop was beautiful and CLEAN. Then when we had our orders taken, the gentleman was really kind. He was very professional calling us "sir" and "ma'am". His personality was warm and he took care of his shop well. If he was the owner, you can tell he loves his shop. If he was an employee, he took great ownership over the shop and he seems to take great pride in being excellent. I don't know how else to describe my experience very well other than to just say I was so impressed by this Ben and Jerry's location. It was a very nice way to end our evening. The experience made the cost worth it to us. read more

Stopped in to see if they had any fun flavors that i would enjoy. It was empty inside, as it was freezing cold outside. There was only one employee inside but he was super friendly. Their pints options had some temporary flabors like their pecan pie pint which i got along with a waffle vanilla cone. Do yourself a favor and let her do the cakes for your next event! She threw in a free sweet potato cupcake which obviously didn't make it home Alicia's customer service is great. There are 3 criteria which I use to evaluate a cupcake experience and those are 1) buttercream quality, 2) cake quality and 3) price. Sweet Elevation checks off on all three. My mom and I came for free cone day, and they graciously let me pick up cones for both she and I as she has a hard time standing for too long :).
