I had a terrible experience with this moving company, and unfortunately, I am still dealing with the consequences more than two weeks later. On June 12, 2026, two movers arrived at 8:30 a.m. for my move. Shortly afterward, the company called and asked if they could send two additional movers to speed up the process. I trusted their recommendation and agreed. Around 2:00 p.m., I had to leave. Everything seemed to be going well until my wife, who was at our new home, called me after checking our security cameras. She noticed that two of the movers were standing around talking instead of working. Around the same time, my neighbor called to complain that the moving truck was blocking her driveway. I contacted the office, and they apologized. While these issues were frustrating, I considered them manageable. When the movers arrived at my new home, they asked me to pay before unloading, which I understood was their policy. They also informed me that I would be charged until 6:45 p.m. and that any unused time would be refunded if the job was completed earlier. The real problems began after the move was finished. One of the movers, who was professional and courteous throughout the day, informed me that my bed headboard had been damaged and showed me the damage. He also told me that the crew had finished one hour earlier than the time I was charged for. He called the office himself and advised me that I should receive a refund for one hour of labor for four movers ($240), plus an adjustment to the fuel charge, for a total refund of approximately $300. After the movers left, I immediately discovered that my brand-new 75-inch Samsung QLED TV had been severely damaged on the bottom-left corner. When I turned it on, half of the screen was black and unusable. This was a TV I had recently purchased so my family could enjoy watching the FIFA World Cup together. Today is June 27, 2026. More than 15 days after the move, I still have not received my final invoice, and I have not received the promised refund of approximately $300. I submitted a claim for both my damaged bed headboard and my TV. The settlement offer I received was not even enough to cover one-third of the TV's value. I did not accept or sign the settlement because I believe it is unfair and does not reflect the actual damage. I contacted customer service to dispute the settlement. After waiting on hold for nearly an hour, my call was disconnected. When I called back, I was told that my claim would be re-evaluated, but they made it clear that there was no guarantee the revised offer would be any closer to the actual value of my loss. The representative repeatedly told me that the settlement was based on the contract I signed, which compensates customers according to the weight of the damaged items rather than their actual value. My response was simple: I trusted this company. I trusted them when they asked to add two more movers to my job. I trusted them to handle my belongings with care. I never expected that they would damage my brand-new TV and then tell me that its value was determined by its weight. I also requested my invoice. I was transferred to another department, where I was told they were short-staffed and that my invoice would be sent the following day. That was over a week ago, and I still have not received it. More than two weeks after my move, I still don't have my invoice, I haven't received the promised refund, and my claim remains unresolved. This entire experience has completely broken my trust in this company. From the damaged property and broken promises to the lack of communication and poor customer service, I have spent more time chasing answers than enjoying my new home. Based on my experience, I don't recommend this company.

That information was never documented, and I had to repeat it in every conversation, which caused ongoing confusion and an inaccurate estimate. I was told the movers would arrive sometime in the afternoon. Around 2:30, I texted for an ETA and was told they would call when they were 30 minutes out. Later, I was told their prior job ran long and that due to driver hour limits, they could only do part of the move. Shortly after, I was informed they were not coming at all due to a truck accident and would need to reschedule. No confirmed time was ever provided for the next day. Because I needed everything out by the 31st, I booked another company and attempted to cancel. I first texted my move contact and was told to call, but when I did, it was 5:42 PM and the office was already closed. I waited on hold for over 30 minutes and then sent a cancellation email. Only after I had already tried to cancel by phone and email did I receive a text saying they had everything ready for the morning, despite never giving me a confirmed arrival time. Poor communication, poor documentation, and inconsistent scheduling. I would not recommend.

It took over six and a half hours, constant complaints of how a third guy wasn't sent, they didn't wrap anything other than my tv, and actually broke off some of the brick on my steps at my new place for how rough they were being with my belongings. And after all that.... A 5% discount. Please do not use Jaguar moving. You and your furniture deserve much better.

We were never told that or given the option to stop the move before it started. They proceeded to attempt to move one of the appliances. It fell crashing to the ground from the truck. The movers would not write the damage on an invoice. I was asked to pay for the move, and instructed the agent that I did not authorize the charge but wanted to speak to a supervisor. The agent said he would have a supervisor call me. Instead, they charged the card 10 minutes later, and no one called. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT WORK WITH THIS SHADY COMPANY!

Secondly, when the day came to move, they were prompt and again, communicated their arrival time and were there actually a few minutes earlier. They started immediately after walking thru the entire home to lay out their plans and how they wanted to load the truck. Every box I packed was taped and labeled to the area that the box will go to in our condo in Melbourne, and they had no problem making sure each box brought in was in the location I needed it to be. If I needed to change the location, they were courteous and obliged. They work very diligently and each fragile marked item was handled with care, nothing broke during the move! They set up our beds for Master and Guest rooms and made sure I was satisfied with the location. Thirdly...the condo we were moving into had two flights of stairs, one on the exterior and one that went up to the living room. Not once did they cringe when they saw the steps, but again, rapidly expedited every box and piece and never complained at all! Moving is a tedious and stressful thing to do and Assembly & Moving Services were the exact moving company we needed. I cant stress enough to other that need moving help....BE READY FOR THEM, BE ORGANIZED, AND MOST OF ALL, HAVE EVERYTHING BOXED OR WRAPPED, LABELED, AND TAPED UP, this will make your move and their move efficient and run smoothly! This is my first experience with hiring movers to help with a move, and let me tell you I could not have been happier with Bellhops! The registration process was quick and easy, I got an email soon after I finished with the details of my order and also received a phone call regarding whether there were any questions or changes for them to know about. Both of the guys who came were early and very friendly! They got right to work and didn't stop until the job was done. We had very heavy furniture that had to go upstairs and there were some tricky turns and spots but they rocked it! They even helped move up somethings we had moved in already but needed to go upstairs. Moving is a major stress, but being able to book quickly and online already made Bellhop 10x better than any local competitor. Neil and Robert were professional. There was some confusion because the 3rd mover didn't show up, but Neil and Robert were able to handle the move despite it taking longer. The only bad part would be that I had to call Bellhop after seeing the bill for $700+ based on the 3 movers and not factoring in the late start. I had a good experience and little wait time when calling customer support and they quickly refunded me a good amount. I'd use Bellhop again and would recommend it to others. read more

From start to finish, the move was flawless and totally stress free. On the Maryland end, Wesley E, Orion H, Tannon M were fantastic! They treated my furniture as if it was their own mother's! The Bellhops called before the appointment to make sure we were ready and to confirm where they were able to park. They work professionally and efficiently. They were careful with our belongings. Moved cross country, and just needed help unloading the truck and getting things to the 2nd floor of an indoor storage facility via an elevator. Both guys were prompt and friendly (we received pics and bios so we knew who to expect!), and very capable of getting the largest items off the truck. I had a simple job of moving some old furniture out of my apartment to a nearby dumpster. Other companies required a 2 hour minimum but Bellhops allowed me to book only 1 hour and I found a Groupon coupon to reduce the rate. The guys were great, showed up on time and got the job done quickly. I was very happy with their services and will recommend them to anyone needing help with a move. read more

On Feb 3rd, 2026 I hired two men and a truck. I had actually hired them previously but the closing…read moreon my new place was delayed. I was told that the hourly rate would be more then originally quoted but have never received my bill to know just exactly how much I was charged per hour. I had more furniture then originally anticipated and I accept that as a failure on my part. These men wrapped almost every item of furniture yet still managed to break stuff. One guy picked up my tool chest, after I stated that it was heavy, didn't wrap it just walked away. This item was badly broken upon inspection at the end of the move; I can only guess from being dropped. I did also have a small shoe shelf that a piece was missing from; with it being a plastic part I was unable to repair it. I've found many chips and broken parts in my stuff since, none that really effect functionality one such item is an antique custom built cabinet that is irreplaceable. These men, one in particular tried to push their way into doorways, causing damage to the corners and even took out a big piece of paint on my kitchen cuboard and a chunk from my counters; I hadn't even complained about that. I did however complain about the supervisor that showed up and took up the one guy that knew the mosts time for about 1/2 hour; I was fully charged for this time and quite frankly I want that money back! They never responded to my first correspondence and then tried to tell me to keep the toolbox for them to come and asses, but didn't send that email for over 2 weeks so it was long gone. Their sheer lack of accountability and excesive charges is why I filed a BBB complaint. Theyoffered a refund of 37.00 will cover my broken items and told me that I should have purchased additional insurance, EXCUSE ME!! I 've only asked that 1/2 hour credited back and reimbursment for the toolchest that I've had to purchase. I've filed a complaint, but that has gotten no where as they've not acknowledged it.

Arrival time was 8:00 am, they arrived at 7:59. Everything loaded in 40 minutes, driven to the new house and unloaded in under an hour. Property Damage & Negligence The most devastating part of this move was the complete disregard for my electronics. I provided professional TV boxes with foam corners; instead, they shoved my TVs into two-piece boxes with the screens exposed. Now, both TVs are ruined. One screen is visibly shattered, and neither unit will even power on. They took "professional" equipment and treated it like trash. 2. Price Gouging & Bait-and-Switch This company practices predatory pricing. I was quoted $579. Once they had my items on their truck overnight, the owner demanded $1,260. I felt completely extorted. He offered a measly 10% "discount" when I complained, but the final price was still double the estimate for a job that wasn't even finished. 3. Chronic Unprofessionalism The movers arrived 1.5 hours late and spent the first 30 minutes on the phone with their boss. Despite having a reserved freight elevator and a storage unit only 4 miles away, they moved at a snail's pace. They went "radio silent" for over an hour while I waited for them at the storage facility, later claiming their phones "died." 4. Incomplete Work & Reckless Packing * Abandoned Items: They left numerous boxed-up items sitting right by my apartment door, forcing me to deal with the move myself after paying them over $1,100. * Storage Disaster: They packed my unit so poorly that I can only open the door six inches before items begin falling out. Sentimental items were crushed and broken because they lacked basic stacking skills. 5. Zero Accountability When I sent the owner photos of the damage, he spent 30 minutes on the phone defending his "professionalism" rather than offering a refund for the damaged TVs or the unfinished work. He is a smooth talker who takes no responsibility for his crew's incompetence. I had to hire another company to fix the mess he made. Save your money and your sanity. This company is dishonest, overpriced, and will break your expensive belongings.
