I went back for new front tires today. My vehicle is a 2005 Dodge dakota. I first went to Bell Tire in April of 2005 to get 2 rear tires. Today I noticed an ad for the same tires for the front. I called and they said bring it in. So I dropped it off and got 2 tires today in less than 3 hours!!! The staff is great....they really work to satisfy the customer! Went to have a slow leak repaired. Was told my tire treads were at 2 in back 3 in front. Recommended all new tires, quoted nearly $1000. Tire could not be fixed so I left. Came to Discount Tire today to get a new tire to replace the one with the leak. Was told my tires were fine treads were at 7. read more

Less than 1 star. (5) 245/65R17 Continental cross contact LX25 tires installed. So many things wrong here. For example at the end, tech parks vehicle in a clearly marked handicapped spot across from the door. I swore if I got ticketed they would be paying for it. I had $120 belle bucks plus a manager $100 off due to scheduling screw up. Mentioned both at arrival. At checkout was told I couldn't use both and belle bucks expired 10 days later. Lock on spare was blocked by grit so I told them to cut the lock. Instead they cut the cable, so loss of both items. Mid-visit was told Highlander needed both control arms and sway bars replaced. Over $2600 estimate. Went to certified Toyota mechanic for second opinion (unfortunately had to wait a month), he stated that nothing needed replacing. Also pointed out that tires were 2 yrs old. Called up Belle Tire manager and said I wasn't satisfied with 2 yrs old old tires and wanted them replaced. He flat out said no. He said selling 2 yr old tires is STANDARD. When I said no it's not. He offered to reinspect the control arms and sway bars. I said no, the issue was the 2 yrs old tires. He then went on to say that 17" tires are NOT STANDARD as if they were some special order thing. They are not. Bell tire sells multiple manufacturer brands of 17" tires right now. When I said he was making stuff up he said I was disrespecting him. Seriously? I didn't even call him names or cuss which is really what I wanted to do. Do not use the Alsip Belle Tire. They'll scam you into unneeded work and sell you old tires. read more

Prices for tires are all up front. All the people I have dealt with have been excellent. They don't include an alignment when the install so be prepared for a possible addition. It is for your safety and well being of the vehicle so it's not too bad. read more

We stopped at this location after we noticed we had a flat tire. We arrived at 5:30 pm, they close at 6:00 pm. As we came in, we noticed a weed smell. There were no customers. One of the employees was sitting at one of the chairs in the waiting area. We explained to the person at the counter that we had a flat tire and if they could replace it. He said it was not possible, they were working on the last customer for the day. Straight up unhelpful, not service oriented at all. A car place that can't replace a tire in 30 minutes, that is shameful. read more

Part Two I get a phone call to come back because some how the tire is available now and I agree. On way back the manager call and ask if I want the tire because of my review. I'm confused because I just agreed to come back but tell the manager we can talk when I get back. Long story short he is upset with my review, tried to accuse me of being hostile when I suggested the associate asked me to come back, I agree, why are you calling me? Well it's because he's offended and sis's the review was not fair. He concluded with get out of my store and don't ever come back. This store has bad reviews and now I know why..:it's the Managment in Alsip. I really like Belle Tire but there is room for improvement. I called at 830 this morning regarding a tire repair via my warranty. The guy had info on all vehicles in the home and asked which one I was calling about without telling him my name...nice. Explained what I needed and he confirmed the tires I have on my vehicle. I assumed he also checked the tire was available...I was wrong. I waited at least 2hrs only to be informed my tire would not be available until Friday. My last visit was to MattesonBelle Tire. I think I'm going back there as all Belle Tires are not created equally. I didn't leave discount tire for this nonsense. My time is valuable and this is a flaw in the process. The Oaklawn facility is terrible at their sales. I went into the shop to repair a leak in one of my tires. Ms. Ortiz delivered a subpar sales tactic. Did not want to look at the tire. An experienced tech wasn't even suggested. Ms Ortiz told us you need 4 new tires. Leave this place alone. Poorly administered sales tactics. Doesn't care about choices just money at your expense. read more

I had a flat tire and they didn't have the same tire but one similar and the service was fast.

Nothing wrong with the actual service to my tires that I've noticed just yet as we just picked the car up tonight. We went to pick up the car near closing after calling and they said it was alright. When we walked up our car was up front and a few techs were outside the garage right next to it. We asked the tech (not sure what his name is but he had dreadlocks and I believe a tattoo on his neck) if he had the key for the car, as the business was closed at the time. He said "no it's inside", with an attitude. As we walked away to go inside the building, we heard "why the f*ck you walking up on me? does it look like I have the f*cking key on me?" And then laughed with the other tech. Loud enough for us to clearly hear two steps away. I'm in customer service and to me it doesn't matter if your closed, you're still on the clock and agreed to allow one more customer to pick up their car, you should be professional and polite. The only reason I didn't say anything at the time was because the man who helped us inside was very polite. Still, we won't be back to this location. read more

Set up to have tires changed. Was supposed to be done in a couple of hours. 4 hours later they call. Well you need new sensor. Ok well no than you to expensive. Ok well work on them. 10 mins later well we have to put the sensor on there meta so they have to go on. Well than don't worry put my old tires back on. All of the sudden now they can just put on non tps stems. Thought about it call back. Gentleman is gone now. All of the sudden car is done. When I say just put the old tires on and they will but it will cost me 120. Can I speak to any one no the manger left. They guy working with left assistance manger will only give if I pay for the remount. It is up sale for everthing and different story per person that you speak with. Would not recommend. This is my second experience with them not worth the run around. Will post with issue resolution when I know. 9 months ago I brought my vehicle here for a tire rotation because free rotations came with my tire purchase from them. After that visit one of my hubcaps was missing and the manager refused to reconcile the situation at all. I went back to today, despite my better judgement, because it's supposed to be free and they are close to my house. I called at 2 today and talked to the assistant manager, Rashea, he asked if I could come in at 5 for the tire rotation, it would be the last thing they did today. I agreed to be there at 5 and moved some things around to keep my appointment. When I arrived at 5 I was greeted by Rashea and he immediately told me they don't schedule tire rotations at all. I asked him then why did he ask me to come in at 5 for it? He pretended like he never spoke to me on the phone and never made an appointment. He said he's got people that have been waiting in there since 5 hours ago. Horrible time management and disrespect for other people's time. All they care about is selling you the tires and won't stand behind their promise of warranty. I wish I never left discount tire, the customer service and work pride is much more prevalent at discount tire than at this joke of an auto service station. read more

New place in town, and we needed front end work. OKed $1100 in parts and labor, but talked to Service Writer first and asked about 10% off that was all over their ads on FB and website. He assured us he would "take care of it" when we picked up our car the next day. What they did was take $4.00 off the $1079 bill, saying 10% was only off a $40 part. Welcome to Belle Tire way of doing business. Won't be back, this is the Corporate Way of doing business. They are opening stores everywhere and as usual the bottom line is what matters, not honesty. read more

I am extremely happy with this location. Mike the manager was upfront with what needed to be done to my car. The service was fast and the price was fair. They have a flat screen TV which they changed the channel to children's station so a young child could watch. They care about their customers. I will recommend this location to anyone that needs their assistance. read more
