I got an "audiogram" from this. Joe is cheerful and friendly and put me at ease. His receptionist-and-more, Tom, is very helpful. I believe my hearing loss was not disastrous, but I was annoying people by making them speak loudly and repeat themselves. Also, I sometimes had to pretend to hear when I didn't. Joe guided me through the process of working with my insurance to get the best price. It turned out to be less than I had feared. I've been wearing the hearing aids for three days and I do see a difference. My fencing coach says he was getting tired of raising his voice in order to coach me, and I also now understand everything he says, whereas before I sometimes asked him to repeat or just tried to guess what he was saying. The hearing aids are tiny, almost invisible, and easy to care for so far. I am doing a happy dance over my experience.
