I have been living in this apartment complex for 2 years. The first year went okay. The second one…read morehas been pretty rough ...from parking lot problems, remodeling and upgrades in the complex to maintenance issues. Our last saga was with the AC. It has not been the first time we have reported issues with the air conditioning systems. Last week the AC stopped working and the temperature rose and stayed at 86 degrees the whole day. We followed the rules by sending emails to let the maintenance team know what was happening, a total of 4 emails were sent out and 4 calls were made. Total silence. No one contacted us. No one came. It was a hellish day and an even nightmarish evening. So, my question is, what is the point of having an emergency maintenance email and a phone number if no one is going to have the decency to at least give you a call back or a text saying they are busy. The leasing office and management needs to do a better job at streamlining rules, guidelines and protocols in place Rent there is not cheap and I feel I am paying to get my buttons pushed on a regular basis.

I want to move in with him. The lobby is huge and sparkling, like a fancy hotel -- but more empty (not so many sofas & such). It basically lets you out onto your porch, if you'd like to think of it that way. WANT. Then, the inside of his place... 2 good-sized bedrooms (one with a walk-in closet), each with its own bathroom (one with a shower & a bathtub -- separately (WANT) -- & the other with a shower). A huge kitchen that's open to the huge living room area, complete with new (as of 3 years ago, which is still new in my book) fridge, microwave, & oven/range WITH A CONVECTION OVEN. WANT. Basically, the sweetest place I could imagine. Lacking a balcony, I suppose, but considering the floor-to-ceiling windows along the whole living area, the top halves of which open, I think I could live with that. Also, this place has its own gym in the building. WANT.

The maintenance staff usually come same or next day after requesting their services and are great. Amenities are well maintained and kept looking nice. The apartments are decent, and exactly what you'd expect from a slightly older building run by corporate entities and a bottom line. Nitpicky details: If there are broken rules that impede on the convenience of the staff, it's addressed in a lengthy email. If the only ones bothered are residents, they don't do much. My primary example is pet waste. People just leave dog poop everywhere and I can't even use my porch on a windy day because it just smells like old, hot, poo from all the pet waste people don't pick up and the office doesn't address it.

Absolutely do NOT rent here by any means. Unfortunately Providence has gone straight downhill in…read morerecent years. When we first moved in, the property management was extremely kind, attentive, caring & friendly. Staff changed, and now it is a nightmare to try to work with them. The current management has been nothing but nasty and rude towards us, and our fellow residents. Specific issues with assistant property manager Deana, who has been extremely rude, inattentive, unhelpful, and baselessly calling us with accusations. My partner and I had rented for 3 years. Rent paid ahead of time every month, maintenance requests submitted immediately, never any problems, warnings, complaints etc. When we went to move out after 3 years, I spent months filling every single thumbtack hole, deep cleaning the carpeting, and wiping down every nook, crany, and surface, etc etc. I took video evidence of the apartment in great, clean condition on the day of move out. However, we were charged nearly $800 of our security deposit for "carpet and flooring deep cleaning". After pressing property manager Troy White several times & threatening legal action, we were sent photo "proof" detailing issues such as "dusty window blinds & dust on top of the fridge". Honestly. Nowhere in their photos were any photos documenting issues with the flooring or carpets; regardless of the me sending back my proof, they refused to budge and illegally withheld ~$800 of our deposit. It is an extreme shame, as the maintenance staff is beyond wonderful, and it's a beautiful apartment complex with quiet & friendly neighbors. For some reason however, the property management have nothing but spite in their hearts for the people that pay their salary every month, and take advantage of their residents & lack of protection laws for lessees.

They got rid of major things like nightly security, the morning cleaning crew, pool and lawn maintenance and general upkeep. The Boulevard was beautifully maintained before and had gorgeous flowers, bushes, trees and lawn. Now it's dried out and unkept. Because of the lack of security, more random people and teens are using the pool and amenities all hours of the day/night. Using the grill areas are now disgustingly dirty. No one cleans the tables, chairs, surface areas or changes out the trash cans. This also includes the gazebo, pool and pool bathroom areas. They are so dirty. Most of the "luxury" amenities are broken most of the time as well. This includes the inside lap pool (if that's what you call it), car wash hose, car vacuum, and inside amenities such as ac not working for a month inside our apartment! We moved out once we saw the increase in rent by hundreds of $$ a month, plus adding mandatory cable/ internet, parking, doubled trash pick up and a much lower standard of living. The Connor Group is the absolute worst. Read reviews on all of their properties also on the Better Business Bureau. Do Not rent anywhere that this group owns.
