She used slow, deliberate and very effective techniques to release the fascia and my tension. Kim truly cares by listening to my concerns plus worked with how my body was responding. It amplified the relaxation, helped flush out the toxins released during my massage and left me feeling completely rejuvenated. The facility is clean and serene, plus she sells Juice Plus!! Growing up as a gymnast, I've gotten more massages than I can count from a variety of different places so I know exactly what makes a great massage. I've tried so many types of recovery and rehabilitation practices and I keep returning to Function. They offer so many different services: massage, acupuncture, cupping, dry needling, etc. Joy is the best! She's very skilled and is the only person I've gone to that can apply the high amount of pressure I need to help my back. They also have a great space, it's super comfortable and they offer free tea. They have their own parking lot so it's super easy to access. Price wise, they have pretty standard prices. It's about $140 for an hour long massage (cupping can be added at no additional cost) which is more than fair for the service they provide. Function is the first place I mention to anyone looking for a massage! They're a great business and offer great deals for first timers.

I brought this up to my injector, and they tried to say it was from dust mites... this was back in October, and it's now April and the Botox is clearly worn off at this point and so is the eye twitching. It would have meant more to me if they were just honest and said yes, that can sometimes happen, but instead of taking responsibility, they tried to pass it off as something else. Overall, it's a nice spa and the diamond package is great if you're looking for Botox every three months and monthly skin rejuvenation. I just decided in the end that I would like to save my money for more invasive and aggressive procedures like Co2 lasers which end up costing less than a yearly Medspa membership for mediocre skin procedures (facials, chemical peels, microneedling). The owner and majority of the staff are wonderful though and I would return if I were looking for more low key maintenance skincare.

I highly recommend Julie for massage therapy…read more My husband gifted me a 60 minute prenatal massage and I used it when I was about 7 months pregnant. I expected it to feel good but I didn't expect it to change the course of my pregnancy. I had been having at least two headaches a week up until that point. I told Julie about this and she made sure to work the tension in my neck and shoulders. After the massage, I have not had another headache. Julie also explained when something she was doing could be done by my husband to help me get through the rest of my pregnancy and labor. It was really nice to go home with some tips! I loved that she used coconut oil for the massage instead of something that was artificially scented and heavily oiled. My skin felt and smelled amazing after the therapy. I will definitely be going back to see Julie after I deliver the baby (any day now!) to ensure a healthy recovery and no more headaches!
