We booked a party for 10 at Bellevue Adventures for my daughter's 12th birthday, and it turned out to be one of the worst experiences. There was absolutely no guidance provided on the ropes course--kids and adults were getting stuck with no one to help. There was a staff member named Jack, but instead of assisting, he seemed more focused on his headphones and made no effort to support us. We literally had to shout to get his attention, and even then, he was unhelpful. This was extremely disappointing, especially for an adventure activity meant for kids, many of whom are new to ropes courses and need proper guidance. Sadly, it wasn't just us--other customers appeared to be having the same frustrating experience. For what is supposed to be a fun and safe adventure, the lack of supervision and support made it absolutely pathetic. read more

This was my first time, and my fam, daughter, 14, Husband, 50 and, myself, 45 with a previous knee surgery - did great!! The highest tree platforms are 80' in the air, with one nice long ride, two suspension bridges which were more scary to me than the lines, but a total of 6 1/2 rides and 3 hours of a fun trust/bonding activity to do with friends and family - totally worth every penny and every skipped heart beat!! lol!!! Had the best time visiting the Washington area and coming to Bellevue zip tour. We were led by Danny and Gunner and had the most fun. They are such an awesome duo! Tour guides Tino and Eden were AMAZING! The course is 7 different zips, there are a couple wooden / cable bridges to walk across and two ladders to climb to reach the platforms. The tallest zip was 80 feet off the ground and the tree canopies are another 30 or 40 feet up. It was so Peaceful and Beautiful in the forest. I was nervous to step off the platform and zip. Zero out of 10! I showed up 30 minutes early, went to check on, took 32 minutes of problems on their end before I was checked in, the zip line tour guides didn't wait those two extra minutes even though it was their company who had the problems, so I sat in my car for two hours waiting for my friends who actually got to go on the zip line. No manager was available to ask why the gift cards didn't work, as I found out later that night when a manager called me about an appointment the next day (one I never schedule), I'm the 3rd person this has happened to, and at least the manager was aware of the problems with the gift cards, however, none of them were available and the desk stag did not seem to know anything about the problems with the gift cards. read more

They checked our equipment multiple times, which made we parents feel like our kids were safe. The staff were awesome and I think this is a good first zipline if you've never done it. The staff were super nice and understanding to people who were extremely scared of heights. If you've been to other ones this might not be worth going to. I only say this as a heads up for anyone who's looking for a high thrill zipline, this is not it. I surprised my husband with this for a morning date. We absolutely loved it! It's been a long time since we've done any kind of adrenaline junkie stuff, and this was definitely that. Definitely worth the time (about 2hr tour) and cost. Danny and Nicole were awesome guides and made it loads of fun with some challenges and enthusiasm. They were encouraging and supportive to other in the group who weren't as thrilled with the heights. Everyone did all 6.5 lines plus suspension bridges and came out smiling. What a wonderful adventure tucked away in south Bellevue! Three generations of my family went on the zip tour and everyone had a blast. The guides are knowledgeable, fun, and helped me feel confident. Thanks Kelly and Coco! There are 7 zip lines total, 2 long, 4 medium, and 1 very short. They all feel different as they have different heights, lengths, and amounts of slack in the line. There are also two wobbly bridges. (Although I didn't enjoy the wobbliness, my biggest fear was getting a foot caught between the slats...) Throughout the course, the height never felt like an issue. Bellevue Zip Tour was absolutely incredible! We came in for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. We were worried about arriving on time because we hit traffic on the way there and thought we would be late. We called ahead of time to let them know and they were very kind and told us it shouldn't be a problem. The front desk employee escorted us up to where the rest of the group was and we were still treated kindly despite everyone else already being set up. They still took our time ensuring that our rigs were set up well and I never felt rushed or like we were inconveniencing them, I was nervous at first but I felt super safe with the whole process. We were scheduled together with a family of four which was nice to have some company up there for support, since it was our first time zip lining. The only thing that kind of sucked about that was that the tour took a lotttt longer had it just been the two of us. There is a lot of set up work involved with each line so if there was a way to ensure that we would be the only ones scheduled I think we would've done it just because it was our anniversary and it ended up eating a lot more time of our day than we thought. But that wasn't their fault at all and it is stated clearly on the website, just something to make a note of for anyone else planning on working it into a day's schedule. Our tour guides were Coco and Enrique who were both super kind and funny and made us feel very comfortable on our zip tour, they were always asking us questions and giving us mini challenges on each zip and it made it so fun and memorable. I would definitely recommend this zipline tour to anyone, it had great views and was extremely safe and comforting. They had complimentary lockers to keep your stuff in, gloves available for purchase, a portapotty right before you had to get set up, and even free stickers available when you were done at the front desk!! TLDR: a must try! Not scary at all! Don't forget to tip! Private parking lot. Check into a portable building in the parking lot. Be sure to sign any waivers ahead of time. Follow directions. Once you are geared up, everything is double checked and you feel super safe and secure. You also have two lifelines/backup lines each time you are tethered. I participated in the Halloween Zip which was so great!!! I'm acrophobic and this was not scary at all! It's very dark out after 7pm and you zip into nothingness. Not being able to see the ground really helped! As you zip you "sit" in your harness and it doesn't feel like you are dangling for your life like it looks. Just sit back and enjoy the ride! Just did a tour with them last weekend and it was fantastic. Our Guides were Konstantine and Aidan and they were both amazing. There were 9 people on our tour and 7 of us were friends but we got along with the entire group. I was so impressed with the level of attention our guides gave us. We geared up and they checked and rechecked our gear so we were perfectly safe and there was no chance of messing up. I had only done ziplining in the past in Germany where they say "go have fun" and then you're on your own so I was always afraid of messing up. No chance here. The worst part of zip lining is making sure you stop properly at the end and that was all taken care of by our guide Konstantine. He gave us THE SMOOTHEST stops. Wow. Like, I didn't have to worry AT ALL. I was apprehensive on the first line so I didn't go crazy with the challenge but once I knew how smooth that stop was at the end, I had no fears or worries at all. Both Aidan and Konstantine put us as ease, showed us challenges that they've mastered themselves and gave us plenty of encouragement to try whatever we wanted. I really wish the lines were even longer and that is my only complaint but this was a great treat to be able to do it so close to home. Who knew there was this giant patch of greenery in Bellevue!! Some tips: - $4 to buy gloves. Worth it. I thought it was a rental but we got to keep them. - There are challenges on each line - DO THEM. You only live once. Just try. Make a game out of it like we did. Have fun! It's safe and soo soo much fun. You won't regret doing it but only that you didn't. I have nothing but excellent things to say about this hidden gem located in the middle of Bellevue. The city has contracted with a group of Conservatory/naturalists to help guide groups safely through a canopy of trees with seven zip lines in to walking bridges. This is one of the most adrenaline pumping and peaceful activities we have participated in. They limit the groups to eight people each with two guides. The guides are experienced zip liners and naturalists, and very focused on safety and fun. The group is lead step-by-step through all of their safety gear including harnesses and hats. The gear is Check not once not twice but throughout the session. The tour can last between 2 1/2 to three hours depending on the speed of the group. Each run has its own qualities. The longest is 450 feet, the speeds vary based on how you ride and your weight (between 60 and 250 lbs). We looked into perfect weather which was neither windy or rainy or hot or too cold. This facility also takes corporate groups for team building. It is a definite MUST for adventurous kids, couples and families to do together. Wow, didn't know something this cool would exist in this neck of Bellevue, but I guess somehow they found land in all of Bellevue's real estate to build this. It was a solid 7 lines also, a great way to kill a few hours. You will be outside in the woods, so maybe go on a dry day where you won't get rain on. Upon the check in desk, you do have to do a slight hike to get to the top of the hill where everybody meets. You're welcome to bring cameras and what not, there won't be any professionals photos offered. I unconsciously wore yoga pants that were the same color as my skin(looked pink online when I ordered it) so it looked like I had no pants on in all the videos that we took. Hahaha. Had an amazing time with both the Zipline Tours and the Aerial Play day. You can tell the guides are well trained and like what they do. You feel safe at all times. We had Danny, Christina, and Constantine as our guides for the Zip Tour and they were great!! If you decide to do these tours make sure to tip your guide lol they deserve it. I did think it was a tad bit pricy for the level of "adrenaline rush" I guess you could say but hey, splurge when on vacation right? My son and I went on the Zipline Tour this summer for his birthday. We really enjoyed the whole experience and ended up there on a pretty perfect weather day. Well, if you haven't zip lined before, you might want to give it 5 stars. I have a prior zip lining experience, and this was my least favorite location. While the location itself is fine, the guides were boring and not engaging, the process of putting on the harness and getting to the first line - took 1.5 hours out of 3 hours. We arrived on time (10 min before) and had to wait 30-40 minutes (we were a group of 9), to start putting the harness on. Don't know why. The process of putting on the harness was unnecessary complicated "for our safety". As I said, I zip lined in three different locations prior to this one, so I have something to compare it to. Too expensive for the time you enjoy vs. the time you have spent in vain, with guides that are no fun. read more

This was our first experience with ziplining and it was fabulous, not least because of our amazing guides, Steven and Jenelle. Their stamina is simply jawdropping - I never realized how much work it would be for them. It took 3.5 hours to complete all 7 courses, because of having to gear-up and safety-check 8 people in the group, time after time. Yet throughout the whole affair they kept up their energy and humor, which in turn help us maintain our sense of anticipation and enthusiasm. They engaged us with stories about the forest and trees surrounding us, facts about ziplining, challenges for the daring, and more. The course was very comfortable for a beginner. I'd say that if you're a hard core zipper it might be a bit too tame for you. All in all though, it was a VERY reasonably priced experience that was super easy to access from town, staffed by guides who make you feel fully at ease putting your life in their hands. read more
