Questionable hygiene in this store. Cookies left next to the sink behind the cashier registration. One of the staff members coughing in his shirt and then scooping ice cream with the same hand that was holding the shirt. Two of the staff members carrying trash bags outside the store and then coming back inside the store scooping ice cream without washing there hands. The store itself appears disgusting! read more

The first thing noticed was a gigantic smile and a warm greeting! I ordered a sundae and it was exactly what my sweet tooth was needing. As the only ice cream place open past 9pm in Manchester that isn't DQ, I was more than happy to stroll in and spend 20 minutes figuring out what kind of cone I was going to jam into a cup, because when it is hot enough for the ice cream to melt I would never let it melt down the cone (making it soft and gross) and over my hands. Plus this way I get to enjoy the best of both worlds. I don't need to waste time hemming and hawing over an ice cream flavor - that's easy. Coffee, Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz all the way. It's Ben and Jerry's!! I am so excited, even all these years after they first opened in Manchester, NH! We go infrequently because we are lactose intolerant, but when we want to super indulge we head to Ben and Jerry's! The ice cream flavors are delicious, especially anything chocolate based! We love their shakes, that they deliver and do curb side! They even have a walk up window! There are a few tables outside in nicer weather, and two tables inside- seating for four at each inside table. The outside tables also seat four but sometimes people move chairs around to seat larger groups at one table. The city also has a few benches along Elm St. or you could walk to one of the nearby parks to enjoy your treat! They have pup cups with little milk bones in them! The scoopers have always been friendly and fast! Free cone day is a must, even though everyone else agrees with me and we all queue up down the sidewalk in a long line. The manager, Lee, I worked with prior had great communication through the months leading up to the event, and was a hit for our wedding! Waited 20 minutes for two cones. No right to take your customers money and fill Grubhub orders and make everyone wait at the window during the pandemic. Clearly only looking to make a profit. It's a shame a tipped before hand expecting good customer service. Also great to unload from an event in front of the take out window. Clearly that person should be providing customer service during business hours. Set and unloading can wait till after closing. Good ice cream and friendly staff but the location has no free parking (parking meter). If you are lucky you can found one near the shop. The place is very small only can fix 6 customers inside. If you order online for pickup no need to go inside cause there a window on the side of the building for that. A banana split and small ( 2 scoops) was $16 with tax. read more

This corner scoop shop is located in Downtown Manchester, which is open year round and a great place for getting my B&J ice cream fix on hot summer days or even on cold wintery evenings. The place is a bit cramped inside and quite busy on nice weather days and on "Free Scoop Day." My favorite flavors here are the Coffee, Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz! and The Tonight Dough, which I usually get a large sugar cone. I need to grab some extra napkins too. The service here is pleasant and efficient and the staff here seems friendly on each visit. read more

Honestly, I have had enough with this store. The prices keep going up and it is almost a ridiculous price at this point. It was worth it for a while because the service was good, but unfortunately just not worth the 20-minute drive anymore. Every time I go in the service is fast but is not personable. Stopped in on Tuesday to get a cone. Was unfortunately treated awful by one employee with curly hair. Besides the fact that the ice cream was made messy, I was told the bathroom was out of order (I saw multiple customers going in and out of it). I used to love Ben and Jerry's, but I was heartbroken on my last trip. I think I'll be taking a break for a while, and hopefully when I come back, the service will be sufficient.
