They not only took good care of our two cats, they fed and watered them, watered the plants and took in the mail. They like animals and our cats received daily socialization in our home during our absence. Even though it had been a while since we used their service, Jayne remembered us and was pleased to accept our return visit. She came over before our trip to get the keys and to meet our newest cat. The other cat had passed since we last used their service. Jayne was also able to become acquainted with Miss Pooh. Jayne and Larry are great, Larry fed Mr. Bub cat treats and made an instant friend for life. We most recently used Fidos & Felines this past week and just arrived home early this morning to find our mail neatly stacked ready to read, a nice note from Jayne and Larry telling us about their week with our cats. Jayne texted us during our vacation to give us updates on the cats and we were welcome to do the same, if we wanted information about our fur babies. What I most appreciated was the peace of mind knowing that my cats were in good hands, being fed, having their boxes scooped and that someone was keeping an eye on the home front. I totally trust Jayne and Larry and would recommend Fidos & Felines to anyone looking for pet care in their own home in the Lee's Summit area.

I wanted an appointment when he could be groomed and then picked up. I had this in Ohio. I've been to a few places and none of them really got him right. I saw Nose to Toes was a mobile groomer and thought, hey, I'll pay a little more for one-on-one grooming service and she's came to me! I have a new baby so getting out is a challenge at times. She texted me and let me know she was running early! Not late but early and could she come sooner. Umm yes please! She came to my house and my pup loved her instantly. He was so excited. She took him to her truck and got started. She was finished relatively fast and my boy looks amazing! This is the best cut he's had....ever! His little tie is so cute! He also was still happy when she was done. The other places, he was skittish and scared after. He was the same pup! Price was higher but I attribute that to she came to me and he got private time and not put in a kennel to wait his turn. She's also a pet bakery and gave my boy a cute Easter cookie that he loved! If you live in the area and need a groomer, call them! She's awesome.

Everything in the store is made by someone in the program. That program supports people living with a disability. It's amazing! You can see where they do the sewing for all the toys and bandanas. They are also raising money to open a housing community for those with disabilities because it's often much more difficult for them to obtain and maintain housing. That part of the organization is called Belong KC and I bought myself a tshirt to support that effort! They also have a large selection of bandanas. The design that fits over the collar so it stays on! The treats are handmade and so cute as well! They have handmade toys for dogs and cats! I'm so glad I saw them while grabbing a coffee at 7 Brew and stopped in! What a wonderful organization to have in the community. I'll be going back for more! Hopefully, I'll remember to take photos next visit!

Our lives have much improved since Earl entered the picture; both us humans and our dog…read more Our one-year-old pup, Bogart, is a rescue. He is very sweet and loving, can perform a handful of basic commands (sit, lay down, stay, shake, drop (an object)), great with kids and other animals. BUT we couldn't enjoy walks because of his leash-aggression (only showing aggressive behavior on a leash). Off-leash you would never guess, perfectly normal dog. Zero issues at the dog park. Happy pupper. But on-leash, faced with a strange dog, he would bark and lunge and could not be consoled. We started walking him less and avoiding certain paths because it caused us so much stress and frustration. We felt defeated. We thought we had tried everything and were at our wits' end, so we decided we needed some professional help. After just two sessions with Earl, the help of a head leader (and lots of reading and training on our own); we can now comfortably and confidently walk our dog. We know if he starts barking, we are able to shut it down very quickly and bring him to a calmer state. We also have peace of mind knowing if we need a refresher or more advice, Earl is just a call or email away and will be there to help us. We may never cure his leash-aggression, but we can manage it. Earl says it probably stems from a past event, where he was attacked by another dog while on-leash. Not only does Earl make unlimited home visits, his fee also includes access to great reading material, training DVDs, and any equipment you may need. He trains YOU so you know what to do, not just your dog. Not to mention he is just a really cool dude. He really took the time to get to know us and Bogart. He is a genuinely caring person, and the success of your dog is important to him.
