My manicurisn't / pedicurlist moved away from Grand unction several years ago and I've been looking ever since for someone as good as she was. Today I hit the jackpot at Lux Nail Salon. Andy gave me the best mani-pedi I've had in years. He's extremely competent, highly experienced, friendly, gentle and fosters confidence and relaxation. Highly recommend Andy and Lux. read more

Called and got an appointment within the half hour of calling which was amazing. Received a quality pedicure that felt amazing. The massage chairs are super comfortable and the service was even better. They are caring and attentive. The music they had on was relaxing and I enjoyed the video that went along with it. I did not do polish but their selection looked quite impressive. read more

We walked in today without an appointment. May was working with two clients but almost done. With in 10 minutes a coworker came in and they promptly attended to us. We received excellent service and the best pedicure we have had in a long time (we are from Montrose and have limited options). We give May and the other gentleman who helps us two thumbs up and will be returning!. Thank you, Ridgway read more

I had a great experience at Lux Nails. I got a pedicure and acrylics with gel. The pedicure was really good and thorough. My full set was done incredibly well and exactly the length I wanted. They take their time to make sure everything is done well, so don't expect to rush in and out. The quality is excellent and everyone is friendly. They didn't give me crap about how gross my cuticles and stubby bitten nails were, which sadly happens at some nail places. Very friendly and inviting- I will definitely be back. read more

NOT EVER RETURN!! Would have given zero stars Walk in--for gel nail polish and pedicure. Had communicated I had another appt and needed "fairly quick" mani & pedi. Nails done by young woman who was new, did sub par work Pedicure done by a young man who also did subpar work & took FOREVER Wanted eye brows waxed but senior employee took a walk in appt and told me she couldn't do them...after telling me earlier it was no problem I was there for 2 1/2 hours!!! Felt like I was farmed out to the newbies and definitely did not receive good service. Way to make a good impression lux!! Waste of my time and money!!! read more

Horrible!! do not recommend! i called ahead for 4 appointments and they forgot about 1 of them and we had to wait another hour. My nails ended up crucked and looks nothing like my inspo pic that i asked for. she also cut both my thumbs. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! they also reuse files and buffers which is disgusting. read more

Lux Nails - cut by the cuticle - Nail Salons Near Me - Grand Junction, Colorado

Large Solon, nice atmosphere, and easy walk in or fast scheduling. Expect reasonable priced.

I left lux nails very unsatisfied. Originally I went in only for a pedicure! I was approached about my nails which I always get done elsewhere. But one of the nail techs Annie convinced me she was better. Absolutely untrue in the end. Both of my experiences here were a waste of money. The first time my nail tech Annie was sick and vomiting. I was so patient with her because I understood that she was sick. It took her three hours to complete a full set. Which cost me $50 and looked terrible at the end. I ended up coming back to get my nails done a week later, which again I paid full price for both times. I assumed because she was sick the first time the second time would be better. My nails had dips, were not the shape I wanted and polish job was not nice. Three days after getting this last set done two of my nails cracked so I went in to get them fixed after making an appointment. When I arrived to my appointment she was 30 minutes late. I didn't mind. I patiently waited. The problem came after I asked her to touch up the polish on my other nails and she refused to because she told me that she didn't have the time to. I won't be going back. I felt taken advantage of. And also that as lo G as she got her money it didn't matter what my nails looked like. read more

I just moved to the area and needed a new nail place so I checked out Lux Nails. I just ran in for a quick pedicure and at first I thought it was odd only one person was working. Turned out she is the owner and she is really friendly. She explained why she was short staffed and she did an excellent job. Grand Junction is a little pricey these days for everything so I didn't love the prices, but she did such a good job that I am pleased and happy to pay. I just got the basic pedi and she took her time and kept an eye on all small details. She also did a nice job with the polish. I am sure I'll go back when I'm ready for a full set too. read more

The service was great. They put us right in chair for pedicures. Excellent job was done. Great massage on the legs. Very clean.

Me and my mom went there to go get our nails done because this weekend it is my big prom night and I wanted to get my nails done.I looked online and the nails looked really nice and put together and the place was very welcoming and the people were really nice but as soon as other appointments came in, she rush through my Nails. She didn't listen to anything I said she cut me multiple times and used her own fingers to push back my cuticles, my nails looked terrible. None of them are the same length. My designs aren't even the same. I would not recommend coming here. The other people that I saw there were there to get their nails fixed, such as one lady she was trying try on jeans, and her nails popped off twice and there was only two people working in. There was a lot going on. It was not a relaxing experience. I was cut multiple times the brown part. I asked to be clear and I wanted more glitter on my glittery nail and she didn't. I had to file my own nails because they were all misshapen and my nails are very chunky read more

I am from another state and had the same nail tech for 2 years. I was extremely weary of trying a new place out here. I am glad I did. Annie and Ryan were amazing. They took the time to ask what I wanted. I had a wonderful experience and my nails were just how I wanted them. read more

I've gotten my nails done twice here now, the first time I got dip powder & this time I got acrylic. I had a pretty good experience both times! I'm in love with this set. The nail tech was nice, explained pricing to me before doing anything and did my nails exactly like my inspo pic. I'm pretty particular about shaping and she nailed it. It was $55 for the set pictured. The place was clean & they social distancing measures in effect. read more

Annie was wonderful. This is the best pedi (chose the Deluxe for $40) I've had in GJ so far. Unfortunately she has lost all her employees and is a mom of 4 running this place all by herself. I hope we don't see this place go away, as she was kind, engaging, encouraged me to close my eyes and enjoy the pampering, which I did immensely. If you know anyone who needs work and has nail experience please send them her way, otherwise please try her out, she is a really lovely person doing the best she can during hard times. read more

My daughter booked an appointment for us to get a pedicure at 10:00 am. When we arrived we were told that they were busy and asked us to come back in an hour. We returned at 11:00am. The man in front was very rude. He told us we needed to wait in line because they were busy. I tried to explain that we had an earlier appointment and were asked to come back. He ignored us and told us we were late and we had to wait our turn. We stood there awkwardly for a second trying to figure out what to do then the lady from that morning starting yelling at us to pick a color while the man glared at us. We just ended up walking out. Not a very welcoming or relaxing environment. Ended up spending my money elsewhere. read more

The salon is clean, bright and welcoming. Those who are employed here are very professional and gracious. I recommend an appointment on busy hours. I've had the pleasure of receiving services here two times in the past two months. I won't go anywhere else in GJ now. Annie, the owner, is very kind treating her employees well. Everyone laughs here and team well. It's because of Annie. read more

Went in as a walk in, and they had taken my boyfriend and I for pedicures and a full set within 20 minutes! Nails turned out amazing!

I've gone to this place for nearly 3 years even when it was pro nails. I went to the same person every time. About a 2-3 months ago when I went back my person was gone! So I was assigned a young lady who did my pedicure, during the pedicure she jabbed into the sides of my nail bed so hard, it was hurting days after. I mentioned it to her during the pedicure. Not only that she had to fix the color several times as she kept smudging them while putting my flip flops back on and on several other occasion with her own hands. I went back again few weeks later, I was assigned the same young lady, she did a terrible job with my pedi the paint was all gunky and I repainted my toes as I had to leave after her messing up my mani as well and didn't have time to sit around for her to use me as her practice dummy. My gel French mani was terrible, I had white paint all over my hands which I had to ask her to clean before I left. The mani started to chip after 6 days. Very disappointed as I used to love this place. read more

I love this salon! Recently purchased by a group of local nail techs, they have remodeled with the clients in mind. All the products used are brand new, and the techs are talented and professional. A little hard to find (next to Rooster's in the Grand Central Plaza) but definitely worth the extra effort. read more

The best in GJ by far! Annie really cares about her business and it shows! She does a great job and pays attention to the details.
