I started the class feeling intimated since I'm new to Barre. Cleanliness at this specific location could definitely be better maintained. The mat I rented that day was a bit smelly, and the towel was too, which wasn't great. That said, this has nothing to do with the staff.. the front desk is very friendly, and the instructor I had for yin was wonderful. No complaints there at all. I'd probably avoid this particular location moving forward though, that's all.

I'd had a bad experience at the Pasadena studio with a girl named Megan, so I decided to try a different location, and I'm so glad I did. This studio is waaaay cleaner. The mat towels smelled fresh, everything felt sanitized, and the space was clearly well taken care of. My instructor, Jimmy, delivered an amazing workout, he incorporated moves I've never seen before and actually walked around correcting form, which is rare in larger fitness classes. He was fun, energetic, and really set the tone. Playlist was baddie certified! LOVED him! I also appreciated how well maintained everything was, soaps fully stocked, cozy studio rooms, and an overall vibe that felt intentional and inviting. I think this might be my new go to location. I don't even mind the drive :)

And she refused to do when I was there. Instead she asked my to email them. But the email system was down! I called the studio again and was told the system was down and the person who picked up my phone doesn't know how to " freeze my account " and asked my to call back the other day! I even communicated this on IG account! Even though, they know exactly what they did to do to help me. But instead they asked my to call back! This is insane!!!! They are very safe with COVID guidelines, have a large studio space, clean bathrooms, lockers, a locker room with a shower and scale, and most importantly, the nicest staff! I love this studio and have been a member since March. There are a variety of classes offered (i.e…read more not just classic, but strength training, cardio and balance/flexibility classes are offered too) and the instructors switch up the combos so the classes never get stale and I feel a challenge every time I go. Since March, I've lost 10 pounds and really feel the flexibility and strength of my body by taking Pure Barre 3-5 times a week. They also celebrate your milestones which is a nice touch. I love attending Lindsey's classes but really enjoy all of the instructors including Kirstie, Katie, Jill, Jordan and more. The staff are so nice as well: Emily, Abby, Sophie and Patrick have been so welcoming. I've been to 3 other Pure Barre studios while out of town and really like the set up of this one the most. Free parking is a two minute walk away (Beverly Hills Tennis) and I've never had issues with finding a spot.

You can never Plato in her class or get injured. She watches everyone and makes sure that everyone is safe ! I really admire her dedication and expertise! Pia is also attentive, even in large class settings and helps you make great adjustments, which in the moment adds to the torture of her intense mat Pilates classes. But that is what you probably signed up for, right? Best of all, Pia can help you work your core even more with a few laughs in class. I always have fun and enjoy her class. It somehow makes feeling sore the next day worth it.
