Maria was friendly and professional as soon as I walked in the door. She knew right away which color to match to my hair. I was very impressed! I came in to get clip-extensions and I wanted to get them custom cut to match my hair. I had my appointment with Amber and I was really optimistic bc I just got a haircut from another salon for the first time in three years and my hair was now one length with just very slight face framing layers that blended seamlessly, not even half an inch thick bit of hair. As Amber was cutting the extensions, I saw that she got dangerously close to my real hair in the front. So I asked, "You're not cutting my real hair, right?" and she said "No, I'm cutting the extensions and following along with your actual layers." Weird. Bc I didnt really have layers. And sure enough I got home, took out the clip-ins, and my hair has a severe chunk that didnt blend to the rest of my hair. I'd literally just gotten a haircut a few days before so I know that chunk wasn't like that before I went to Bellami. This was probably just an unfortunate, one-off mistake but I'm honestly just really disppointed and sad that it happened to me. Especially when my original haircut at the other salon was $60 with wash and styling, and this Bellami "clip-in cut and customization" just involved placing the extensions in my head and messing up my real hair for $170. I think it was just poorly done and disorganized if my real hair was cut. I assumed since Amber works in an extensions salon that she would have noticed the difference better. ESPECIALLY after I pointed it out during the cut. The hair extensions are great, but I would never get them cut here again. read more

Awful and unapologetic customer service. I purchased a set of clip-in extensions paid for with cash and when I attempted to return them the following day due to a poor color match I was told they do not keep cash in their store and I would either have to accept a store credit which I did not need or want or wait an undetermined amount of time for them to hopefully receive cash via another customer's transaction to reimburse me. Corporate shockingly reiterated this and said it would be impossible to provide a time frame for when I could return the product and be reimbursed and my best bet was to just take the store credit. I was not told when making the purchase with cash that if a return was potentially necessary they wouldn't be able to facilitate it. Absolutely absurd for a company of this magnitude to act as if this is an acceptable business policy, particularly considering the saturation of the hair extension market with brands with similar and better quality product. read more

The staff at Bellami Houston location- specifically Austin- is unrivaled. Over quarantine my hair extensions became massively tangled, huge mats in my hair, like beyond awful- completely my fault for not taking them off beforehand. I came into the salon totally terrified. Austin took on this challenge with a positive and calm attitude. He spent over 13 HOURS with the patience of a saint, trying different methods and products to comb out my hair. He even went out and bought a steamer to use. And in the end after three days, it looks amazing. He pulled out a complete miracle. The girls who assisted him were also wonderful, being cheerful and making me laugh the entire service. He definitely made a lifelong client and loyal Bellami customer. read more

I was there May3 & May 4th whoever was working the brunch shift those days are so rude and stuck up you walk in and they look at you stupid don't say good afternoon or nothing and that honestly makes the whole place feel weird i was there with a friend to help with her baby and they seemed very bother by that so I had to walk outside and wait for my friend to get her service done but before that the day before the lady gave her the wrong color extensions and didn't really tried like if she didn't want to work or want to help it's just a beautiful place with ugly services . read more

Hair Mecca! I am new to hair extensions and the girls were very informative and attentive. They were able to color match my hair. They sell a wide range of clip ons, tape ins, wigs, pony tails, hair styling tools and they are even able to install it. The place itself is gorgeous. You do have to make an appointment before you go so that you can get properly color matched and attended. The hair itself is supper silky and soft. The wigs don't look "wiggy" even though they are synthetic, they still feel natural and don't tangle as much. They also have human hair wigs too. I purchased the Bellami collection clip in 22" extensions in the color #18 (which came with a free pony tail!) I also checked in on yelp and got an additional $10 off! I will be returning to have my clip ins cut and installed! read more

My hair is very fine and thin and the woman was very helpful I wanted to get my hair done at the salon but the price was 500 just for installation so I decided to go to my salon Instead. This overall experience was off-putting for such a high end store. My mom and I just wanted a fun experience finding extensions for my wedding. We arrived and the girls helping us had so much attitude and were so rude we didn't know how to respond. When they didn't have the colors in stock that they matched us to, no one even offered to help us order it online from the store. They just walked away and didn't say thank you or tell us our appointment was over. We just sat there waiting for them to come back, but no one ever did until I asked if we were done. We will not be recommending this place to any of our friends now or in the future. read more

Free color match went very smoothly with Ariel as she found my perfect shade without rushing and I honestly didn't feel any obligation to buy but had to because the quality is amazing. I thought extensions were going to cost $400+ when I saw the store months ago and decided to check online. I had my hair installed and cut to blend by Gabrielle who was super sweet, listened to my concerns, and educated me on how to wear my extensions (been wearing extensions for years and yes I still had things to learn). Also got a free synthetic ponytail, probably won't wear it but it was free. I love my hair and will NEVER buy anywhere else. read more
