The upper floor was a sit down restaurant with menus. We chose the lower level which was the buffet and we weren't disappointed. There was a good variety of salad, soup, main course and dessert. If you are ever in the area , I highly recommend going there, you won't be disappointed.

We had a great spot in the booth so prime visual of the TVs and the rest of the restaurant. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating and our food didn't take too long. It was the first weekend after their off-season and the only people working were the husband-and-wife owners (she serves, he cooks). They handled our big group with such ease and kindness- it was seriously impressive. The service was wonderful, the food came out hot and fresh, and everyone in our group loved their meals. But I have to call out the biscuits and gravy... they were to die for. The biscuits were moist, clearly homemade, and the sausage gravy was hearty and perfectly spiced. I reheated my leftovers the next day and somehow they were just as good out of the microwave, which says everything about how well they're made. I live in Muskegon but will happily drive back to South Haven just for those biscuits and gravy. Creekside Kitchen is a gem, and I can't recommend it enough.

The indoor/ outdoor space blends together in the warmer months with cool hangout spaces and game areas. This place is truly a work of art. Drink lists abound, but because it was lunchtime we stuck to food. We were not disappointed. Everything was well conceived and delicious. I can't wait to come back and try the bone bread next time, stew and scrumptious sounding salads. Today we had the kids smash burger, Brussels burger with frites and fried haddock and frites with a delicious coleslaw. The best part? Different sauces to choose to dip the fries in. The curry ketchup was the best (special shout out for *actually* cooking the curry into the ketchup) as it did not taste of raw curry. They definitely don't cut corners here. We noticed, and we appreciated it. We will be back.

Yes, they have a small parking lot, and don't fret if you have the park on the street like we did, as we were seating promptly and it didn't feel too crowded. Since we were seated at high tops near the bar, the bar tender was our waitress, and she is literally the nicest, good energy, engaging human ever! She also whips up the custom, creative mimosa recipes, kudos to her for her awesomeness! I ordered the Shakshuka, flavorful, delicious, would order again. Even as a non-vegan, it was satisfying and would recommend to everyone. Husband had the 1964 Worlds Fair Waffle, and it was tiny. Not what you envision when you think of Belgian waffles. He also ordered the Belgian Forest Bacon, again VERY small portion, so much so that at the end of the meal, he had to order a side of the Smashed Maple Sausage. Both our drinks (I had the mimosa) were fantastic and worth ordering, loved the glassware! Aside from the small portions of waffle, bacon, and sausage, the cheerful vibes here are contagious, and I'd dine here again in a heartbeat!
