It's very rare to see such customer service forward businesses in South Florida in general and in the pool cleaning industry specifically. Their team has treated our pool with care and professionalism and it routinely looks like a million bucks. This company really cares about the quality of their work and it shows. Also, the owner always makes himself available for any questions or comments which is super helpful. We have recommended them to many people in the area and will continue to do so. After a few months, they began skipping services, which caused my pool to turn green multiple times. When I asked about it, they convinced me the issue was my filter. I trusted them and replaced it through their company--only to later find out they weren't being honest. On top of that, my technician kept trying to sell me used products, and every time I raised concerns, the office completely ignored me. I've never been offered a refund or even an apology. At this point, it's clear this company is run by con artists, and I would strongly warn anyone against using them.

We hired Guardian Pool, managed by David Fredericks, to renovate our condominium pool in Miami. The…read moreassociation paid a deposit of $24,500 for the project. For 13 months, Mr. Fredericks repeatedly assured us that the pool renovation would be completed. However, the work was never started. We later discovered that Guardian Pool does not hold a valid license to operate or perform pool work in the City of Miami Beach or Miami-Dade County. Despite this, the company signed a contract with Normandy Shores Condominium Part II, Inc. to perform the renovation. We have requested a full refund of the deposit, but Mr. Fredericks has refused to return the full amount. Instead, he began issuing installment payments toward the down payment without authorization from the association. I question what you would call a company that knowingly signs a contract to perform work they are not licensed to do within the city or county--this appears to be clear fraudulent conduct.

While they are very friendly, we became frustrated with the different crews showing up each week-- they left the gate open multiple times causing our dog to get out (despite signs and repeated reminders), and never clean the salt water system filter even after we showed it to them. This went on for about 9 months I would guess. The final straw was when they showed up to clean the pool while there was a painting crew present two weeks ago. They told the painters they would come back later but never returned. When we followed up with the office a few days later about when they were returning we were told they had already cleaned the pool, and provided us a photo as supporting evidence. I'm not sure who is responsible for that lie, however, we have two cameras pointed at our pool AND our gate monitoring company sends us texts every time someone on our list enters the neighborhood. Not to mention the pool was still visibly dirty with lots of leaves and debris. We moved on to a different company, it simply wasn't worth the hassle.

For two months, John ignored my requests to fix their mistake. Didn't show up to appointments. Ignored my texts. When you try to call, their VM is full, so you can't leave a message. I finally went to the store, but Paul claimed he didn't know anything and was extremely disrespectful. Told me to leave the store after I asked for the names of the owners. Took my name and number and said someone would call me, but of course they never did. After spending thousands of dollars, I'm left with a huge stain the entire length of my pool. In addition... I hired them to clean the pool. They didn't show up for weeks and the pool turned green. Algae grew on the surface. When John finally did show up, he forgot to bring a vacuum. Really? He said he would go to the store to pick it up and come back, but he never returned. Again, I paid for a service which I did not receive. The list of complaints can go on and on. John seemed like a really nice guy at first, but once I paid in full and had an issue, they disappeared. Horrible customer service. Not professional. Unfortunately, it appears that the only way to resolve the issue is to sue them.
