11/21/21 WOW WOW WOW!!!…read more I can't say enough wonderful things about the Knowlton Mansion. It is so exquisite and just pure class all the way. We celebrated our daughters first year anniversary rather than the traditional reception. Like so many weddings, our celebration was delayed a year. The tasting at Knowlton mansion was a perfect way to get excited about the wedding. I truly enjoyed sampling all the appetizers and entree choices. The cake and fillings were all amazing. My daughter, the bride, was well taken care of by the Bridal assistant, Danny. Danny offered champagne to us upon arrival. She was sweet and kind and helped us bustle my daughters dress which was no easy task! Not only did we enjoy the ballroom, but the bride gets full access to the upstairs rooms for changing, hair, makeup etc. there was an incredible stone wine cellar we took advantage of too. Let's not forget the outside tent and fire pit. The servers and bartenders were very attentive as was Chris, our wedding coordinator for the day. The service was friendly and kind. All the food was such a treat. Artfully prepared and crafted special occasion food! You know you're at a special affair when you are served amazing creations. This is a beautiful venue. I highly recommend considering Conroy Catering and The Knowlton Mansion. Impressive, memorable, and forever memories.

I visited for a baby shower but I also had a quick mini tour. Inside most of its historical integrity has been maintained. Outside the grounds are lovely and manicured to perfection with view for a almost spooky glaring lights shining on the house in the evening. This would make a perfect haunted house or a place to take your children for trick-or-treat. But truly the inside is a stunner it's decorated with decor that appears to be between the late 1800 and early 1900s. The attachment or extra space built at the side or back of the home is where you have catered events. This space is very large and can accommodate 200-300 people if not more. On the grounds there's a beautiful Pergola where I'm sure a bride and groom can take the most stunning pictures. The staircase inside can also make for a great photo op! The staff was friendly, the house and grounds are a stunner. I will have to do some research to see if they catered the event because everything I mean everything was delicious.

There was a sign that it's $10 for non members to enter. I was told this isn't heavily enforced. Membership is only $25 per house hold. Food portions were generous and priced less than what I expected. We did not order food but these are food photos of items ordered by some of our friends at other tables. Another friend ordered the spinach dip and pita and that looked amazing! People said they really enjoyed the food they ordered. I wasn't thrilled with the service. The Waitress didn't want to separate checks which was weird because we're seated with strangers. Eventually they came up with a way to accommodate separate checks using numbered signs when they realized people weren't ordering. I don't know if she was new and didn't know this was an option but her communication style was not great and I know some people did not order because of it. Several of us opted to get our own drinks at the bar and eat elsewhere after the event because of the service. Also wanted to mention that half of the stalls in the women's bathroom had broken locks. I hope someone addresses that because no one wants a visitor when using a public restroom. This really is a beautiful venue with other spaces available for parties. I hope to have a better experience next time I'm there.

There are many different classes including drawing, metals, clay, and painting all at different times. You are able to choose the day and time that works for you the best. They also provide studio hours to work on projects outside of class to give you flexibility! I took my classes with Shannon who is great at teaching, but also allowing you to experiment and discover your own talents. I've learned so much about clay through her and other students because we were given the freedom to do so! Also, the technician, Brittany, is knowledgeable about clay and is able to give you tips and advice. Not to mention she is super organized and efficient! I have never had a problem having my projects fired and glazed in a timely manner. In general, all staff and instructors know so much and are willing to help you. Also, all the students who take the classes with you are willing to give you a second opinion or tips that they have learned during their time here. So whether you're a beginner or expert, this is a good place to exchange ideas and be creative. I highly value this place and recommend it if you're looking to start a new hobby or try exploring the arts. Overall, the Abington Art Center has the kindest people, abundant resources, and up to date facilities to help you grow in your adventure!
