I have been going to a nail salon in Brentwood for a while. I often can't get back to get my nails done for 6 weeks or more and I've never had these kind of issues before. I decided to try Bellevue nails since it's closer to home. I was the only one in the salon and was there over two hours and had to leave to get my daughter from school so they didn't have time to finish the designs. Two hours should've been plenty of time. After leaving, I noticed one thumb was cut way shorter than the other and these are my real nails underneath. Immediately after they were done I noticed the nails were snagging on my hair and they pulled hair out of my head several times. Two days later the dip started to crack. Over half the nails have cracks in them. Then, I noticed the dip starting to separate from a few of my nails and because the dip wasn't properly capped my natural nails underneath started shredding. Finally, as you can see the thumb and index finger completely chipped and shredded my nails underneath. It was real bad. I went in and asked the manager for a refund or even partial refund while keeping the tip we paid for the employees who serviced us and she refused. I think in situations like this there should be a more accommodating return policy. I'm not one to leave negative reviews because people make mistakes and I have grace for others, but I do feel taken advantage of when the money I work hard for goes to a service that was awful and it even damaged my nails and pulled hair out. One of my nails broke while I was at church--just from clapping. I haven't been in a lot of water (besides doing my hygiene) or doing anything rough with my hands. This just confirms how poorly the nails were done. It's disappointing that not only did I leave feeling unappreciated and uncomfortable, but now the quality didn't even last a full week. I feel like they didn't care about giving me the respect or results I deserved. I genuinely love getting my nails done and don't mind paying for quality--but this experience felt careless from start to finish. read more

really had high hopes for this place. went in and for a dip manicure. left very disappointed with a very sloppy dip manicure. first nail broke in 48 hours. within the week two nails popped off entirely. went back to get the nails fixed, and the next day two more nails came off. went BACK and just paid for a new set. keep in mind this is a week and a half after initially getting my nails done (dip ALWAYS lasts me three weeks + and i've been getting dip for at least five year) it's now four days later and two nails have come off. within a week and a half i spent over $150 and multiple hours for two dip manicures nails that didn't even last a week. hate writing bad reviews, but at this point it isn't worth my time to go back and get them fixed. would not recommend. read more

Update- 3/8/20 - Ann did an amazing job as always...ask for her!! Her attention to even the littlest detail is what makes her the best!! See pic below....only issue- don't go on Sunday because they don't take appointments and I waited for HOURS!!! You never know if they are going to be busy or not....NO ONE told me when I checked in and requested her that it was going to be an OVER TWO hour wait!!! I would have come back if they were kind enough to let me know that, so I wasted half my Sunday.....MAKE AN APPOINTMENT Mon - Sat instead!!! Also, I think they raised their prices, It would be nice if the prices were listed somewhere to read instead of having to ask and also to be notified if they raised their prices. This is an update on my last review.....I made an appointment for my son and I to get a mani pedi....Ann took care of me-I always ask for her, she's the best and takes her time, doesn't rush and does it right... Nails fell off after 3 days. They were gel colored and it looked scraped after 2 days. They were not colored well extra gel residual underneath of the nail. Place looks clean, and nice but they appear to be biased. Again, maybe it was a bad day, therefore giving benefit of the doubt. Will not be returning. I came to this salon as the reviews on Google were good but i see now why the reviews on yelp are not as high. I went in 2 days ago for a dip soak off and a new set of dip nails with a little design on the accent nail. They were busy so it took a while but I didn't mind that. The lady doing my nails was heavy handed when drilling off my old dip but i figured some people are a little tougher and that's fine.... However she CUT both of my middle fingers, one from the clippers and not paying attention and the other one from FILING my nail so rough and again not paying attention to my nails. She was very distracted the whole time, constantly looking up and managing stuff around the salon. I'm not the type of person to mention when something is bothering me but I even pointed out how she cut me because that's not okay but she said a very awkward sorry, said she would give me something for it and never did. At that point i should've told her to skip the accent nails because while one is okay the other looks like i did it myself. I still tipped her the full 20% because i understand how payment in the industry works but i left feeling like i was scammed and ripped off and I've been getting my nails done since high school. read more

So I got my nails done (dip powder) exactly 1 week ago here. By Wednesday, i noticed my nail was broken. Called and they told me to come in to get it fixed. Finally made it back today. Not only did they fix the broken nail, but when she noticed other dips cracking she insisted on adding another layer . All for FREE. I would have rated this five stars because I used to believe this was the cheapest place to get a standard dip mani that lasts at least a month. However, it appears that they increased their price from $50 to $55 (including the $5 soak off of your previous polish charge). I don't have a regular nail technician, but as the other reviews have said, it's a hit or miss on how long your nails will last depending on who does them. It's been two weeks since I got my dip nails done and a few have broken, which came as a surprise. I find other places to be more consistent in quality no matter who's doing your nails. With the $5 increase, their price is the same as what other higher quality nail salons charge. I will say this is still the cheapest place I know to get a regular pedi, but I would only go back ​to get my toes done. read more

Do not go to Lynn! She is the nail tech that sits in the front left in the first chair, she usually has on a mask and wears glasses. She had a terrible attitude and shouldn't work with the public if she plans to come to work and be rude. I asked for bubble gum pink nail polish ( which I get 80% of the time when I go to a nails salon) but she told me that my nail beds was too dark and that I should pick a darker color! How insulting! This is my second time giving Lynn a chance and she is full of excuses! Instead of being helpful and assisting in finding a color that works best like most nail techs she chose to be rude and condescending and was of no assistance. I decided not to go back and forth with Lyn about my nails so I just asked her to do French dip nails instead. I politely asked if she could file my nails a little narrower because the dip nails were too thick and wide and she got an attitude. Did I mention that I asked her very nicely, and nothing about my demeanor or tone was rude so I was taken back by her actions. She then filed my nails aggressively and without warning got up to do a walk-in appointment and had a colleague finish my nails. It was extremely unprofessional of her and I would like to warn anyone who visits Bellevue nails not go to Lynn. Do yourself a favor and pick someone else. read more

Made an appointment a week in advance for 2 pedicures prior to my mom starting chemo for cancer. We didn't get our pedis at the same time. And the appointment time was not honored. I thought this place would be a lot better looking at the pictures and reviews but I dont like my nails. First of all I picked a light pink, she grabbed the one she said was the same shade that I picked and I told her I dont think its the same one, and it wasn't, it was a lot brighter, and not what I was looking for. Then the process of her filing my nails was horrible, they were not even at all, and completely lopsided, I had to tell her multiple times to redo them because they just werent even, and they still are not I have to fix them myself. On top of that I had a simple flower design I wanted and I asked her if she could do it, and she said yes, but she failed multiple times and in the end some look okay and others look like a blob rather than a flower. I should've stayed going to my other nail salon but just didnt want to pay as much but Its much better to pay a little more and get exactly what you wanted than something cheaper and bad. My nails would've looked a lot better if I had done them myself honestly. I also think I just got unlucky with the nail technician, because the girl next to me had way better nails. read more

This place is slightly above average. It's not the nicest nail salon I've ever been to, but it's certainly not the worst. It's hit or miss with who you get to do your nails (Ann is the best). Their prices are pretty normal, I believe it's 40 or 45 for a mani-pedi combo. I don't do fake nails, so whenever I go, I just get my real ones painted. They are usually chipped by the third day. The pedicures are nice. They do a great job with the massages, and I really love how the put hot towels on your legs after. The manicure is ok, it's not super relaxing like the pedi though. The place appears to be clean. They wash everything after they use it. The seats are comfy and have those nice massagers on them. Overall, if I'm looking for a good price then i would come here. read more

I really wanted to like this place, as I just moved to Bellevue and was looking for a regular salon. The place itself is very nice, clean, and modern. There was a nice selection of colors for both gel and regular polish. HOWEVER, there is apparently a "shaping fee" for coffin-shaped and longer nails that the technician DEFINITELY did NOT mention before starting (my sister would've changed her request, especially because she wanted almond-shaped to begin with) that took a regular acrylic set from $28 to $48. They looked nice, but the technician made several shortcuts (such as poor structure to the nail itself). When we complained, we were told with a shrug that was their policy. The NEXT day, one of the nails had broken off at the tip. We went back in to get it fixed and were told we could either pay $7 to get it redone or they would basically just file it down for free. So now the one finger is shorter than all the others. On my pedicure, I accidentally messed up my big toe, and the technician simply applied another layer of color on top (no clear coat) so I now have one matte and nine shiny toes. It's a nice looking salon though and good location so I went back. I sat by the counter as the only one waiting to have my nails done. I can't figure out why this place has "best of nashville" signs all over it. It is a very mediocre nail salon. Shame on me for returning multiple times, but it is convenient if nothing else. And clean. But that's about where the compliments end. Color selection is pretty random - some good brands, some not, some brands cost more than others (and not because they're no-chip), so that's kind of weird I think. Last time I was there, my manicurist spent the entire time talking to another manicurist about a third manicurist and what a jerk he was and the pranks they were going to play on him. A little unprofessional? Also, once when I got a pedicure, she smudged my toe as she was pulling off the little toe separators (which I hate anyway) and then REFUSED TO FIX IT. Hello??! I was pleasantly surprised to find new chairs, staff that greeted me and the new love of my life, an man named Bon. Bon doesn't know we are going to have a long and happy life togerher but I'm all in until the courts serve me w a restraining order. He was all I wanted in a man. Effective, silent and a tremendous hyponotic massager of legs. No tickling, scraping me like a potato or other torture. It was divine. Hot towels, non greasy oil and a quiet spot. The set up isn't spa like by any stretch but it's a great relaxing go to spot for those of us tired of fighting Green Hills traffic. read more

This is a typical set-up for a salon......6 chairs with technicians across from 6 more chairs with a sink in between the 2 rows . One can't help but watch what is going on across from you. As I am almost finished with my pedicure I watch the nail tech across from me get up to retreive the hot towels for her client. As she passed the sink, she hocked a wad of spit into the sink. I will never go back to this salon. This is unacceptable behavior for any sort of business. They also STRESS that a check would be appreciated, no debit or credit cards. Clean, located close to my home. $25 for a pedicure, which I would typically be against, but it was definitely worth it. My toesies look cuter than they did when I was a tot, and that's a tall order to fill. They were really busy, but I got in a chair immediately and the service started soon afterward. While the receptionist was extremely friendly, helpful, and great, & my tech was friendly enough, many of the employees seemed to possess a very uncaring attitude, and the one next to me seemed extremely rude...in fact, I was supposed to sit in that chair, but coincidentally moved myself to the next one over. I'm updating my review of Bellevue Nails after the terrible customer service experience that we had today. The lady who did my mom's pedicure was really nasty to her for no reason. My mom thought the woman had cut her and the lady got an attitude about it. My favorite part was when the woman offered that "if I cut you it's your fault for jerking get your foot back". Umm. Nope. We won't be going back. Ever. Which is too bad because we went there with some regularity. We will find another spot. Boom. --------------------------- I've had pedicures all over. Different cities, different states, but this gem was right on! I've had several different salons cut me with their tiny razor sharp scissors when trying to de-cuticle me. This has made me very skeptical but I'm a believer in Bellevue Nails after my pedi last weekend. My nail tech was Bon, and while he was very quiet, he was tender and purposeful with my feet and toes. (Also, I don't have gross dinosaur toes or anything, so there is no reason to cut my precious and sweet tiny toes). This salon can get crowded, and if you're looking for a posh Green Hillsy experience, you might not want to try this place. However, if you are looking for killer pedi at a fair price that looks great, feels great, and lasts and lasts, give them a go! I highly recommend! read more

I last visited Bellevue Nails in late May, just before I left town for an important trip for a family event. I was thoroughly disappointed in both the quality of service and the way I was treated by the staff. I will not be going back to Bellevue Nails, despite its convenient location and reasonable prices. I arrived around 6pm, coming as soon as I could from work. I asked for a pedicure and an eyebrow arch. I was immediately seated in a pedicure chair and was told I would be helped in 5-10 minutes. 45 minutes later, I asked the girl who placed me in the chair when I was going to have my pedicure--my feet were pruning at this point and the bubbling water was no longer a pleasant sensation on my legs. The girl rudely told me she wasn't sure and walked away before I could ask for what is, supposedly, a complimentary beverage. Finally, after almost an hour of waiting, I finally had my pedicure. The man who worked on my toes was clearly upset that he needed to give me the pedicure, since I would still be in the shop after it closed at 7:30. He quickly and sloppily performed his work, leaving excess paint on the edges of my toenails and skipping the leg massage part of the pedicure altogether (that is NEVER okay in my book). As he finished my pedicure, he asked me to pay for the service so I could leave as soon as he was done. When I asked about my eyebrow arch, he told me it was too late and I'd have to come back tomorrow. When I said that that wasn't an option, he told me it was too late for me to have my eyebrows done and I'd have to go elsewhere. I paid him for my pedicure, and when I didn't tip him due to his poor service and technique, told me I needed to leave immediately. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Bellevue Nails and I will encourage my friends and others in the area to also stay away. I'll go to Hollywood Nails down the street, which isn't nearly as nice, but the people who work there are friendly, competent, and actually want my business. read more

When I moved to Nashville from Southern California I was worried I wouldn't find a nail salon that I liked as much as the one I had been going to back home. I tried every nail place in Bellevue and wasn't thrilled with any of them. I couldn't find a place that shaped my nails the way I liked that had the selection of gel colors I liked. Bellevue Nails was the only place I decided to come back to for a second time. I was hesitant to come back after waiting for almost an hour at the pedicure chair without anyone coming over. But I was overall happy with how my nails and feet looked and I loved the selection of gel colors. Overall the price is on par with the other shops in the area and I haven't had an issue with waiting since. My nails can go 3 weeks between fills without lifting and the shape is always perfect. read more

I was in the market for a new nail place after my horrific experience last time at Pro Nails (see my other review). I decide on Bellevue Nails because it is right across the street and because of the best of Nashville 2010 signs. While I don't think it was the best of Nashville by any means, my experience was solid. I went President's Day afternoon, since I had the day off. It was pretty busy but I got in a chair immediately. The staff was not overly friendly and there was no one to greet you and I had trouble understanding the directions given to me. They use the tinfoil method to remove gel polish, which I'm not a huge fan of but whatever. It didn't take too too long. The manicurist was competent and efficient. There wasn't anything spectacular about my experience but there also wasn't anything horrific about it either. They had a decent gel polish selection and so far so good, no chips.
