What an amazing dining experience by Chef Robert and his team! The ten of us did the chef's tasting at the restaurant. The whole experience from start to finish was top notch. We hired Chef Robert back in January, and he sat down with us and discussed all the details for my sons wedding in March.Then we selected the menu and he invited us for the tasting and it was out of this world. Dinner last night was absolutely amazing! We wanted to try out Bacio Kitchen, my sister spoke so highly of them and hired them to cater her wedding this July. We had a friendly and inviting welcoming and started our meal with some amazing appetizers. The fried olives were absolutely amazing as was the flatbread du jour which had the most delicious red pepper sauce drizzle. Followed by a delicious Caesar salad. For our meals my mother ordered the special, short rib ragu, my sister the short rib entree and I ordered the Salmon entree. Everything was absolutely amazing we enjoyed every minute of our time there. Our server Brandon was AMAZING! Even remembering my sister and her fiancée from their previous visit. I cannot say enough great things about this place. First, they take Covid cautions very seriously (temp check at door, hand sanitizer available, all staff wear masks, socially distance indoor seating), we felt safe during our time here. Second, the staff was incredible, Brandon our server was so nice, was patient with our party, and brought over numerous wine chillers for all our drinks (BYOB). the food was phenomenal! Lastly, We ordered so much food for our big party (apps:Fried Calamari, cheesesteak egg rolls, fried shrimp and my personal fav: Cresepelle Della Nona aka a seafood crepe, entree: Fettuccine Pescatore, Tortellini Pasta, and two dinner specials- Veal and Black Mahi Mahi). I was not 100% happy with my meal. Service was great. My cream soup was cold after a polite request to reheat it came back scorched. The owner argued that it wasn't. It was. Cute spot to grab a panini right on Main St! My sister-in-law & I biked over on a beautiful Saturday. Parked the bikes out front and got a table near the window. For the Marketplace, walk up to the counter to place your order. Take a seat and they'll bring it over when ready. The sandos were about 6 bucks each and huge. The BBQ pork & smoked Gouda panini caught my eye. Very tender pork, just slightly sweet BBQ sauce, and maybe could have added some more cheese...because who doesn't love extra cheese? Many various pizza varieties, soups and salads, even burgers compliment the exquisite main dishes of fish, meat and vegetables. I just saw fruitti di mare, our favorite on the menu. A little pricey at $32 but everything is pricey nowadays. BYOB. Don't chinch. This restaurant commands fine food and wine. Chef Rob may make a recommendation for you as to proper pairing for the pallet. As I write this diatribe I'm tempted to request that management compile a list of preferred patrons who not only be notified of menu specials but be able to request special requests. For example, we haven't had Veal Normandy in 40 years, a veal and lobster combo with a cream sauce and broccoli rabe. Money is no object on that one! Amazing. I ordered the "Lite Lunch" package for work (Frank Winne & Son, Inc.) and it couldn't have been better. Everything was really amazing and my coworkers and I really enjoyed all the food. I also have to say that I called on Saturday to place the order for the upcoming Tuesday and the girl who took my order was so pleasant and knowledgeable and overall excellent too. She was able to answer all my questions and give me all the details i wanted since this was my first time ordering. Chef Robert himself came and delivered all the food and he was also extremely nice and pleasant and arrived early to help explain everything and set up a bit. We ordered the chicken parmesan, cheesesteak spring rolls, fried calamari and fettuccine pescatore. We had it delivered by Door Dash. Well.....the door dash driver manhandled the bags and our food was delivered to us in horrible condition with food falling out of all the containers and soaking the bag with the sauces. The fettuccine was literally inedible. When I called to tell the restaurant what happened I spoke to Chef Sean. He was very apologetic and offered to remake the entire order, only I had to drive from Delran to Palmyra to pick it up. (No big deal). We brought the food home and it was in perfect condition and was delicious! He could have easily told us it wasn't his problem and to contact Door Dash but he didn't. He did what any going business owner should do and made the situation right. I will 10/10 order from Bacio again, but will probably pick it up myself. Lol. read more

Okay lunch here-not fabulous. One of their specialty salads had turkey lunch meat in it in lieu of real roasted turkey. Only one piece of dessert laying under glass dome and it looked tired, lonely and stale-not appetizing. Bathrooms were a turn off. Absolutely amazing experience today with Bacio. They catered a 60th surprise party for me. I had forgotten many items (cake cutting knife, cake plates) and they got everything I needed at the last second. The food was amazing and I received many compliments on it from the guests. Stopped by today to check out lunch menu before committing to use them for a large catering event. Overall, the food was very fresh and flavorful. Large portions for the price, too. It was definitely a place I'd go back to. Here are our observations: * Chicken Saltimbocca Panini - very good balanced pesto flavor, chicken was tender, multi-grain flatbread added a different texture than usual Panini and was a good choice. It came with a side salad that was fresh, crisp, and with really good dressing * August Crunch Salad - excellent salad that did not have any 'dirt' taste; raspberry vinaigrette was flavorful with not too much vinegar. * Honey Mustard Chicken Salad Wrap - not a strong honey mustard flavor, but a solid chicken salad with crisp bacon. It was in a wheat wrap that was fresh and stuffed generously. It came with a side pasta salad that was excellent. * Philly Pressed Pork Sub - They accidently gave us this one, but it was good to try a spicy option. My son said it would be a favorite for those who like hot. Bread was fresh and perfectly toasted. I am not a fan of spicy food but I could tell this was good pork and then we tried the replacement.... * BBQ Pork Sub - they say it is awesome and IT IS! All three of us said this was the best BBQ sandwich we ever had. Sweet & tangy sauce, smoked Gouda cheese, tender pulled pork. I'd go back for this even if the doctor says not to. :-) Needless to say we will be using them for our event. read more

Bacio catered my daughter's wedding this past weekend. My daughter was looking for something different, and wanted the wedding to resemble more of an upscale picnic than a wedding reception. after talking with several caterers, we realized that none of them were willing to even consider anything that wasn't on their standard menu...until we talked with Bacio. Our first conversation with Chef Robert at Bacio, started with him asking the couple "What are your favorite foods?" and "What kind of vibe are you looking to achieve?" Once he was in tune with the couple's wants, we gave him a budget. He then tailored a very untraditional menu, which included everything the couple wanted and more! From nachos, hoagies, BBQ shrimp and sausage & pepper sandwiches, to Braised Short Ribs, Sole Francaise, Paninis and Upscale Grilled Cheese!! During the reception Chef Robert was there to ensure everything was going as planned! We also opted to have Bacio provide a day-of coordinator to handle any emergencies that might occur during the event. Teresa was our coordinator, and stayed on top of every detail. The comments from our guests throughout the day were overwhelmingly positive, and I continued to hear great things through the next couple of days! One guest told me that when we come to his wedding, don't be suprised if we see the exact menu, because it was that good! If you are planning an event that requires a caterer, run, DO NOT WALK to Bacio...Chef Robert, Teresa and the entire Bacio team will work with you to create exactly what you want......and they will knock it out of the park!! read more

Chef Robert's food is amazing. Every single guest used that word to describe the food out our wedding. My husband and I very early on in our wedding planning process decided we wanted great food and a lot of control over the food menu at our wedding. We were able to work with Chef Robert to create a completely individualized menu: pierogies, grilled cheese, pulled pork sliders, key lime pie, tiramisu...pretty much all of our favorite dishes were flawlessly executed. Servers were pretty typical, we did buffet style so it wasn't as formal so the servers weren't as involved in plating for dinner. I did, however, receive a lot of compliments on the bartenders provided. The server(s) assigned to my husband were sweet, but seemed to have difficulty finding us during cocktail hour which was a shame because it meant that I would ask for a plate of stuff and then wound up not getting to try it until a friend snagged me some. Having worked in food service for many years, I recognized a great chef when I met him, but I also recognized him as a "cheffie." His first and foremost allegiance is to the food and the rest of it (table settings, seating chart, alcohol amounts, etc), it absolutely gets done but it's not his number 1 priority. My husband and I were absolutely ok with that because like I said, I've worked with many chefs before I know the type and know the food is worth it. If you are looking for a very hands on caterer all inclusive caterer, Bacio may not be the best fit for you. HOWEVER, if you want fabulous food with great service too (which, to us is the most important element...how many times have you gone to a wedding and remembered nothing other than crappy/awesome food???) Bacio is absolutely for you. He will work with any budget and cuisine type. I overall recommend using Bacio if you have a strong idea for what cuisine you would like at your wedding and if great wedding food is a seriously important element for you. read more

Chef Robert catered our wedding back in May. The man is no nonsense, gets the work done and the food was fantastic. He was very attentive to our needs, he was kind to my parents and he went out of his way to make sure we were happy. Included in the package was a coordinator. She was sweet and made sure I had a drink in my hand at all times. She needs to be louder and start throwing her coordinator weight around. She was quiet. I expected a militant style coordinator but maybe i watch too many movies I don't know. Whatever, I liked her. I never got to eat any of the food at cocktail hour but that was my own fault. I also never got to meet the bartenders but I heard one of them was super rude and said to a guest "I can't hear you. Your English isn't that good." To a guest! And we had a bartender serving full glasses of whiskey despite our no shot rule. I gotta say I'm not impressed with the bartenders. I heard a few more stories about a brownie throwing incident but hey, the food was excellent and Chef Robert did his thing. read more

**This is not a review of the actual food, but of the lack of service I was offered.** I contacted Bacio to cater a wedding because they are one of the preferred vendors for my venue. Their paperwork and website both stress that they are willing to work with your needs and budget. I have found this to be completely untrue. Their lowest package is listed in the pamphlet as $45 pp. I contacted them and learned that this does not include service or rentals (linens and serveware only) and that the full price is $65 pp. I responded that I would prefer to pay $45 and would be willing to receive less food than their package offers to reach that goal. The chef adamantly refused to work with me. Bacio is unwilling to honor their creed of being willing to work with your budget, and their paperwork is misleading on the package prices. Take that wording off the pamphlets and off your website, and I wouldn't have wasted my time contacting you. I have heard wonderful things from people who have had their weddings catered by Bacio, but only if you are able to pay I guess. I was very disappointed by my experience with Bacio and want to save other budget brides the embarrassment I have felt after contacting them. read more
