When lease renewal came up for 2023, Bea the office person at the time presented me with a new renewal rate of $2200/month. They also were going to start charging $35/mo. for the storage units that are there for each tenant! What greed. She must've been smokin some potent stuff for that delusion. During my last year there, I had a disgusting river of poop and stagnant water come up through the master BR shower all over the floor into my bedroom. It was disgusting. You also would have to pay him out of pocket to do things in your apartment. Where in the past in other apartment complexes maintenance has done the same work for free during working hours. Samantha, the receptionist finds it humorous when your vehicle can be damaged on the premises if Duke energy or any other company decides to do grounds work, construction or maintenance. As a matter of fact, staff won't notify you or investigate your concerns until you bring the situation to their attention. They seem to be oblivious to multiple adults living in one bedroom apartments. The gym door is either broken or treadmill doesn't work. There are various areas where they could improve if they wanted to. Go where you are appreciated and will get quality service.

I'll list just a few ways, and the worst one is last. It took THREE separate requests to get our dishwasher fixed, and every time we were told we didn't submit the request right. Maintenance tells you one thing, the office denies it, and then they act like you're the problem. It's the way they talk to you that is so disrespectful. We were threatened with a $50 fee for leaving a Roomba outside our door for a day to dry. A maintenance worker made inappropriate comments about a female resident "smelling good" and wanting to be around her, which is creepy and unacceptable. They either don't understand their own lease or choose to ignore it. They repeatedly tried to tell us we had to report a service animal when the lease clearly says otherwise. They also recently switched their water supplier, which over tripled our bill. And then they lied about the way that the amount was calculated in the past. I don't know why they would choose a company that currently has multiple lawsuits over price gouging their customers. The final situation was beyond unacceptable. While dealing with a missing pet, a maintenance worker told us he would throw our poster away, then came to our apartment, raised his voice, and refused to leave when asked multiple times and only left when I pulled out my phone to record him . Management blindly believed him without questioning anything, called the police on us, and had us trespassed from the leasing office based entirely on his version of events. This maintenance worker tried to tell the staff my boyfriend was aggressive, meanwhile the actual truth is my boyfriend wasn't even outside. The worker was yelling at me and not leaving despite me asking multiple times for him to stop talking to me and just leave us alone. But yeah, my boyfriend who wasn't even present is the aggressor. They even told police there were "previous aggressive incidents," which is completely false. The fact they call my boyfriend aggressive for saying the word "fuck", but don't consider their own maintenance worker aggressive for coming to my home and yelling at me and not leaving is insane. I've never experienced anything like this. And they refused to even acknowledge that this incident happened with me. Just know if you live here, the maintenance workers are allowed to be aggressive and far 0 repercussions or even be questioned. And now that they know they can get away with it I'm sure that they will be motivated to be inappropriate with other residents. I strongly encourage anyone, single female especially, do not consider this place if you value feeling safe in your home. At best, this place is disorganized and poorly run. At worst, they lie, gaslight residents, and take zero accountability, and actively put their residence in harms way by hiring aggressive maintenance workers. You are treated like you're in the wrong no matter what. Would not recommend. If you do decide to live here, please be aware of the maintenance worker who is pictured here. He will be aggressive towards you for no reason, and then lie about it, and the leasing staff will take his side while at the same time refusing to speak one word about it with us or take our phone calls. We will never make a maintenance request as long as we live here again at fear of this guy being in our home. Ill be posting him in all the local Facebook and other social media groups, and I'm interested to see what other people's experiences are because I know I can't be the only one.

Good points sure they are but charging this much for the water being turned off all the time. Every other outlet working in the house. Poor quality internet due to old wiring. Some units water gushes some they dribble. They won't fix it. Not sure if they can. Washer and dryers from the 90s. Seriously. Before this new management bought the place it was a really good place to live. The homeless population is increasing.

The Boulevard was beautifully maintained before and had gorgeous flowers, bushes, trees and lawn. Now it's dried out and unkept. Because of the lack of security, more random people and teens are using the pool and amenities all hours of the day/night. Using the grill areas are now disgustingly dirty. No one cleans the tables, chairs, surface areas or changes out the trash cans. This also includes the gazebo, pool and pool bathroom areas. They are so dirty. Most of the "luxury" amenities are broken most of the time as well. This includes the inside lap pool (if that's what you call it), car wash hose, car vacuum, and inside amenities such as ac not working for a month inside our apartment! We moved out once we saw the increase in rent by hundreds of $$ a month, plus adding mandatory cable/ internet, parking, doubled trash pick up and a much lower standard of living. The Connor Group is the absolute worst. Read reviews on all of their properties also on the Better Business Bureau. Do Not rent anywhere that this group owns. You'll save yourself a lot of grief and money.

i was scheduled to move into a bigger unit. after I have packed and scheduled movers the office…read morecalled 12/26/2024 to inform me of the resident not moving. the office should not inform anyone of an apartment available until the residence has moved out, not when they give their notice. money greedy!! so now they have inconvenienced me with stacked up tubs ready to be moved. i would not refer anyone to these apartments. they never have their crap right and it's always an issue with something. i have scheduled my surgery around this move, and i do not appreciate their carelessness. the only reason i was staying and moving to a bigger unit is because the rent was a little cheaper than others. i'd rather pay more rent and be happy than continue to go back and forth with this office/company. another review with pictures coming soon once i have moved.
