Such an amazing experience! Jillian and Lucy our instructors were awesome, funny, and helpful throughout the entire class. We booked the Try Clay making pottery class and it was perfect for date night. I loved the location making it easy to have dinner before or after the class as there are a handful of restaurants on Oak Street. My husband (the hardest critic) enjoyed himself so much, and was fully engaged throughout the process. We will be back in 10 days to paint and then kiln our creations. Looking forward to sharing the final product.

I had an amazing time at Bellyfire! There's a large selection of items you can paint. Alongside their wide variety they have a staff full of friendly people looking to guide you in any way you need. My spoon rest came out amazing!

You must go!! This was my first time trying pottery. We were a group of four, and we reserved a time slot on a Saturday. The place is very nice looking with the big open space and the shelves that line the walls with various ready made pieces to paint. I mentally picked out a few to paint when I return. I opted to make a bowl since it was my first go. Maybe I'll try something more complex in the future. Our instructor Luke was great! He explained all the steps and had a very hands on approach with showing us how to create!

Had Daniel as an instructor for a group class on Saturday am. Very informative did a great job on showing us how to move with the clay and the wheel. Will be back for private classes.

First, the instructor texted me to come in at any time during the week to complete the glazing phase of my pottery. When I arrived, she told me I couldn't glaze because a class was in session--contradicting the message she had sent. Additionally, their posted hours of operation were inaccurate. She originally stated the studio closed at 5 PM, but after I pointed out that the website listed 8 PM, she admitted the discrepancy. When it was time to pick up my pottery, they couldn't find my pieces. On top of that, the instructor's mother was incredibly rude. At checkout, I asked if they accepted both cash and card, and the instructor confirmed they did. However, when I presented a $100 bill (for a remaining balance of $45), they had no change. The mother repeatedly insisted I just "leave the remainder as a tip" three separate times. I had already planned to leave a tip, but being pressured like that was uncomfortable and unprofessional. When I refused, they then asked me to Venmo the payment because they didn't want to pay card processing fees. While the actual pottery class itself was enjoyable, the operational side of this business was frustrating and unprofessional. Clear communication, better organization, and basic customer service improvements would make a huge difference. Until then, I can't recommend Artsy Edge.

I am excited to use my voodoo cheese platter (with holes in the voodoo doll for tooth picks!) As if that wasn't nice enough, this stall is run by fantastic owners! My mother has purchased a fleur de lis magnet, and it made her remember New Orleans fondly, until (through no fault of the magnet) it got knocked off the fridge and split into five pieces. Even though it wasn't on their shop site, we were able to order a new one and it arrived today, looking very similar to the old one (but still unique). Thank you for your thoughtfulness and consideration, and coordinating this sale for my mother! Now she has a reminder of New Orleans again (but in a safer spot on the fridge)!
