When coming over for the initial quote he offered some design tips like putting a colored tile stripe in the shower which really made it pop. The tile work they did on our shower and floor looks fantastic, as well as the rest of the work they did. Their price was very competitive with other contractors. Ultimately we choose Carlson because Chris went into detail about how he would seal up our shower that was leaking behind the walls, the materials he would use, etc. When other companies just threw out a number. I attempted to fix the problem by adjusting the flow adustment in the valve, but to no avail. I began thinking that our hot water heater was going out. I called MK&B and talked to Al, the owner, and he came by that evening to check it out. ( I live close to him on his way home) and the next day he called to tell me he would have to order a new valve. ( be a few days to a week) Well about 2 days later on a Saturday morning he called to tell me he had the part and he could come by to install it if convienient time for me. I told it was but I kinda expected one of the people that works for him to come by and install the valve. I got to the house and Al was there to do the work, himself. Al proceeded to take things apart when all of a sudden, he said let me try this instead. Low and behold his sudden epithany, worked. Mind you he came by after bussiness hours, ordered and recieved part, and came by on a Saturday to do the work himself. All said and done I asked what do I owe you? He said " nothing , just write me a review on yelp, if would please". So I am with pleasure. Thank you Al and Mission Kitchen and Bath personnel for a job well done. The carpenters that showed up did a fantastic job but if John shows up as your contractor I suggest you look somewhere else for your remodeling needs. Even after several calls and requests to modify a simple door replacement quote he showed up the day of the install with the wrong quote information. This was for a small project as a test run for a bigger project we are planning on doing. All I can say at this point is there's no way we would work with them again. The total lack of follow up and lack of communication is unacceptable when it comes to consumer affairs. The only reason they get 1 star is for the understanding carpenters that did a nice job.

My wife and I had a bad experience with TASK construction. They will tell you whatever you want to…read morehear to get you to sign the contract. Once the contract is signed, TASK will reduce the scope of work and blame it on miscommunication. From start to finish they continually lie and never meet the deadline that they stated. The material delivery was late. The construction crew did not start on the day that they said. I took off a day of work on the day they were supposed to start and nothing ever happened. Once the construction did start, they didn't complete the work as promised. I had an old unused satellite dish mounted on the roof that I had clipped and removed the coax line. The crew was supposed to remove and discard the dish. Instead, they installed the new roof and mounted the dish, with no coax attached, back onto the roof. It took several phone calls to several different people at TASK and 1 month to get them to come back to remove the dish and repair the holes in the roof that the bolts left behind. TASK also leaves behind plenty of nails in your driveway and trash scattered throughout your property. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this contractor.
