I woke up from a Saturdays nap and said ya know I want some henna. I hopped on yelp, and BAM I found Bella Threading Studio. Upon entering, the young lady who helped me greeted me with a smile. She pointed me in the direction of their book of henna art. There's tons of pictures, and there's no questions about what the price is for each design because the price is located on each picture. I chose my design and she got to work. She used organic henna, and the stain once hardened and cured overnight was the perfect stain. Their designs start at $10. so this place is inconsistent with the ladies who thread except I believe the owner. there's a lady who has a septum and she threads with that and a mask on, she's okay. I found the perfect lady by the name of Pam, did them fast, light hand, and would turn my face in all angles and lighting to make sure they were good. And boy they were, and guess what. she left ! so that's that, after getting her quality and knowing what the others offer, it's not worth the drive here anymore. but give them a shot id say, not bad spot. But you have to be firm if you don't like something, bc they'll shrug it off like the mistake doesn't exist read more

I've been coming here for a face threading for a year now and normally the normal lady does a great job. My last visit was terrible. The second lady who did my face did an awful job. Unexperienced. I say that because she started threading my sides and gave up and started plucking out my sides with a plucker. I told her I didn't come to get plucked. I came to get threaded. I finally just wanted to leave after 35 min in the chair she just couldn't get a clean thread. When I left there and saw my face in the sun she missed so many spots. I had to finish plucking at home. I was looking for a place to get my eyebrows done and was pleasantly surprised by the service provided by Bella Threading Studio. There was no one there so I didn't have to wait. There's an iPad for you to sign in and select the service you want. This was the first time I was asked how I wanted my eyebrows and was given advice about how they should be done and how they should look. I never knew that there was a technique that would actually allow your eyebrows to grow better naturally and not thin out (which has been happening and was being done by another place that I used to go to). I appreciated her openness and willingness to educate about why and how she decided to thread my eyebrows they way she did. It was $12 for the service and happily added a tip too. I hesitated to go to this location because I've lived in San Diego & recently moved out of state. Oxnard is my hometown, but I have never tried any eyebrow threading bars in the 805, until today. It was a little later in the day, almost closing time & nobody was at the location. I signed in & created an account on their sign in tablet next to the door. Jay was the one that helped me & first thing she asked was what I was in for. I told her that it's my first time at their location & I'm hesitant about trying new places. I was specific in what I wanted & she said she wkd do her best. No more than 5-7 minutes, she had my brows threaded & they were exactly how I wanted them. Sorry folks, no before & after pics. I did want to disclose that I had not touched my brows for 3 months since I wanted to grow them out. Since I just moved to the area, I was looking on Yelp for a place to go and get my eyebrows threaded. I happened to be in Ventura for the day and Bella Threading Studio in Oxnard at the Collection was highly recommended, so I decided to try it out. Shweta did an excellent job and was very kind. I have gone to other threading salons and occasionally it is very painful (even after I have been threading for multiple years). When Shweta did my brows she was very quick but efficient; it did not hurt at all! I have very light colored eyebrows so most of the time there are hairs that are missed, which is not a huge deal really, yet I prefer to not have to pluck when I get home and get my money's worth. The shop was very clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend going to Bella, you will not leave disappointed. Now if only they would open a location here in Santa Barbara or Goleta! read more
