    Tea at New Leaf
    Rachel T.

Really enjoyed this place for afternoon tea! There are seatings between 10am and 1pm (reserve in advance, no walk-ins) and everything was very affordable! I was pleasantly surprised to have our party led to a cozy sideroom with nice decor and lots of seating since the entranceway leads into a tea shop. Everything was delicious and we were so full before even finishing our plates! There are two options-- the Riverton tea ($30) or the Queen's tea ($35, which is the same as Riverton plus soup of the day or salad).

I've been to a lot of afternoon tea places this year (including at the Plaza Hotel and Bergdorf Goodman in NYC), and I have to say this one is in my top 2 favorite. LOVE that they include a vegetarian option and LOVE that this option actually includes fresh and delicious tasting sandwiches. Also, sometimes I'm in the mood for hot chocolate instead of tea and LOVE that this is an alternative. The mini treats at the top were all SO delicious (I didn't even let one go to waste) and the scone was fabulous. The decor of The New Leaf is so cute and dainty. I'm taking all my friends and family that visit me here next time!

Was there with my wife this past Friday and it was lovely. Great food and service. A very interesting shop as well with all sorts of interesting teas and other things. Will be returning soon.

Charming atmosphere with friendly staff and delicious sweets and sandwiches. Adorable gift shop and several teas to choose from. Will definitely return.

Nothing short of a five star experience! I surprised my wife with a Valentines Day brunch at New Leaf. She absolutely loved it! The 1910 Victorian home is so charming with so many nice touches in each room. The food and teas were fantastic - especially the scones and quiche. I read some earlier reviews around "poor service," which was so far from the truly exceptional service we received from everyone on staff. The experience could not have been better. We will definitely return.

My mom hosted my bridal shower at The New Leaf and it was the perfect venue for my tea themed shower. The food was delicious (especially the scones and clotted cream), and the employees were very friendly and accommodating. They didn't rush us out, even though we were a little late to leave. We also enjoyed wearing the various tea hats provided. We are looking forward to returning.

My husband took me to The New Leaf Tearoom for a birthday treat and we had a wonderful experience! The service was lovely, the food delicious and incredibly fresh, and the atmosphere perfect!. The staff wore masks and gloves and had their customers maintain social distancing. Having tea in Riverton and then driving to the river to see all the beautiful old mansions surrounded by fall foliage made for a perfect birthday celebration!!

The "girls" decided to have tea today. We had been told that the New Leaf was the place to go. On entering the shop we were welcomed by a wonderland of unique gifts, jewelry, china and Victorian treasures . We walked through the beautifully decorated Victorian home to our seats. Each room is set for tea with linen tablecloths, napkins, crystal, candles and china. It could not have been more festive. We were greeted by our server and ordered delicious decadent sandwiches, fruit, scones, and luscious desserts, as well as a choice of tea. (A bit pricey, but well worth it) The "girls" had much to talk about and will keep this little known secret in Riverton on their "A" list for fantastic places to go.

The food was amazing. The scones were "melt in your mouth" good. The portions are a perfect size and a good tea selection too.

Since I had called several other local garden centers, I asked if he was sure. Dennis said that he has both plants and they would be located by the barn when my husband and I came in. I called on Saturday and spoke with Diane and apprised her of the situation. I told her that my husband and I would not be able to come in until Sunday and if they would hold the plants for us. Diane took my name and phone number and said that she would speak to Dennis and if there was a problem, she would call me back. Since I didn't hear from her, I thought that the plants were held and put aside. On Sunday, in 93 degree heat and high humidity, we looked near the barn to pick up our plants. Then I went in the store and asked the man behind the counter if they had plants held with my name. He had no clue! I asked to see Dennis or Diane and was told that both are off on Sunday. I was livid! Here I was told that they had the specific plants that I had been seeking, and then we couldn't locate them. We checked every greenhouse and table and could not find either of them! I called today and asked to speak with Dennis or Diane. Of course neither of them are working today! Then I asked if either of them was the owner and was told no. Then I asked who is the owner and who is in charge? The woman said that no one was in charge at the moment. This gave me no recourse, but to write a review of the situation in order to prevent this from happening to anyone else! Their prices are inflated and they don't tell the truth, but just want to get you in the garden center and hope that you'll spend a lot of money! I will never go there again!

We came here with very little idea of what we wanted, and she was thoughtful, helpful, and patient with us throughout the whole process! We did a few revisions (or more...) and changed our minds multiple times. All the while, Colleen advised us on what the best options, conventional way of doing things, and wording choices, were. Initially, the idea of finding invitations was a bit daunting, but she continued to support us as we changed our minds, until we found what we truly wanted; she never rushed us once! At each step, she let us look at proofs, printed up different scripts, and size fonts so we could get an idea of what we were looking at. She also advised about upcoming sales too - which was really thoughtful! To top it off, we ordered our invitations and they came in SO FAST! In less than 2 weeks, I don't know how that is possible! If you don't find anything in "the books" (wedding invitation books) she does custom work in-house and has PLENTY of options! We just got our final invitations and they're even more beautiful in person - I would absolutely recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat! Thank you so much Colleen!

I received a voicemail from someone who advised me that "they don't do drop box flowers" and that they could offer something else. I emailed them back and tried to call the next morning but received no response. I canceled the order via email and ordered flowers from another local Florist online, Ava's who are great. I called back Harker's and spoke to I believe the floral designer. She was ill mannered and abrupt. Pretty much told me that she couldn't do anything since her boss is in the hospital. That is unfortunate for the owner as I am sure he will lose quite a bit of business as a result. This lady needs to learn customer service skills along with basic phone etiquette. I would not recommend this florist ... no confidence in the business.

They refused to make any adjustments and I received nothing but a sorry excuse that the "caller" referenced a Telaflora item number and that Teleflora set the price. They ignored the fact that call was made directly to Harker's and not via Telaflora and they laid the blame on Telaflora. Of course Harker's had no problem accepting $110 for a $19.95 product. They took advantage of a person in grief - SHAME ON HARKER'S I guess that Harkers never expected the purchaser from Brooklyn to see the flowers in person. I strongly suggest that consumers take their business to the other Cinnaminson area florists that prepared much more beautiful arraignments at a fair price.
