Additionally I respected that they told me I didn't need acrylic nails since I keep them shorter and she took off and polished with gel polish which will be strong and look more natural. This place was recommended to me by a coworker, and unfortunately not everyone has the same experience as everyone else. I went there to get the dip nails that I had had put on previously taken off, as well as a manicure. When I called I was told it would be $30. The girl did not soak all of the previous product off of my nails and then painted right over it even though I brought it to her attention. That's not even the worst part. The worst part is arguing with staff when they keep trying to upcharge you for length of nail, or coffin shaped nails which is something I've never experienced an upcharge for. My 16-year-old daughter was basically caught in the middle of the awkward conversation when the person doing her nails kept trying to charge her more for ridiculous reasons. Then getting into a full-blown argument with me while the owner just sat and watched the whole thing go down. This is supposed to be relaxing? This is good customer service? No. This is someone taking over someone else's successful nail salon and then letting it go down in flames. No website. No pricing on services they list that they provide on Facebook. Even when you call and ask for pricing they don't inform you of up charges over the phone. No one likes to be surprised with additional charges especially when they bring a specific amount for the services provided and tipping the staff. After all was said and done the owner ended up finishing my daughter's nails, which don't even look that good, and trust me she's not picky. She knows what she wants, and knows what is good quality. Not this place. Not LV Nails. NOT SIGNATURE. Honestly, after all the places that we have tried she says that the gentleman at Walmart is the best in town. I get the gel mani and pedi - the color I choose isn't easy to apply so the lead tech had to train the gent doing my nails, which is fine with me! My sister who is 9 months pregnant and I went in on Monday to get 2 manicures and 2 pedicures we were the only people their yet the employees were running around like if they had a line out the door of clients. Their was one lady doing my hands and another doing my toes and I had never felt so rushed getting my nails done I felt like I couldn't chat with my sister because when I did they would tell me foot in or out and then hand down, next hand. They definitely didn't take their time and let us relax and enjoy. The lady who did my nails asked how I wanted them I told her to shape my nails only and she filed them very short which I didn't notice because my sister was mentioning how uncomfortable it was to have 2 people work on you at the same time and how she couldn't enjoy her service. I went in to get my nails done and showed my nail tech an inspo pic. As she was doing my nails she didn't speak to me once. She told me to pick out all of the products I needed for the nails but gave me no direction like as if I knew what I needed to achieve the nail look and treated me like I was stupid when I didn't know what I needed to achieve the look.. like you're the tech you should know.. not only that the application of the acrylic was horrible and the shaping was just bad. I came in and got my nails done a pink color with a coffin shape and about 3 days after they began to crack across where my natural nail ends and I was thinking maybe I was too harsh on them. Came back for a fill to give a second try. Second day after getting them my nail completely snapped off after cracking at the base of my natural nail and the acrylic. I took it back right after it breaking to get fixed and showed him (don't remember his name) how the rest were cracking too. He finished up his co workers nails before fixing mine then only fixed the broken nail and no other nails. It has now been a week since the fix and the white color is a yellow. Then my daughter asked for a design and when they told her to pick different the lady yelled at her to "Hurry up"! Not to mention they all switched back and forth. I had 3 different people. My mom and I went for a pedicure together. The lady who did my nails was good and nice. However, my mom had a lady who was nice but ended up helping someone else with no communication to us to just move to the person next to her. We waited several minutes for us to be noticed we were leaving and needed to pay. My mom got sick and had a headache from all the acetone. She didnt recover from the smell and had a headsche for a few hrs after leaving. I smelled the acetone which hit me hard but I was ok. We will never go back. read more
