When I first arrived, I had a little trouble finding the front entrance because there are several buildings on the property. Once I found my way in, I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and peaceful the grounds are. There is a lovely tropical area with a koi pond that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. They also have a really nice gift shop with so many unique items to choose from, including teas, crystals, lotions, and other fun wellness and self-care products. It was definitely worth taking some time to browse. I had a wonderful experience with my massage. It was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what I needed. My niece also had a massage there and had a great experience as well. Overall, I really enjoyed my first visit to Four Moons Spa and can definitely see why it's considered a hidden gem. I had an amazing massage with Violet, who struck the perfect balance between relaxation and therapeutic care. She listened to exactly what my body needed and I left feeling completely renewed. Thank you, Violet! My facial with Alexis was one of the best I've ever experienced. The highlights were the lymphatic drainage massage, the cooling ice globes, and the incredible hydration my skin received. My face felt sculpted, refreshed, and absolutely glowing afterward. Thank you, Alexis! The spa itself is just as memorable as the treatments. The people that worked there could not have been nicer. I got the day pass, which lets you use the amenities, but you're not actually getting a service. Unfortunately, the sauna wasn't heating up on that day. So I was able to use the hot tub and steam room only. They were only two lounge chairs and two chairs in the women's wet area. I just didn't feel like the amenities were nice enough to justify the price for a day pass. They do have a lovely co-ed seating area with snacks and comfortable seating and I loved the little almond baked goods. I would imagine that if I got a treatment and had the whole experience, it would've been better, but I just didn't think it was worth it for a day pass.

I was lucky enough to travel to Thailand last year and experience a proper Thai massage, and ever since then I've been dreaming about finding something similar here in the States. My fiancé searched high and low for a massage for my birthday and came across Emerald Day Spa, and I'm so glad he did! This was honestly one of the best massages I've ever had in the U.S. For a split second I felt like I was back in Thailand My body was so sore and tense before I came in, and afterward I felt completely relaxed. My therapist really listened to me and worked on all of my target areas. I already feel such a difference! I also had a great conversation with Peter at the front desk about Thailand, and it was awesome to learn that he was actually from the same area I had visited. It made the experience feel even more special and authentic. You can really tell that this family owned business truly cares about finding massage therapists who know what they're doing. They even offered me hot tea after the appointment which was delicious. If you're looking for an authentic Thai massage experience, I promise look no further. I highly recommend Emerald Day Spa and will absolutely be coming back! Thank you :)

I found Emerald Day Spa online and called for more information. Luigi, who I later learned was the owner, answered the phone and was incredibly helpful, patiently addressing all my questions and providing the information I needed. We scheduled our appointments for a couple of hours later. When we arrived, Luigi greeted us warmly and gave us the forms to fill out. These forms covered the type of massage we wanted and any health issues we might have. My wife and I opted for deep tissue massages, and while I was fine with the masseuse stepping on my back, my wife was not. We also requested to be in the same room. In the end, our rooms were adjacent, and the staff simply slid the wall between them to create one larger space. After 90 minutes of intense deep tissue massage, which at times made me want to scream due to my numerous stiff muscles, I walked out feeling relaxed and much better. The therapist seemed to find every tight muscle in my back, even some I didn't know existed, and worked through them with impressive skill. My wife, who is very particular with massages, was even happier with her massage! After our massages, Luigi welcomed us back, offered us a few pieces of chocolate while processing my credit card payment, and reminded us to stay hydrated. We chatted for a few minutes before leaving.

I preferred to enjoy the amenities inside the women's area so I could see less nip and tucked old women who were trying to be 20 years younger than they were. My favorite spa is Mokara at Omni in Austin and this blew Mokara out the water so I have a new favorite. The food was delicious. The spa itself is extremely clean and calming. The robes are so soft and the waiting room is extremely peaceful. The sauna is beautiful (couldn't use it because I'm pregnant). And you can access the spa amenities the entire day and access the pool. Now for the massage. I don't think the massage is with the hefty price tag by any means. For $300 for a 50 minute prenatal massage is already a steep price, and I'd rate the massage a 1/5. I know there are precautions that masseuses need to take when pregnant, but I felt no different after my massage. She applied the lightest pressure possible and basically it felt like I had 50 Minutes of lotion being rubbed in. She wouldn't touch my feet and maybe spent 5 seconds (not exaggerating) on each leg. There were times where she would just apply light pressure and pause there for a minute or more. She was very nice but for what I paid for it felt like a HUGE waste of money. So if you're getting a prenatal massage, I would go elsewhere. Also, when we were at the pool, we ordered a sparkling water with lime and were served a vodka soda, and had to find out the hard way after taking a sip and almost spitting it out. It's a gorgeous resort, but I don't think I'll be returning except to the restaurant.

I was the first appointment of the day and no one else was in the spa. Upon entering the AI massage room, everything look clean and orderly. The AI machine had remembered my music taste however, all my settings that were mentioned that would be saved were not and I had to re-Adjust them before starting (but that took only a minute and not a big deal at all) . The massage was good. I was hoping by the second time I would feel less lightheaded, but laying face down for a full 60 minutes is a bit too long for me, (I think 45 minutes might be better). The massage itself was great though and relaxing. After my massage, I headed up to the pool area (you are able to use the pool if you place a service over 45 mins long) and found a lounge chair around 11 AM. I ordered lunch from my lounge chair 11:30 getting their tacos, they were wonderful. I asked for them to be grilled not fried and they happily obliged. Great service both at the spa and pool area. The pool has a beautiful ocean view. It was a little on the busy side only because it was spring break, but I was still able to have an open lounge chair and there was space to hang out in the hot tub and the pool area with without it being too crowded. The restaurant right off the pool is absolutely adorable. Cute little themed areas are so tastefully done for small groups. The Seabird hotel is gorgeous!! I love the nautical feel throughout. It is very nicely decorated. After spending about two hours in the pool area, I headed back down to Sunny's Spa and enjoyed the amenities that were provided there. They have a beautiful large sauna, cold mist area, waiting area with a gorgeous ocean view and light snacks & beverages. I give the experience a 10 out of 10.

Instead, the session was centered more on removing my "energy," and involved mostly being rubbed with oil rather than receiving what I would consider a deep tissue massage. The massage cost over $200, so I expected the service to match what was advertised. In my experience, it did not. If you're looking for an energy-focused treatment, this may be a good fit. However, if you're specifically looking for a traditional deep tissue massage, my experience did not match that expectation.
