Terrible customer service (believe ALL the reviews that talk about it). No one in the drive thru and zero customers inside. I walked in and was greeted with an abrupt "what you want?" (Lady w/ ponytail) There were 2 ladies in there and it wasn't like they were in a rush because they were cooking but like your presence was an inconvenience to her. I stopped here to get a few things to take to work. The bagel breakfast sandwich was fresh and hot. Apparently there were out of sliced cheese so they used cream cheese instead. Different- but good. The bagel was crispy and had a nice chew. I also picked up a ham and cheese croissant and a strawberry and cream croissant. I passed those off to colleagues but i noticed they were huge with an extensive about of dough. Nobody complained but I think you'd need a coffee or drink with all of that! read more

First time coming to this bagel shop and the sandwiches my bf and I got were so yummy! I got the turkey and cheese bagel sandwich and he got the ham and cheese bagel sandwich. Both were really good! However, I have one small complaint. Half of their staff was not wearing a mask! As a pregnant woman I need to be a little more cautious and unfortunately, we didn't notice until after we placed our order.  We like to support our local businesses, especially during these hard times, but we would like to see them follow safety protocols for the safety/peace of mind of their customers. read more

Owner is so incredibly rude. I pulled up to the drive thru but not all the way because I was looking at the menu online (for a minute tops!!) then a car comes behind me and I beeps at me so I pull up quickly and she goes "Oh! You don't wanna drive up!!!". But she looked mad and like why ask that question? Why confront a customer like that? So weird! Homegirl has bipolar disorder or some anger issue because she lashed out on me at the drive thru just because I asked her what kind of donuts she had this morning. Not a crazy question you can't see her donuts from the drive thru. But I couldn't hear her or what she had said because she was listing them to me far away. So I go, "Do you have like a chocolate with sprinkles?" Then she rolled her eyes super hard and proceeds to YELL, "I already told you!!! This is what I have!!." It's never that serious to be rude to a stranger, imagine I had a hard morning or something and I just wanted a bagel, her yelling at me for no reason would've been my breaking point, and over a donut?? One of my favorite spots close to home. Sam and his crew are always nice. He has had such a following that he knows his regular costumers by order. I love coming here to get bagels, they always have fresh ones and also have bagel packs of 6 on sale. I usually get my fix of lox bagel here. They also have shakes with or without boba. 3.5 stars. This place surprised me, especially after I came in and saw that the place is a bit run down. I stopped intending to grab a bagel but decided to get a tuna salad croissant instead. It was very good. Nice, flaky croissant. The tuna salad was plain and they asked if I wanted everything. I said sure since there isn't much I don't like...I've been known to make sandwiches with all sorts of things on them. So everything is: shredded lettuce, thin sliced pickle and tomato. My go-to is the breakfast bagel on sesame. Love it. Just tried an iced vanilla coffee and an iced mocha for the first time, and they were both ridiculously sweet and over flavored. Love this place. The owners are like my aunt and uncle that I now rarely visit. I was in the area and it was still before 11am so I decided, what the hell, lets visit the giant bagel! Heres the thing I should probably state first: I usually only go for the everything bagel with lox and cream cheese (and tomato and onion) and a coconut smoothie. I have on occasion got a ham and cheese croissant - but that's it. If you like none of those things, um, read another review? Now Ive been to Noah's, Schlotzky's and the like and although they do a decent job, I like my everything bagel/lox/cream cheese sandwich. of these bagels I can safely cast my vote and say I like bellflower bagels better. Not only is it not overpriced, the bagel just tastes, well, fresher. The wait is worth it because they make that bagel. It doesn't feel like its been sitting forever. Maybe I'm wrong but that's my experience. Let's go back to just the bagel: The top is completely filled with poppyseeds, sunflower and sesame seeds and dried onion. Like, completely crusted with seeds. Not sparingly. And the bagel comes warm and crusty and when you bite into it its chewy on the inside. Now before you cast me into the shadows of your mind like I'm crazy, I will say that this is probably not a better bagel than you could get in new york or some other reputable (probably jewish) deli. But compared to the bagel corporations I mentioned above, I prefer these. The lox is probably not of the highest quality, but its still good. Its slightly salty, cured and not much different than costco deli lox (which really isn't bad at all) the onion and tomato are perfectly fresh and provide a strong balance to the salt of the lox and the heaviness of the cream cheese. Like in-n-out, the everything bagel lox sandwich has a nice proportion of ingredients. No layer is too thin or fat. And like in-n-out, there will be scoffers who look at my praise and dismiss me as dumb. Whatever. I like it and still prefer this over the big boys. Also a favorite is the coconut smoothie. If you like coconut, give it a try. Its not too sweet, has the right amount of slush and is nor heavy nor too light. Again with the good balance. If you frequent donut shops and enjoy the ham and cheese croissants they serve, the ones served at bellflower bagel are a nice variation. They serve it baked inside of the flaky bun (in my opinion, its not quite a croissant, not quite a bun) and its not some fake white cheese goo either. If you're sensitive to salt, you might have the complaint its a bit too salty, but they're cheap enough to buy but then toss if you don't like it. To sum up, the people who work here are friendly and helpful, its pretty cheap, they have sandwiches and smoothies and boba if you want more than bagels, there's a drivethru, there's an old school giant plaster bagel...if you're in the area, give em a try. This place is a great little gem. My husbands grandparents live one block away and I've been wanting to try them since I saw the giant bagel the first time we visited. I finally made time during our most recent visit to Cali and I'm glad I did! They are very cheap but very yummy! For $11 we got a bagel breakfast sandwich, a toasted bagel with cream cheese, and two vanilla lattes. I am a bagel lover and the jalapeño cheddar bagel did not disappoint. It was soft, warm and fresh. The latte was also very good for a small shop. One thing to note is there are just a few places to sit and the outside seating is dirty so this is definitely a to-go place. Overall I really liked this place. If you're looking for some extremely fancy $6 cup of coffee, this probably isn't your place. They do however have very good iced coffee, and their breakfast sandwiches and deli sandwiches are very delicious and inexpensive. 10/10 on customer service as well. Will be returning more regularly.
