My eyebrows are a bit finicky to deal with but the woman who threaded me (on a Sunday woohoo) did a phenomenal job. It was one of the least painful threading experiences I've had; she was so gentle. Lots of parking and I was able to walk-in with a 5 minute wait.

First time here and I loved it ! I'm so used to people threading my eyebrows to go so fast. She actually took her time, which I appreciate. Very fair price as well ! I will definitely be coming back and I recommend you try it out if you haven't. The place is very nice and comfortable , I didn't have to wait since no one was there I went later in the day.

Call before driving through rush hour traffic to get your eyebrows done. The hours are posted on the door saying they are open 10-7. I sat in traffic to get here and there's this hand written sign on the door. Pissed ain't the word! I find this extremely unprofessional and will not be returning. What a waste of time. **I ran 3 minutes down the street to IZ eyebrow threading & Mariam hooked me up!

The arrow points to the cut. Check out the unevenness of the brows. They do not look clean threaded.

I definitely hate to be THAT person to leave a 3 star review but I'm having some VERY mixed feelings right now. First off, let me say that Bella does an amazing job with threading brows. I had a few instances where I would drive to the shop and they weren't even open (three times). The owner was nice enough to give me a call and try to schedule a time with me (two of the three times I declined and the last time I was able to). In total, I've been here 4 times. And today, I am sad to say that I am disappointed. Usually, it takes me a while to understand how I feel when I'm not really sure if I'm satisfied.... which is why I did not tell the guy who did my brows anything. This was a completely new person that I haven't seen before and decided to just go with it even though I wasn't really feeling the vibes. He was not gentle and he was VERY rushed. My brows are not on "fleek" and I even started bleeding. They are uneven and have gaps. He made me flinch more than a few times just by how rushed and rough he was. After he did my eyebrows, I was worried about my upper lip because of the rapid speed! Let's just say I did not say no and I'm disappointed in MYSELF. He clipped my lip a few times and I know it's a sensitive area but I overall did not like this experience at all. The "ending" of my slight curved arches are not even. One is thicker than the other.... I'll be posting pictures and you can determine for yourself. In combination of all my experiences with this threading salon, I'm giving 3 stars just because Bella is that good. After everything, I don't think I will be going back.

I came in for the first time probably more traumatized about hearing people's experiences with threading. I was more scared when i shouldn't have been. The guy who threaded my eyebrows was great. Patientan and made my eyebrows beautiful. I will definitely come back in soon for another threading maybe next time my lip and a henna tattoo place is very clean and has a homey touch to it.

Bella is my favorite and she is the sweetest along with Bob. Be very vocal with her if you know exactly what you want. She is amazing and offers very kind customer service. I was recommended by my best friend and ended up becoming a regular, she remembers who you are and knows exactly what you want if you come often. Prices are going up ($2 i believe) in February from what I heard so don't be surprised! Still good pricing for good service. read more

I don't trust a lot of people with my brows. Actually I had a very small list of 2. My go-to girl in Scripps Ranch (near my parent's house) and my go-to girl in L.A. I had been busy for 2 months and my eye-brows were bushy as hell. Actually I'm understating! My brows were effed up. I was at my boy-friend's house and we had plans to go out in an hour so I did a quick yelp search and headed over. I was a little worried at first, but as soon as I met Bella I knew I was in good hands. She understood ex-actly what I wanted and my brows were flawless. Now my small list of 2 has grown to 3! I've had great experiences with this place until today when I showed up at 6:45 pm to get my eyebrows done and the place was closed although the hours on Yelp and on their voicemail recorder say 7:00 pm. Not happy with the inconvenience. read more

Excellent place for eyebrow threading! If you have always waxed your eyebrows you will love threading, it lasts longer, cheaper than waxing and doesnt irritate your skin. I've been to several places in San Diego for eyebrow threading and I wasn't really satisfied with the results so I went to Yelp to find a place where I can become a regular so I decided to give this place a chance! This place exceeded my expectations! I was immediately greeted when I walked in and got seated right away. The woman that did my eyebrows shaped them well and was gentle so I decided to get my upper lip threaded for the first time and she made it as least painful as she could! I'm extremely happy with the service and the results! I think I found my new go-to place! read more

Been looking for a good threading salon and this place is really as good as it gets! The prices are amazing and their customer service is awesome! I think it's only this one lady who does it and she's super nice and does the brows the way you want them. She also gives you a little head massage when she puts lotion after threading your brows. The owner was also very welcoming, he usually takes care of the finances when the threading session is done. Definitely my go-to spot! Never want to go back to waxing after going here!! Don't forget to also get a stamp card so that on your last stamp you get a free threading session! :) read more

I only trust Bella 100% with my eyebrows .. she does a great job. HOWEVER, call before coming in.. she tends to close early, come in late, close during the week, etc. I learned the hard way! Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of that! As far as threading skills.. like I said before, she's awesome! read more

I found out about this place through Yelp, I was skeptical because it didn't have too many reviews but I decided to give it a try because it was so close to home. That was about 7 months ago.... I love coming here! She is so nice, friendly and welcoming! I've tried other threading places and it feels like they are cutting into my skin and I always end up getting teary eyes and irritated skin but NOT WITH HER she does it gentle and always gives me the shape I want. So, I wasn't going to leave this review- I was just never going to come back…read more So I was getting Gel X done with extensions, the girl who helped me trimmed my cuticle and caused me to bleed a lot. In her panic, she put super glue on my cut to stop the bleeding, then put a washcloth back on it to stem the bleeding but ended up supergluing the washcloth to my finger. She then ripped the washcloth off my finger (which HURT) and had to spend 5min tweezing off the bits of washcloth that were not glued to my finger. She also gaslit me and said my skin was so thick, so it was my fault. Not only that- but she often applied too much glue and had to keep redoing her applications. Even after that horrific experience- I was going to let it go. I even tipped her $30 because I'm too nice and hate conflict. But we're barely 3 days in having these nails and already my thumb nail popped off in front of my friggin boss. Beware of this place. There's a reason why some people never return.

Otay Nail & Spa has been open for 4 years the last time I was at location. It seems to be doing very well because there were a lot of people by 1:30pm. The customer service was great the only thing different was seeing a lot of dust in shelves and around the tables. Other than that, I'd come back. Happy Yelping :)

My daughter got her eyebrows done here and they look beautiful. Bella is so nice and my daughter said it didn't hurt as much as she thought it would. The guy in the front is so nice. vivian was truly amazing!
